Mike Harris on the Park Hall pitch, as The New Saints make a UEFA league phase for the first time

chairman Mike Harris you've talked about this for many years decades in fact tonight it's become a reality the new Saints has qualified for a league phase yeah and it feels something wonderful you know it's as you tick off things right make people call about ticking off their bucket list and you tick off more things but this football club has been very very special to me it's been very special to a lot of people and it's starting to grow that specialness right whether it's Lance and Fri or Os fown it's special and the people who sort of seen it grow and sometimes go for a while then they come back and overall you see the ones who've been part of his journey here tonight the Ken McKenna the Andy KES you know it it's not just a few people's here that journey of those players that have been here for over the time who brought success in their own ERA this just validates the belief that they had in this football club to sign for us then when we were a lot less famous than we are today Mike over the years we have been close on many occasions but not quite got over the line have you ever wavered in your belief that one way one day you would do it do you think I've ever wavered in anything r one thing right if I can't get through the door I'll go around it under it over it or smash thing in and and and Mike we have to look ahead of course what what does the future hold for the new Saints what what are your long-term plans for the club more of a say because hey we've only just entered the club we want to go home with a nice looking girl we've not have a little dance we want a couple of beers we want to also have the time in the party and then guess what we want to go to bigger parties and we want to do the same again and you know we want to put Welsh football and this football club in the same place that other countries have put their established Champions and if we can't do that the doors open for other clubs to do exactly the same chairman Mike haris thank you for your time this evening I'll let you go back to your celebration I'm going for a beer now thank you
