Bowman Jordan how you doing tonight man good man uh just kind of at a at a loss for words in a lot of respect for what we just saw um but man it it wasn't refreshing just a lot of what we saw was something we have not seen this team do to anybody whether it be FCS group of five or power of five anything in between we have not seen them do like play this complete of a game offensively and you know since Trevor Lawrence was the quarterback so I mean what can I say man you you literally a record setting performance so I I'll take it and you know we our prediction like this is the second week in a row that you and I both of our predictions were way off completely wrong but we're we're much happier to be way off on this one than we were uh last last week so hey man a lot to talk about lot of positives you know wasn't a perfect game by any means but um really everything you wanted to see and more coming into this game to feel you know good about the about the the season moving forward so uh can't wait to get into it yeah absolutely man look um we recognize that this is appstate okay uh this is a group of five team Clemson went in there and did exactly what you should do to a group of five team if you are a legitimate uh I guess power four team now right uh but at the end of the day like you said Jordan we have not seen an offensive explosion from this Clemson Tiger team that even remotely looked anything close to what we saw today in three plus Seasons um so it's been a long time and it was really nice to see Clemson go out there and just execute and it looked easy it looked natural um it looked effortless for majority of of the time that the first team offense was out there um Every Time We Touch the ball in the first half we scored a touchdown um and I don't care who you're playing that's that's pretty special um especially for this offense if you've watched Clemson's offense over the past three seasons um you would have never thought against any opponent that they could go out there and score on every single offensive possession in the first half um I would have told you you were crazy um but we saw it tonight and it was really good to see and we'll definitely dive deep into it and uh get our thoughts out there and and our instant reactions uh but before we do that Jordan let's go ahead and hit the comment section up real quick shout out to the comment section we got 83 people in here I cannot list off all the names I'm not even going to try tonight it's it's going on 12 o'clock I've been up since 4:30 this morning uh had a softball turn with my daughter um so I've been uh grinding away since 4:30 this morning uh so I am tired so forgive me guys um appreciate the comment section uh you guys are amazing you guys always dve we already got we already got two super chats in too so that's oh wow all right uh you what makes it so great Jordan let's go a and hit those super chats and then we'll dive into our breakdown and our initial thoughts of uh the game that we just watched yeah absolutely starting with tricksters with the $2 thank you so much for contributing to the show um he says this was a 2018 Clemson game also Cade is number one yeah absolutely I mean this is reminiscent of you know some of the the past you know playoff caliber versions of Clemson this is what they would do um to the teams that were you know group of five or FCS and honestly there's a wide Gap and you know I I do want to I do want to say this first and foremost because we did talk about AB State and how talented they are and I don't feel any differently about that I think you saw them especially when they settled in you saw them make some plays especially in that second half Joey agalar is a talented football player they have some really good skill position players so I don't you know and ab state was one of the favorites um for a lot of people uh to potentially um you know get that group of five playoff spot and they are they were the preseason pick to to win the Sun Belt so like I mean this is not an un you know this was not scrubs you were playing by any means and to do that the way you did and score touchdowns on every single Drive in the first half like it was 42 to nothing before they even before they even crossed your 50 yeah like that's that is that is Clemson football that we had grown accustomed to um during the playoff years so really good to see and uh but yeah TR and Kade is number one yeah we're going to talk about Kade kumnick best game of his career by far like just about as perfect of a game as you could ask of any quarterback um especially when you consider the statistical uh Records he just he just set um in in one half of football it's pretty incredible um Steele gamble thank you for the5 he says a lot of people picking EP State look silly tonight Death Valley ain't nothing sweet unlike College Station W yeah I mean you're right you know AB state was a it was a common upset pick a lot of people picked AB State against the spread even even me and TPC did but you know like we you know we kind of felt like okay we didn't expect this kind of explosion you know from one week change and um you know that just it's very very encour encouraging and and obviously I think appstate is a well- coached and really prideful program so to come in and just kind of um put them out of it before they could even blink was that's that's what good teams do that that's what great teams do um not ready to conclude yeah and and you know make any you know too many overarching sort of conclusions about this team because again you know week is a different week but this is what she wanted to see and and then some I I I could not have I could not have dreamed this up if you had uh if you had told me uh what this was going to look like I would have said um you know where are you getting your shrooms and um you know hook me up because yeah I'd like to live in that fantasy land but no that's reality so that was really cool um and oh Clemson football kickoff he says uh thank you for the five do as well he