welcome back Dusty dorek in studio with us tonight as we talk some college football the Big 12 releasing the fall scheduled this past week of course OU and Texas out Arizona Arizona State Colorado Utah in and the Cowboys coming off the Big 12 title game appearance now know how things should line up after South Dakota State and Arkansas at home a trip to Tulsa the conference portion begins with Utah in Stillwater September 21st then a trip to Kansas State in October West Virginia in Stillwater at BYU at Baylor in November Arizona State at boom picking Stadium at TCU home for Texas Tech and a second off week before closing at Colorado on Friday November 29th Dusty yeah John look I think this is a favorable draw for the Cowboys look it's going to be a grind out of the block the Cowboys will only have to leave the state one time in the first six games before they hit that initial buy the first two big 12 games will likely be the biggest challenge the Cowboys going to face Utah coming to still water and obviously heading to Manhattan in back-to-back weeks it's a veteran football team team though going to be loaded coming back next year I expect they're going to be ready for the challenging start to the season no Kansas no Arizona I think is big they need to be Road Warriors down the stretch though four of the final Six coming on the road and keep an eye on that Black Friday match up in Boulder coach Gundy coach Prime tells me get your popcorn ready the Buffs have a brutal stretch to close out the season but it's going to be cold at altitude it's going to be a bit of a challenge to close it out the multiple by weeks across all of college football I think it's going to be fascinating to see and monitor and should lead to teams being fresher healthier at season's in could we see more of that in the future all I know is this it's going to be a fun competitive 16 team conference and overall I really like the schedule for the Cowboys Dean no I do too I like OSU schedule again this year uh or excuse me again next year because I liked it this year as well John um and I like their chances it looks more than manageable uh of course after being focused on the SEC opponents in my mind so much the the Big 12 is a breath of fresh air love playing Arkansas but it's a I mean right now you'd say it's a 50-50 game of course back-to-back Utah and kstate is the glaring important stretch but split those two and if OSU becomes the good team that I think we all anticipate they could win the rest and that says a lot sure does now as
