back with another installment of interpret these scenes this scene comes from Caro's way this is volume number eight and in this scene this is when Caro confronts his lawyer and friend in the hospital after his lawyer and friend David Kleinfeld got stabbed for um you know I don't want to give away too much of the movie so he got stabbed so he was in the hospital and Caro was confronting his friend and lawyer all right so here it goes this is some of the dialogue I'm going paraphrase so David Kleinfeld so you the streets your whole goddamn world is this big and the Only Rule is save your own ass Callo asking save your own ass David Kleinfeld save your own ass Caro see this referring to the handgun that he took from David when he first came in the room David Kleinfeld was reaching for it because he didn't know that Caro was coming to see him Caro see this referring to the gun it belongs here he was saying put it on the desk in front of them or you know when you're in the hospital they have those tables that slide over the the bed not behind the pillow like I said he had it behind the pillow the gun for protection if somebody comes in the room that's trying to kill him he already had just got stabbed so of course he was paranoid not behind the pillow see this way you can reach for it quick they come in you ready for them and then he so long you got a beautiful future that's what car said to David this scene is very important for the movie it um it it it shows the end of their their friendship and their client um their attorney client situation so check out the movie in its entirety I thought that this was a brilliant scene this is a brilliant movie well written well acted and um the cinematography is fantastic check it out peace