says Jay Haynes rb2 Jay hannes looked really impressive he had some really impressive runs tonight he shows that that burst and acceleration and then that juice that like I we we both have been talking about throughout the offseason that we just never really got to see much of last year because of injuries um yeah he's good and he was kind of a unknown relative unknown late take um in his in his recruiting class but he's he's a talent Ed football player he just played in a really small league in in Alabama um wasn't really recruited heavily but that's that's what Clemson has made their money on and that that's what dbo has has been a great at um over the years is just finding guys finding those gems that that you know weren't highly recruited guys um so Jay haes look really really good tonight yeah absolutely I think he definitely kind of solidified that rb2 role for himself um just being that change of pace guy that you need in this offense uh with a guy like Phil mafa um and he really showed what he could do on the field tonight so um shout out Jay Haynes thank you Clemson football kickoff for the $ five Super Chat uh really appreciate that all right so I I think we can go ahead and like just dive on let's just dive on in man um there we I know we have a lot of thoughts uh on on everything let let's just start with with the offense and and start with the quarterback klubnik man that was that was Texas Westlake klubnik yeah personified like everything that you saw from him in high school that was just effortless gunslinging just Fe completely Fearless like it that was the K Club Nick that you thought you were getting coming out of high school um that that is the best half of football in Clemson history statistically yes that's pretty hard to wrap your head around when you consider the the the players that Clemson has had um not even just in the the past 10 years but just over the years like you know Clemson has been a really has had some really really talented quarterbacks um throughout its history and none of them touched what K Club Nick just did right um and look I I think it's it's crazy to think about that right um when the announcers first started talking about it in the first half about how this was the most points ever scored in a quarter for Clemson the most points ever scored in a half um and then they brought up the stat about Lamar Jackson um that really put things into perspective yeah and and it just it kind of like it started kind of hitting um a little bit differently how special of a half of football that Cade was having um and you gotta love it for the guy because he's been through a lot of down and and low moments as the quarterback of Clemson um and he just went out there and had himself a day if you just think about how the day how the night started off for Clemson um and more specifically Cade third play of the game 75 yard bomb um touchdown right so and that just kind of set the tone after that I mean it was a beautifully a beautiful thrown ball um hit the guy right in stride uh Brian Wesco walks in uh essentially for Clemson's first touchdown of the Season uh scored by a freshman uh so shout out to if I don't know if anybody out there had a prop bet on that but if they did um they they probably got paid out pretty well on that but it was it was a perfectly thrown ball it was a great route by Wesco and man that dude looks fast in the open field f after he after he gets the ball like his acceleration was insane um and it it just looked great and from then on you could see Kate's confidence you could see the confidence in the offense I mean it was just Skyhigh and it never dropped I mean you're look if you're talking about Kade stats from today right um and just the offensive stats in general I mean they were absolutely insane I mean you're you're talking about a 92% completion percentage he went 24 of 26 tonight five touchdowns two rushing touchdowns um that's an insane day man um and as much as you have to put it in perspective and we will uh obviously we're going to give props and be excited about this performance because it's been so long since Clemson fans have seen anything close to this so yeah we're going to Relish in it we're gon to enjoy it tonight we're going to be excited about what we saw on that field um and we will put it in perspective that yes this is one game yes we were playing a group of five team yes we were supposed to come in here and blow out appstate if we even want to remotely have the season that we're supposed to or that we want to have right um but the offensive explosion was truly something special to watch so and just put it into your perspective Jordan as you were watching this kind of explosion in the first half because if any if everyone's being honest with themselves no one saw this coming no one NOP we could have played the the local high school that hadn't won a game in five years and no one would have thought that every time Clemson touched the football in the first half they would have ended in the end zone no one would have thought that including us so kind of put it tell the people tell us how you were feeling watching this game um and how it was just to see Clemson's offense operate at such um a crazy clip man like they were just Kate hit that one bomb and then it was it just like snowballed from there yeah man it was honestly it was it was Nostalgia honestly in a lot of ways it was like a a h it was like it was like seeing an old friend that you hadn't talked to in in like three years like it it was it was that kind of experience like I was literally jumping out of my seat like I would have done backflips if like I had enough room in my living room um it was it was awesome and so like I I don't want again and I'm we're going to keep reiterating this like this is just one one game and doesn't necessarily mean everything for what what this team will be the rest of the season but man just it's one of those you needed to see the ball go through the hoop and you saw the ball go through the hoop a lot