all right so you picked up Jackie shift a couple days ago and let her know that you had no problem picking it up and then you didn't show up so I was just wondering where you were well I picked it up because I wanted some extra hours but honestly I just didn't really feel like coming in at the end of the day so I just didn't show up all right unfortunately since at the end of the day it became your responsibility for that shift I have to write you up so I'm going to need you to sign this why am I getting written up it was Jackie shift I shouldn't be the one getting in trouble as a former store manager at our other store I'm pretty sure you know the poly they're the exact same as ours now a no call noow is an immediate write up and Three Points um there's no warning for that isn't it your job to find coverage when we're short staffed absolutely you're right it is my responsibility I called other people nobody wanted to come in so I was on the register and I have no problem with that but it's also my job to make sure that people are coming in for their shifts that are their responsibility and if they don't I'm supposed to act accordingly okay well what if I don't want to sign it if you don't want to sign honestly that's fine it's just an acknowledgement that you know that you've been talked to about this you will be getting fre points for this no call no show and this write up will be put into your file so I don't even get a warning or anything that's it one because it's policy and two because this isn't unusual behavior for you Caren so maybe next time if you pick up somebody's shift you should come I don't see how you can't just let this one slide like it's the first time come on
