way definitely in recent history this is a fire that has been the most dramatic in terms of growth over a single day period but you had a lot of things coming into alignment you had low relative humidity high winds steep slopes um and just a period of extended high temperatures leading up to this and when all those things come together they can really create a dramatic growth we're definitely not out of the woods uh there was the evacuations that were ordered last night those are still in effect most of the folks were able to get out there's also a fire watch within the communities here in rightwood which were able to help get folks who are disabled or elderly or don't have transportation out so we haven't had any sort of injuries associated with the fire which is excellent news that's great because it was a coordinated effort between all the agencies here sardino County Fire LA County Fire the US Forestry Department and we were able to do that effectively to make sure we got everyone out we did lose a few structures um but no no uh life injuries at this point it it's definitely abnormal to have that many fires growing so dramatically all at once um but if the conditions are ripe and there's an ignition point then those the potential for that exists and we just have to make sure we stay prepared and effectively fight it