and that was that that was pretty that was pretty spectacular um so I I was really really excited um just watching Cade just look just so it it looked like they were having fun like we have not seen this offense have fun in a long time and it looked like everybody was was having fun everybody was having a good time it was like everything that we had that had been talked about during the off season about you know Kate has has taken the next step and we you know this is the best group of of skill position players that we've had in in quite some time and this offensive line has a chance to be one of the better ones we've had in quite some time all of that kind of stuff you know showed itself in in that one game and they were they were in sync um for the first time in a really really long time and and Garrett Riley just the the ways he was getting them the football the way he was creating mismatches and creating um easy opportunities for CAD like it wasn't just him making super tight window throws it was just it was guys streaking wide open like wide open man yeah just the one the one that Jake Brenning sto where he just basically he would he didn't even really look he just he's just streaking down the sideline and and Kay just puts it right in his hip like that like I thought he was gonna drop it for a second yeah me too I was like I was like oh man that's that's that's it right there um but no it it just it just looked so easy and we have not seen offense look easy in a long time so that was um that was pretty pretty cool yeah I mean it was it was pretty awesome to watch from my perspective I mean you know kind of going back to our thoughts in in the preview that we did last night on the game um and kind of you know I asked you the question and answered the same question myself of you know what would a successful day look like for the Clemson offense well they far exceeded anything that we listed off but one of the things that I did mention was hey I would really like to see a confident downfield passing game um that would be great and then I think the other thing that I said was something to the effect of I just want it to look easy for Clemson like for once I just want it to like them to go out there and establish a rhythm and be able to operate with Tempo um and just look like they've done it before I said something to that effect well they exceeded those expectations exponentially uh tonight and it was great to see Cade finally I think for the first time in his career as a Clemson quarterback truly look confident and yeah other than like we haven't seen that other than the ACC Championship game when he came in DJ like right but like truly look confident and look like okay yeah this is his this is his offense these are his guys uh they're looking to him they're feeding off of his energy um and he truly looked like that guy out there tonight so shout out to Kate I'm sure he's GNA enjoy it um there's a byee coming this week um but obviously they'll have to get back to work NC State's coming to town um right after this bye so um no real time to uh you know take a break and uh enjoy it too long you got to get back to work you gotta uh grind that away but um just to put in to perspective the first half uh that this Clemson offense had 525 yards of total offense 378 yards passing Cade was 24 of 26 um 14.5 yards average per pass uh 147 yards rushing that'll do that'll do in 15 minutes of time of possession every time they touched the ball they scored a touchdown um and it looked easy it looked natural they were they were six of six on on third down they were perfect on third down in that first half um everything looked natural everything looked easy um the offense looked like it flowed it looked like it made sense um and frankly I think the big difference was to your point there were Playmakers out there just making plays right people were open yeah Kade made some great throws taking nothing away from Kade he had an amazing night you don't throw 92% completion percentage and not have a great night I don't care who you're playing um but those receivers man Brian Wesco hey he's a dude man like he's the real deal uh Antonio Williams we already knew yeah but he just remind you every single game he goes out there he reminds you hey I'm still here right um he needs to hold on to that damn punt though I I had I had flashbacks to a game that we won't mention by name um let's not talk about that game okay let's not talk about that but yeah uh TJ Moore had a couple nice catches um and he was probably down to be fair had had that had yeah he he probably was there wasn't a camera angle that was going to put him down but yeah he was probably down uh but whatever um yeah TJ Moore got into the end zone um Brenning sto had himself a day um good to see that um it was just playmaker after playmaker mafa flashed a little bit of speed everybody talks about mafa being the Bruiser the the big heavy back to just you know rattle the the linebackers heads but hey he showed a little he show he showed a little little speed today he outran like no the the way he outran that nobody that's 62 230 pounds should move that the way that Phil mafa does i i and it like and we knew this like you can think he's had runs like this in the past I I remember the Run he had against Florida State you know his freshman year that that one he really showed off his speed the one against the opening touchdown against Notre Dame last year he just he just separated from everybody like yes that's that's that's the Phil mafa that you know we wanted to see and he didn't get a ton of opportunities um last week and so um man just everybody everything was you know other than Tyler Brown obviously rolling up his ankle that was you know that was dis disappointing because he didn't really get to uh he didn't really get to eat with everybody else um but yeah but that just shows you that that's your leading receiver from last year and and you still had a record setting passing performance and you had guys you know step up