hey guys it's Nikki and welcome to my channel Casey and I are currently on a walk to start off our week it is only 75° out which is absolutely insane it feels like a cool fall day and I'm here for it but I'm also not ready for summer to be over um um but yeah so we're going to do our first run tonight I got off my break a little later than I would want and I have to be back like right at the exact hour so I didn't have enough time to do my full warmup and get my 45 minute running so we're doing our walk now but I wanted to show you all these trees that are down we had a huge storm and so everybody's putting their trees to get picked up and it is just so so crazy we haven't been able to go on a walk because it's been so freaking hot I feel like the past leave it 2 months which is just so crazy so happy that come on baby happy that we get to have a little walk with case she just can't handle the heat anymore and so is back to a nice day so it's almost 6 o00 and I have a webinar I have to listen to so that's what's going to get me on the treadmill today I am so tired right now oh my goodness hi Casey but I get this done I think I'm going to wear I think I'm going to wear my my other new shoes that I haven't tried yet I have walked in them haven't ran in them yet so I think that's just what we're going to do and we're going to go and we're going to get it done and it's going to be great you need to move all right 45 minute run done it was tough one but we got it over with on to the next okay olypics for I have officially found the craziest Olympic sport are you ready sport climbing oh no what what excuse me they floated up the wall don't convince me otherwise happy Thursday I am getting ready to go do my run just got done with my warm up waiting for Casey to come inside it's like this time of year I don't know what one it's cool out right now but she loves eating bugs and it's like the grossest thing ever but the girl loves to eat bugs and if we have a fly in our house she'll like eyeball it and she'll just go and get it it's crazy but today was a very exciting day because the Halloween Expo guide came out and you guys for the for the half marathon we get to run in Angel's Stadium as a sports girlly I am here for it I am freaking ready so pumped honestly I am really excited about the courses 5K you start and end in the Parks 10K you start in outside of the parks but like pretty much the whole course is in the two parks the half marathon yes the majority of it is outside of the park but I don't even care I am so pumped it's going to be awesome so I want to get Casey to come inside we're going to go do our run downstairs all righty 45 minute run is done it actually went really well I just did a lot of stretching I did a 10-minute stretch and then I also did a 10-minute like hip mobility stretch honestly was kind of lame but hey we did it um run was great though I think I ran for like 30 minutes straight which haven't like done that in a while and I felt really good I did a country ride from Maddie Mao the pelaton trctor did really like it um I also ran in my fast and free leggings from Lululemon for the first time and I really liked them so I'm going to show you some of the new gear that I got um and I'm really excited to use it this weekend all right got my vest on got all my snackies probably going to cut this eventually but we're ready you ready to bike 11 miles ready girl all right we're on a different Trail today and Iowa look at the horsey oh my goodness can me see you oh baby oh my gosh so cute but we are half a mile in 10 and a half to go please tell me how am I supposed to eat eight of these every 45 minutes I can't I can't do it so pretty 5 and 1/2 68 minutes in 12 minute 12 and 1/2 miles 12 and 1/2 minute miles there we go listening to Mammoth club's podcast about High School Musical it's actually pretty funny Bambi where'd you go yeah hi baby [Music] hi mile 8 my splits are improving anyone else just like love the sound of the shoes hitting gravel or is it just me all right Mile 10 one more to go feeling good that last mile was a little hilly so a little struggle there but doing great just got done with my 11 miles it was good loved the vest loved my fuel feel like was pretty confident throughout it all thumb shout out to Mom riding her bike need one of these o instant cold press yeah I do how funny is that great hi nice work got to finish with a tasty treat woo cheers okay these were the chew they were like fruit snacks I really liked those and then my other ones so I did four of these it says eight that's just too much to have and then I did the salt tablets every 30 minutes I really liked the mix Berry I've been trying the watermelon um but mix Berry definitely is my favorite so really like these definitely going to get more of these I have a different brand that I'm going to try too but I really liked these all right you guys that's going to be it for today's update video last week went really well um definitely need to prioritize running during the day I just feel better running in that afternoon time during my break of from work and then Thursday's run was really good the 11 miles I am a little sore today but I am so confident I felt really good throughout the entire run my mile 4 for some reason is always my Longest Mile like no matter how many miles I run mile 4 is always The Longest Mile um so this was the first time that I have ran 11 miles in a very very long time I'm trying to think the last time I ran 11 miles probably was when I was training for the half marathon last year and to be completely transparent I don't even know if I actually did my long run at the end because it was cold and I was just kind of over it um and then like the actual half marathon technically was only a half half uh because it rained and Disney like cut the course short for safety um totally understandable but I was really confident about the 11 miles I loved the trail that we went to definitely going to go back there or like continue to go back there for my longer runs extra shout out to my mom she's the she's the best um coming with me and riding her bike I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable going there on my own just because it is very secluded um it's beautiful and super nice nice but just wouldn't feel comfortable going there by myself so happy that my mom was able to ride her bike and come with me what is even crazier about all of this is that this upcoming weekend we have four miles and then 12 and a half and that's it then we get to go run our half marathon so we are almost less than 2 weeks oh or almost 2 weeks away from leaving for our trip and then 3 weeks away from um running so how it works is like long run short long long run short run long one like that's how it goes like every other weekend and so like I said four miles is upcoming weekend I'm actually doing a cycling class with some friends too so that'll be fun and then the following weekend is 12 and 1 half and then the following weekend where we'll be in Disney is my four miles I probably won't end up doing that just for the fact that like we're going to be walking around in the Parks and I'll definitely walk for mile and Epcot on that Saturday but really excited our trip is coming up so make sure you subscribe to the channel make sure you give this video a big
