South Carolina barely beats Old Dominion 23-19- POSTGAME VIDEO

[Laughter] boy boy boy boy boy I'll tell you what well I'll say this first then I'll tell you what a win is a win right you hear it all the time you hear it all the time and a lot of people get tired of it but it is true at the end of the day a win is a win we're one and0 and I'd rather be one and0 than 0 and one and I'd rather have an ugly win than a loss right but I'm just gonna tell you this right now man to any South Carolina Gamecock Sunshine pumper there who hates it when anyone says one critical thing about their favorite team you can go ahead and get off this video right now this is not the place for you that's not what we do here I keep it a buck 50 with my fan base in my audience I tell how it is I was at the game yesterday I saw this firsthand I'm not going to sugarcoat anything anything I'm going to tell you exactly how I saw it and if you don't like it then get off the video South Carolina they better get on their hands and knees and kiss the cleats of their defense after that one because if it was not for those turnovers if it wasn't for that Old Dominion fumble inside a 10 yard line at the beginning of the game if it wasn't for all those fumbles and interceptions from Old Dominion South Carolina would have lost this game and they might have lost it bad your offense got absolutely big boyed bullied and let's call it for what it is dominated by old DE minion that is absolutely pitiful and pathetic the offensive performance yesterday was pathetic there's no excuse for an SEC team to get absolutely pushed around all day by his sunb team and that's no disrespect to Old Dominion AB State fans were angry with me when I said it in 2019 but it's true it's true an SEC team should not be struggling to a sunb belt team and it's absolutely concerning that you did so this offense I'm going to tell you right now outside of Lenor sters being able to run a little bit he made some mistakes he made some mistakes he fumbled rocket Sanders being able to run outside of that that is the only bright spot on this entire offense from what I saw yesterday we have absolutely zero passing game none the only the the most receiving yards we had yesterday was 54 by vrus Jacobs that was the leading receiver 54 yards you couldn't get anything done offensively last night against Old Dominion most of your points outside of two touchdowns which by the way you can thank your defense for all both of them by the way it was all field goals all field goals and the biggest reason you got there was because the rocket Sanders running ability and even Lenor s having to constantly scramble because the offensive line was getting absolutely big boyed by a Sun Belt team and I'm just going to tell you this right now if this offensive line got pushed around by Old Dominion oh my God look at the schedule we have coming up I hate to S all doom and gloom after week one but I'm just being honest what are you going to do against SEC competition what are you going going to do against Kentucky next week what are you going to do against LSU God help you when you play Alabama and Oklahoma and om Miss boy this offense is so concerning man so concerning and I'm just being honest if they don't figure something out quick it's going to be I pick this team to go six and six and pull off some upsets boy they'll be lucky to win four games if they don't get this figured out I'm just telling you right now I mean there was absolutely it was a pitiful performance offensively last night it was it was you should not be getting pushed around by a sun Bel team like that you just shouldn't as an SEC team you shouldn't you shouldn't and if this continues if this continues it's going to be a long season it is because guess what Vanderbilt Vanderbilt beat Virginia Tech you know that Contender team that everyone talked about in the ACC all offseason yeah they beat them Florida and South Carolina man the absolute jokes the bottom of the barrel of the SEC East unreal maybe you could still throw Vandy in there but my God Vandy beat a team that was actually yeah everyone hyped up all offseason long Vandy beat him South Carolina only beat Old Dominion by the Skin of Their Teeth through their defense and Florida got absolutely dominated by Miami which by the way I'm going to be eating a lot of crow in my week one recap on Tuesday I'mma give Miami their due recognition cuz I was I doubted them and they they went out there and they shut me up so I'm going to say that but you know there is one positive thing I'll say about this team is a defense outside of a few big given up plays the defense is the reason we won this game guys the defense is the reason we won this game if it weren't for those turnovers inside old Dominion's own 10 yard line would we have even scored a touchdown in this football game I am dead serious when I ask that question what would the result of this game be if it wasn't for that defense got to give him a hand man you got to give him a hand because they they clutched up and they saved the game with that game-winning interception I was by a friend at the stadium we both went crazy when that happened oh man and I will say I I got a vlog coming you know sometime this week of my experiences at the game pretty good time despite how the team played we actually had a really good time and I don't regret going one bit but I'm just saying this offense is in absolute trouble this year I mean you have you have such a brutal schedule upcoming and you get pushed around by Old Dominion excuse me for recognizing the red flags and being a little concerned because my God man if something doesn't change if something doesn't change and quick it's hard for me to imagine this team wins more than four games dude and again I hate to be Doom and Gloom in week one but anyone who saw that performance and has a realistic take they themselves are concerning and they themselves will tell you yeah if we see this happen against the SEC teams you can you can throw the possibility of making a bowl game out the window got to figure something out and quick got to but you know outside of that like I said a win is a win South Carolina WN the football game and that is good we one and0 it was an interesting week of college football wasn't it Clemson oh God man how y'all feeling how y'all feeling you know uh Vanderbilt beat Virginia Tech I feel bad for my boy hooky for Life there I understand though I understand we almost lost the old Dom Manion so we almost came close to feeling you guys pain almost uh Miami freaking steamrolled the Gators like I said I got a lot of crw to eat on Tuesday's video and I look forward to doing that because I was so wrong about Miami it's not even funny um let's see anything else oh yeah Notre Dame versus Texas A&M that game was very interesting for me it was boring a little bit early but I actually thought that this game was going to be really close and probably lowc scoring and it was A&M they almost had him they almost had him but Notre Dame hey give credit to Notre Dame clutched up and found a way to win that game 23 to 13 congrats to the Irish on a win against the agies in College Station not an easy place to play by any means so that's a big deal for Notre Dame there we're not done though Southern California versus LSU tonight cannot freaking wait for that one then we got Boston College versus Florida State we'll see if the NOS learned from that uh Georgia Tech loss Georgia Tech by the way shout out to Georgia Tech they whooped Georgia state is Georgia Tech and Miami the only I gotta be honest are they the best teams in the ACCC Georgia Tech and Miami are they the best teams in the ACC that's a genuine question we'll definitely find out more throughout the season but I'm just telling you after what we've seen so far and I know it's only week won but so far they look like the best teams in the ACC Georgia Tech and Miami wow wow uh it's going to be I I'm so excited college football is back guys I really am it's going to be a fun season um but yeah like I said in this game uh really just a pathetic offensive performance by South Carolina offensive line that was a major concern coming into this season I didn't think it would get bullied around by Old Dominion though I didn't think that my God though man it's going to be a wrong season it's going to be a long season for South Carina they don't figure this out and quick got Kentucky next week how do you think we're going to beat them if we can't even get anything going on offense how do you think we're going to beat Kentucky my God man uh that's pretty much it for what I got to say w just hope South Carolina fans what's hope something gets figured out in fixed soon