like that when we talked about how deep we thought this wide receiver room was that is what we thought we were getting right that is what we thought we were getting and um I I think you know Dabo obviously was a he was a man of his word when he said things were going to change with with the some the rotation especially at wide yeah um and you saw the results um and I I don't and and I think the good thing is is that you made those changes but then the the guys that got less snaps the Adam randles the the um the Cole Turners they had good plays in this game Cole Turner had a couple had a had had a couple really nice plays I saw Adam Randall you know his snap count went down I saw him blocking his ass off I saw him make a couple of tough catches um like that's good like I think those two have utility in this offense in in spots and but and I I think but you know you it's obvious you have difference makers ahead of them and you played them and you saw you saw everything just kind of open up yeah so yeah I think it was the the rotation was definitely complete 180 from what we saw against Georgia and the result was a complete 180 as well um and and you could just see the dynamic ability of some of those guys man um and when they're out there on the field together that's not fun man that's not fun for a defensive back group um to try to you know take care of especially a group like App State you know they're they're physically they're overmatched already um because they don't have nearly the talent that Clemson has on their roster um so they're already at a complete disadvantage um and then you put all those guys on the field at the same time and and you saw the results of that you had guys running wide open and uh K was playing you know just basically pitch and catch at that point um I do want to shout out Kade though um for sure about his deep ball tonight it was it was great his deep ball was much better completely 180 pH he had he had a he had one underthrow he did he had one but it drew a pass interference on the shout out to Antonio Williams for uh going to get that ball or trying to go get that ball to draw that flag yeah that's gonna be a flag every day of the week if the receiver goes back and attempts to get the ball that's exactly what Antonio Williams did 15 yard penalty comes out um and a badly thrown ball turns into a positive play because of the penalty so um shout out to Antonio Williams for that heads up play um but outside of that one pretty much every other throw that Kade made was as far as deep balls goes were were right in stride I mean you think about that first one he threw to Wesco right in stride right um so so his deep ball was much better tonight um we beat him up about it in the first game so you got to give him love in the second game when he comes out and obviously makes the correction and has a much better day throwing a deep ball absolutely um uh and and before we talk about some other things I see you guys talking about it in in the chat um we we do want to say rest in peace to DeAndre Overton obviously if you I'm sure everybody knows by now uh but unfort he was um shot and killed last night former Clemson wide receiver um absolutely tragic tragic um event um and you know two-time national champion and captain in 2019 you know he was playing with uh the Memphis um I forget the I forget the name of the team in the UFL yeah man I I I I got really emotional um when they they showed the the um them like at the top of the hill and they let um our two number 14s run down the hill first and there was kind of a a moment of silence after the cannon and like nobody after they went down yeah that was beautiful yeah I thought they I thought they did a really really good job um just kind of honoring him and uh yeah that was uh that that had me that had me tearing up a little bit yeah I mean that was I think that was super special of Clemson to to honor DeAndre in that way and I mean it's just I mean you hate to hear about you know the passing of anyone but the circumstances surrounding it and you know it just makes it you know that much worse um and then you you factor in how young he was and you know how much potential he had and the the life he had to to live ahead of him and and all of that stuff it's it's it's it's tough man um but I think Clemson did um a really great job of just honoring him before that game um and showing him and his family uh love um and and how important he was to to the Clemson Community when he was there yeah absolutely um and uh another thing that they did a really good job uh somebody put I don't know who did it but you know on his his plaque on tiger walk um flowers and balloons um and and they and then Clemson and then dbo during tiger walk walk he went down and um he stopped at DeAndre Overton's plaque and blew him a kiss and and had a moment of silence that was that that one that that one got me too um yeah man uh so uh rest in peace Dre yeah Clemson friends absolutely you know team former teammates it was heartbreaking you know seeing all the the the responses and reactions on social media it was yeah it was it was a lot and just just shocking and yeah very very tragic but you know we will forever remember him National Champion um I remember his his three touchdown performance against Boston College that was really really cool I think it um he he he holds the record for most touchdown catches along with like Justin Ross or Scott a few other Clemson receivers but yeah um yeah he's in he's in the Clemson record books and he caught he he also caught Trevor Lawrence's first touchdown pass did Clemson so yeah and uh what was that against um Texas S&M no it wasn't that people always say that t Higgins caught his first that that was Trevor Lawrence's first touchdown pass against a power fight but the week before we had played um you're right what I don't remember who was it some nobody school thater yeah I'm I'm blanking right now I I know who it was but um yeah he he did catch Trevor Lawrence's first official touchdown