We were at a track meet in Pocatello, Idaho. I was in California, Hunter lived in Utah at the time. We were both 17 years old, and I saw him, and I thought he was really cute. And he was running the 400m, actually. And I went up on the track and I gave him a hug. I said, I don't know how to do this, but I have to hug you. I had just ran a 400m, so I was a little bit unsure where I was at the tim knew who Tara was, and it was just like, I don't know. I just knew the girl was different. There's something special about her. And we kept in contact for so long, we were friends and then before we went to college, she she gave me a chance and we started dating. and the rest is history. I'm just, I'm grateful, we are a good. Quite a few people have, like told us that we have made a really special moment in the Games and we really try not to read too much into it. We just try to be ourselves and we're just so grateful that we get to share this sport that we love so much with so many new people. And we hope that people just like felt a little bit of of the emotions that we're able to feel over the past month. To have a partner in the same sport it means everything I mean, you understand what they're going through and they understand what you're going through. So rough days at practice, you know, we both get it and we're both trying to, you know, help each other and try to just be each other's partner in crime in this. The other one can be the motivator. It just makes those hard days go a lot easier and then it helps create results like this. This is my third Paralympic Games and by far it was my favourite experience. It was so unbelievable, the crowds were incredible. The energy was incredible. And there was just a magic in Paris this last month, and it was something I'll never forget. The fact that the Olympics are coming to the States is so surreal and it's going to be when we are 29 years old, so it'll be at our peak. I know I obviously hope to bring home a gold medal, but I hope to bring all my friends and family just to, you know, comment and support like it's a different experience supporting an Olympic or Paralympic Games for sure. I am so excited to have a Games in the United States. I've talked to so many Olympians from the past who talked about Atlanta or LA and how magical those Games were and like Tara said, just having so many of our family and friends who may not be able to make it all the way overseas, come and watch us in person and going back to Tara's hometown like we just we can't wait, we've had so many special experiences in LA, so now we get to compete there. Make sure you guys stay tuned because there's a lot more things coming up and we're going to continue to prepare for LA 2028. See you there! Bye!
