situated in Cameron Parish Louisiana this vast 3556 acre landscape of marsh offers unparalleled opportunities for duck hunting among the landscape it's located in the right on the the border of the saine lake Sabine River and the Sabine Wildlife Refuge it is uh split into two tracks a south track and a North track and it's split by a body of water called Black Bayou we have approximately 168 80 acres on our North track north of the Bayou and about 17 1800 Acres on the south side we hunt predominantly on the south track we uh least the north track the hunting over here has been very consistent we have six fourman aluminum pit blinds that are covered by naturally planted native grass they're not camouflaged by things that are cut and brought in it's the plants are growing around each one of the blinds behind each blind is a perogue shed and the perog is camouflage the same way and have a fourman what we call a barrel blind in a in a smaller Pine up front one of the unique things about this Marsh is it borders Sabine Wildlife Refuge which is 125,000 Acres of marsh that's basically unmolested there's not a lot of boat traffic you hunt all morning and you don't hear anybody else shooting and with without any other activity out there our water stays clear since the water's clear the sun can come down get to the widend grass and the widend grass just comes in from the edge of the ponds our growing season is much longer so August September October the WID and grass continues to grow and and just gets further and further from the edges and closer to the blinds and that's the reason this is not a just a Gadwall and teal Mor that's why we have the the species and get mads and pin tails Widgeon and other things that makes this place so special in such a wonderful place to hunt about a week or two before the season we have a tug what do we call Brown waterer tugs that come in and and pushes this house boat out to the March we have a bulk head that's set up on the west side and we're tied up to the bulkhead and we drop the pilings down to lock it into place and right off of the the boat shed is we have a little walkway to get to a boat shed where we keep the pro drives and the direct drives and the go Devils we have a area that we have a little cleaning area and a storage shed the house boo is a two-story modular home that is built on a 30X 8 80 BGE the storage is in the base of the BGE and that's where we keep our decoys and the other supplies we have um the uh the diesel the water for the faucets the showers and the bathrooms are as well we have a generator that runs the whole season long when you walk into the camp you walk into combination living and kitchen we have a full kitchen we have stackable washer and dryers fireplace TV to watch all the games we have the internet out here upstairs there's four bedrooms two bathrooms upstairs we have a bunk room downstairs that has a bathroom as well each hunter or each group of hunters that we have each room I basically could call it as a locker where you can keep everything else you need for your hunt you can keep it as before you come upstairs you can just go to your locker and and change and change change out of your boots or your waiters before before you come upstairs when the boat is out there after the hunt you have to suffer your way through coming back and getting in the hot tub this rare opportunity to own a secluded section of prime Marsh habitat with Superior duck hunting awaits