passes the Clemson Tigers so that's really cool yeah that's awesome um you know what and what a night for for Clemson's offense to suddenly uh seemingly resurrect themselves absolutely it was yeah t Tater King got me it it was fman I I I knew it was one of the instate FCS schools I just I didn't want to say which I couldn't remember which one um so yeah um rest in peace to him uh and prayers to his his family and friends um tough time man tough time um but you know I think Clemson did a really good job of honoring him and and they will probably continue to do so um as the year goes on absolutely um not really not really a a good way to move on from that but um some of the other uh you know things that stood out to me offensively um offensive line fantastic you know I I you know one of the things that that we had talked about in the pregame is like we wanted to see that that same physicality you saw against Georgia and that want um against Georgia you wanted to see that against App State too and I thought you saw that especially the first team offensive line they gave Cade all day in the passing game especially it was yeah he had no worries that the got touched no I he really didn't it was that was the the like Kade had the cleanest Pockets I've seen a Clemson quarterback having and quite some time and so and they just they played together and that that's with Marcus Tate going he wasn't he wasn't able to go in this game um so you know I thought Colin Sadler filled in really nicely especially you know after he struggled a good bit against Georgia it was a nice bounceback performance for him um uh just Ryan lyam has has quietly just put together two really really solid games I thought he was solid against Georgia and I thought he was really really good today um you know I I think this group this group is is good I I I I I genuinely believe this group is good and and I think they're only going to get better um yeah you know they're not perfect by any means and but I I think this I I think you you're seeing the difference um under Matt Luke's tutelage that we just have not seen from Clemson offensive lines in the past um just really really I think the the pass to Antonio Williams the touchdown pass to Antonio Williams was just like Cade sat there for he had all the time in the world for that play to develop like that's that's the kind of those are the kind of things you you want to see um so um yeah just really really really happy with the offensive line play um and it was cool to see and and also um the backup running backs Jay Haynes David auma may play good out there he looks fast he looks good um good to see those guys get out there but yeah yeah I mean yeah the o line looked great man um they looked really good they they are obviously improved um Matt Luke has had an effect on that room uh and they look significantly better than they did last year now we'll see how they shape out uh as the season goes on I think we'll need to keep Health on our side because I do think some of the depth there is not where those those first five guys are right yeah but um it's exciting to see the Improvement along the offensive line so early in the season and I think you know with health on their side if they stay healthy they're they're only going to improve as the season goes on right so um I think they'll continue to be better um they just seem like they have a different intensity out there this season um and I'm pretty sure that comes from Matt Luke and the way that he approaches the game with his energy and his accountability and the way that he kind of challenges those guys you can definitely see the change on the field um in that offensive line and that's pretty special I think um but running back is man we got some dudes at running back dude like I know you know we got Phil mafa and and he's the guy he's gonna be rv1 all season he's gonna get the bulk of the carries um but Clemson fans got a reason to be excited about the future at running back because some of those guys came out and and flashed tonight and I know they're young and and they still got some growth and and some things to learn and and some things to improve on but I think the future is bright at that position um I was I was really happy to see some of those young guys get out there and get some opportunities yeah absolutely um and and that that was really exciting to see um Josh Sapp had a really nice catch it tied end Olson Olsson Pat Henry had a couple of nice catches it was good to see the tight ends get just I mean Jake berning St obviously had a really really nice day um but it was nice to see some of the other tight ends get involved um and you know we we've already talked about Brian Wesco shout out to TJ Moore for getting his first career touchdown as well really really well-designed play you know just motioned him out got him and got him isolated um on an inside route and he had all the leverage in the world to to run it in I mean it wasn't wasn't even an overly complicated play but it but it's stuff like that that we just we have not seen this offense be able to execute consistently and like the middle of the field was open for the first time you know this this year you know we've we've we've talked about that you know for multiple Seasons about how Clemson doesn't utilize the middle of the field enough and you know it's it's too much you know verticles you know down the down the hashes and down the sideline and not um you know utilizing you know that big part of the the field and it it because it definitely wasn't open well there were opportunities against Georgia but you didn't really take them um and and and that was the biggest that was another big difference and so I I thought Cade Spread spread the ball to multiple parts of the field and showed that he could hit uh to multiple parts of the field and that was you know that's what we've wanted to see from this offense um and it it just it changes everything about how defensive coordinators in the future will play you because now they they