in the back end of our fantasy drafts we're looking for those handcuff running backs and those lottery ticket running backs who could ultimately be League winners for a fantasy team if given the opportunity if the starter goes down with the injury they can step up get those carries and win some games for us Ray Davis is one of those running backs we're looking at in the double digit rounds for the Buffalo Bills because he's got a lot of upside we're going to do a deep dive on him today we're doing deep Dives that every day so you need to click that subscribe button we're doing player lists in season we're going to work the waiver wire with a lot of videos we're going to help you set your lineups with these videos so click that subscribe button move that thumb a little bit over on your phone click that button stop missing out but Ray Davis was not heavily recruited out of high school he went to Temple but we were in college for quite a bit start off at Temple then went to Vandy finished off at Kentucky but rush for over a th000 yards with two different Collegiate programs and we had some big performances against some big schools especially in the SEC and averaged over three yards after contact per attempt with every school we played with and averaged 3.39 yards after contact per attempt on our career recreated a lot of Miss tackles and that was with multiple different teams looking good he's got good Vision good wiggle in the open field with a little bit of pop in the step you saw that that when you ran a 452 40 yard dash at 21 lb it's not in the 43s it's not in the low four fours it's good enough to get the job done and what you'll see on the film is a very steady running back who's very reliable good between the tackles good in pass protection that's one thing they're saying out of training camp and you'll see that in the preseason highlights is him blowing dudes up in pass protection and that's going to get him on the field and he's probably going to be the one B back behind James Cook maybe the rb2 1B getting some touches to start things off intermittently but if something happens to James Cook he's going to be the guy Ty Johnson's another running back to look at he's got a lot of Pop he's got a lot of speed he could be a guy to break up the party but Ray Davis was drafted for a reason he's got a lot of upside he's good in pass protection that is going to get him on the field he's very reliable he's very steady and James Cook held it down last last year the story of these Buffalo Bills is they were bringing in all these veterans latavius Murray Leonard fette and they were trying to find someone to spell and be the one be back for James Cook trying to get those goal line carries those Red Zone touches just trying to spell him a little bit they couldn't get it done that's why they went to the NFL draft picked up Ray Davis in the fourth round a reliable running back who's good in pass protection good between the numbers good between the tackles and can get the job done James Cook very solid fantasy football-wise can catch balls out of the back field his Electric in space But ultimately when you look at him play you know they need another running back to compliment him and that's what they did Buffalo has a lot of run plays per game 31 that's like top five in the NFL and they're looking to run the ball some more that's why they picked up another running back in the draft Ray Davis looks like he's going to get some opportunity here from what we're reading from training camp both of these running backs have F btis in training camp but Ray Davis like I've been saying from the tape they've also been saying that he's nasty in pass protection that gets you on the field and if you like them both you can get them both because per ADP you can draft just some James Cook in the early middle rounds and then come back swoop in in the double digit rounds and get you Ray Davis in your home League drafts when you're looking at multi-site 8p here he's going around the 15th round multi-site 80P means it's 80P averaged out between Yahoo NFL and ESPN so it's going to be kind of like your hom League drafts but kind of different he may go undrafted and basic hom League drafts but he's a prime lottery ticket because you know the bills can move the football you know they're going to use their running backs you know that one B back's going to get touches in the Red Zone he could be getting some Red Zone looks on top of that James Cook goes down you know Ray Davis is going to get his opportunity he's going to get those short yardage runs he's going to be between the tackles be used a little bit in pass protection and he's been looking good in preseason and training camp and he's got some juice to his game and you're getting him in double digit rounds where the price is very easy right now and he's a guy that once he gets his opportunity if he's sitting down waivers everybody's going to blow their Fab to get him and if you got them on your team now and you got the space for it go ahead and do so stash as long as you can but you don't want them because you're looking at a different lottery ticket running back and somebody else draft him pretty much lottery tickets or lottery tickets how many lottery tickets have you bought and won a million dollars with whatever lottery ticket you want out of this draft go get it but the thing is strategy wise like I say every year those double digit rounds you better be pulling some lottery tickets you better stash them you better Di fist them hold on to them tightly you never know when they're going to blow up but if you got to turn and burn your roster for a waiver wire get those are also guys you're going to turn and burn with but you need him as a cheap lottery ticket you like the bills you like the offense you like his talent he's good between the tackles good Vision you like all of that you need just some Ray Davis and I do like him he is one of my favorite prospects in the double digit rounds let me know what you think in the comments below make sure to hit that subscribe button on the way out I want to thank you for watching catch you on the next video [Music]