you've put this on tape that hey we are gonna we are going to you know utilize the middle of the field hey we are going to to to you know throw it deep and and test your your DBS with no there's not going to be as much you know you know guys you know teams kind of loading up against the run and and daring you to throw and you just playing timid because I I feel like you you have The Playmakers to make them pay for that um so you know this was um this was everything you could have asked for from a from the offense um and more yeah no certainly um another thing I wanted to kind of mention and Shout out before we move on from the offense is perimeter blocking it was much better yeah it was much better um I liked what I saw out there perimeter block a lot more effort um and that's really what it is as a wide receiver blocking out in space right it's it's pretty much all effort uh and and just a tiny little bit of technique and stuff like that but the effort out there was much better tonight yeah um and part of that was everything was going well and everybody was having a good time and and all of that stuff but I I got to shout those dudes out because they did a really good job out there perimeter blocking for the most part uh tonight especially when we were trying to get things um swing passes and and and things like that out on the edge they did a really good job didn't always work but um there was good effort out there with the blocking I think I'm with you um and that's what we've wanted to see that's what they that's probably the biggest thing other than explosive plays that they've lacked um from the wide receivers in particular so um absolutely um any other any other things that stood out to you offensively um no not really I think we hit on it was good to see um the backup quarterbacks get in there right yeah uh good to see vizen get out there uh he likes running the ball maybe a little too much uh hey he he can run and something that I I I I put out a tweet I said you know this is the first time really in in Chris's um career that he's gotten to Showcase his legs um that's something he did a lot of in high school um because you know he did not have a very good offensive line um and a lot of the plays he made in high school was him you know making plays off schedule but also you know some designed quarterback run stuff too he can run he's he's a good athlete um and so I I think you think you saw that that um I think that that touchdown run he had um really really well-designed play um you know I I loved I Lov that play call on that fourth down um but you saw his wheels um and and of course he also had that long run earlier in the drive like he's he's going to be um you know once he he settles in as a pocket passer like you see the the talent and you see why why Clemson liked him so much out of high school so yeah I look I love his ability to run I just think sometimes he pulls it down a little too quickly yeah he he likes running um which is a good thing and and it's a good skill to have um and it was nice to see The Return of the quarterback run for Clemson tonight uh something that's been a staple of that offense for uh you know a while um and a staple of most offenses most offenses do a little bit of of quarterback run if they have anybody athletic back there uh so yeah was good to see him um I think he made some really good play made some really good throws too um shout out to him that that one to Cole Turner um on the sideline over there that was a great great and great that was that's the cold Turner that we thought we were getting in the you know before the season that's the athlete like he when when he's not having to think I I you know Cole Turner in particular like they did he had you know a really nice catch uh on the sideline like really nice snag like it wasn't a a great ball by Cade but he just he went up and got it on that out route um obviously the big play uh from from vizina but then they they also ran a little reverse with him um yeah that's the kind like what if he's the fastest player on the team why don't you do that more that's what you do with an athlete like that and you and you saw you saw the wheels he can move like yeah run some motion uh get him moving and you know BS him the ball or pitch him the ball or whatever and get him out in space and you know see if he can get around the the corner and and make something happen if he's the fastest guy on the team right yeah so uh and that's kind of like I feel like that's what me and you were talking about the most kind of breaking down what happened with Georgia and stuff like that is just like getting your your Playmakers the ball in space right uh and that's one example right doing a Jet Sweep with a cold Turner uh you talk about how fast he is all the time so you know that's a really easy way of ensuring that he gets the ball in space and then let's see what happens right maybe he breaks it maybe he only gets four or five yards you can live with that as well so um but yeah like to see Chris Vena in there uh get a couple plays that they played all the quarterbacks uh which was surprising Paul Tyson got snaps man Paul Tyson got some snaps I was like dang they done empty uh the quarterback room that's crazy uh I didn't think we'd ever see Paul Tyson take a snap for Clemson this season um but sure enough week two uh Paul Tyson was was out there taking a snap for Clemson so shout out to all the quarterbacks getting in there uh the other two um you know pman and and Tyson really didn't get that much uh lazen obviously got the bulk of of the mop-up duty which obviously um if anything were to happen to Kade he'd be the guy we're relying on so clearly you want to get him uh some reps but you know I think I think it was good to see um just to see vizen outside of a spring game right operating within the offense and I like that excuse me I like that they kept operating exactly like Kade was in the game right they didn't change the play calling they didn't get conservative he didn't turn around and hand the ball off 47 times right they just kept in the flow of the same offense that they were doing in the first half with Cade it was just now Vena in there so it was nice to see him in there just kind of running the offense um with with no limitations absolutely um we had a we had a couple super chats during our our little uh um our little Spiel kickoff with another five dollar thank you so much he says Sammy Brown over Kobe McLoud and yeah I one I agree um to hopefully you know Kobe is okay he went down that did not that looked pretty good man did not look good um you know hopefully he's he's back in in in healthy um because that was that was yeah that was uh that didn't look very good I we'll kind of figure out more um you know in in the near future and then Tyler Moore thank you for the $ Five Doll Super Chat he says Cade puts his mouthpiece in on run plays and leaves it out on pass and you know what's funny someone mentioned that um last last week somebody mentioned that last week some somebody mentioned that uh and I made a mental note to like okay I should watch for that and I completely forgot so I need to do I need to do that you know what I thought about it during this game uh because I saw him reached for his mouthpiece and put it in and they did run the ball on that play okay and then after that I forgot to keep watching for it I don't know why uh I'll just blame it on that I'm tired but I really got to like when we go back watch the game we got we got to like ke in on that I got to see if that's because that's s two people that have said it um so there's got to be something to it and I do know the one time that I did watch tonight he did take his mouthpiece out and put it in um or up from his his face mask up here put it in his mouth and it was a run play um so that's something that like man you got to be able to like key in on that like Clemson should they should know that that they they should have already picked that up yeah I mean I I would think that's something that somebody would bring to their attention if that's something that's that's 97 they got 97 coaches in college football right and that that should be an obvious tell too like that that'd be something if if you know a coach knows what they're doing like that's something they would pick up on during film study but I don't know may maybe they're okay with it I don't know but yeah John SAR said uh maybe Kate's playing 40 chess and yeah you know maybe they that is something that they are into listen in college football with especially with everything like maybe they're just trying to set somebody up dude yeah I mean everything that that teams do to kind of get a leg up in in terms of you know I don't want them to know what I'm running or and I want to keep them on their toes like maybe it is an intentional thing and that's something that maybe they want teams to pick up on so that they can you know break those Tendencies um later I don't know it's possible all right said we need to tell dbo D davo was in here uh last night yeah Dabo was in here last night so last night I don't know if he's uh coming back but you know he's probably tired it's been a long day yeah he's probably busy right now he's gota he's got to go talk to the real media not us not us he's going to talk to real media people yeah I don't I don't I don't have my press pass yet yeah we ain't got no press passes we'll we'll get there one day um all right uh I think that's I think that's going to do it in terms of the offense U defensively you know it was okay it was it it was what it was I I think you know your first team defense played really really well you know they didn't really have to there wasn't whole lot of pressure on them and it was 42 to nothing before you could even blink um right and I thought you know you played a lot of young guys they made a lot of mistakes and they you know kind of contributed to the you know the 20 points but obviously I'm not really alarmed by it um in in in any way because you know I picked AB state to score 17 so I thought they would get plays you know get some plays off anyway because again I think they're they are a good offense they have a good quarterback with good you know skill talent and that running back yeah I was just about to say that bro shout out to that that number one what was his name Anderson castle castle yeah bro he was impossible to tackle yo that dude ran over so many of our Clemson players and made them Miss tackles uh it was crazy that dude was look hey shout out to him I mean I I just pulled up his he's six foot 220 so I mean he was a low but he's a local kid too he's from Boon so um yeah he was like man he was he was running over guys like he was a load tonight he he was making some Clemson uh attempts at tackling him uh look silly uh at times yeah even uh our boy Sammy Brown got got got by Castle couple times yeah and and you know Sammy Brown he led the team in tackles today so you know he was a good tackler on the day but even then like if that castle kid yeah he's he's gonna be a problem for teams he's yeah that that's a guy any team would want on their roster because he's just he's tough tough to bring down and he's I mean surprisingly explosive for a guy his size you're if you're playing app State this year you you better be watching Castle dude that dude's gonna make your defense uh not want to tackle come the fourth quarter because yeah he's um Relentless uh I guess is the best way to describe that guy he is Relentless yeah so you know not not too many complaints I I thought you saw a lot of the of the defensive line um stf and green I thought would had had probably the best day um he was just somebody somebody mentioned him in here already talking extremely disrup gonna be a problem and if you know me that that's my guy in the in the 23 class like I I've been beating this green drum forever so that was really really cool to see um you know DBS thought you know a lot of your young guys cut cut their teeth um and you know they had some rough moments you know Brandon stroer had had a couple of you know misses got a couple times he got got a few times to voy Fegan he got a he got a pass interference like he got caught you know he he he tried to say it wasn't but even he didn't believe that was a that was that was very clear he had had him by the arm like yeah you can't do that Shelton Lewis should have had a pick six honestly earlier first quarter yeah yeah why is it DB and not a receiver yeah um you know Terrell just plays with that plays with that same fire he always does I thought he had a nice day um so yeah I thought you you saw some you saw the talent of your young Corners Ashton Hampton man hey you see that dude looking just you see him on the screen and you're just like how is this dude a freshman he don't look like it man he's so like he's so long man like yeah he's his size out there for a corner is he looks crazy yeah he he looks like he he's he has an NFL body like right now like I'm like bro how how like and how how did like he wasn't even like that highly recruited coming out of like I mean it was a Clemson Florida State battle at at the end but man like it's like he like that's a five that's a five star to me the way he looks no yeah for sure I don't know how he was a low low fourar that he's he's good um a lot of young guys though man Ricardo Jones was out there yep Ricardo Jones you had you saw a lot of the your young safeties out there Colin Griffin he had a couple of nice moments couple of rough moments to be expected um shro Koval got a lot Koval he he had shro Koval I thought would played really well especially coming down and tackling like which is something he's always been you know coming out of high school like he's like like that that and I I can't wait to see more of him because he's just had a tough time staying healthy yeah I really liked him before he got injured last year I was really excited about kind of the trajectory that he was on um Dabo even mentioned that he was gonna start the week that he tours ACL yep and then just you know unfortunately that happens and then you go through a whole year rehab and now he's back but it was it was good to see him back out there looks like he's comfortable looks like he's confident in the knee uh no issues there um how about how about our boy Ronin Hanan out there man yeah getting a little play out there at DB yeah that was that was something he um yeah he had a couple of he had a couple of Misses like oh obviously this was a new a new change for him and in high school like he played defense but he played linebacker so you know it was kind of a it was kind of an adjustment like you know obviously at the high at the college level you you know being 61 2118 like that's not it's not ideal linebacker size so you know DB was probably and he's he's a good enough athlete so um you know I it was interesting to kind of see him out there and I I think he played with a lot of enthusiasm I think he's gonna be a really good at it they only switched him over like a month ago so you know he's kind of just out there it wasn't a permanent thing until this it wasn't a permanent thing until this past week like like they had been he had played a couple you he had played a little bit on both sides um throughout the month but like it was they they didn't formally make the change until this week so it was yeah now you know just seeing it'll be cool to see him kind of get more comfortable within the defense um so uh yeah he had a couple of moments where he was just completely out of position but that's to be expected just he's not he has not been playing that position long and and were really ever because again he played linebacker in high school um and so uh it'll be cool to see his progression and uh yeah uh but I I thought you know you saw you saw what we used to see from Clemson teams of old we got to see our young guys come in during these blowout type games and and get in and and make plays make mistakes but you know it was good valuable snaps like that's something that we've been missing yeah um and uh so that was cool to see yeah and I mean the look you could tell when Clemson started Rota their their second and third string uh defensive guys in there obviously AB State definitely started making a lot more plays and and there were mistakes along the defensive side of the ball but at the end of the day man you got to get those those young guys in there I mean you're you're up by like half a million like who cares if AB State scores another touchdown yeah right does that really matter in the grand scheme of things or would you rather get all these young dudes some legitimate snap for pretty much an entire half of football uh and grow those dudes up and and let them get some work and you know also reward them because you can because the score is so lopsided reward them for you know all the stuff all the work they put in and practice and uh in the offseason so I thought it was huge to see all those defensive guys get in there um you know some played a little bit better than others uh but again all of it will will'll pay dividends for Clemson going forward uh and it was exciting to see all of those young guys get out there uh and just kind of empty the bench if you will Clemson hasn't been able to do that in in quite some time yeah absolutely um couple of other you know stand out we already mentioned Sammy Brown led the team of tackles um yeah he's we know he you know how we feel about Sammy Brown he's gonna be a really good football player he's um man Trey big Trey Williams I thought he had a couple of really nice moments um you know he's kind of a you know he's kind of a pseudo starter sort of view him as AAR he had a really good game tonight yeah and he's a guy that has just struggled to stay healthy um so it was good to see him out there and making plays um and then you got to you got to see some of the uh um you got to see some of the Walk-Ons coming in and make plays someone mentioned Levi Matthews coming with that interception on the uh on the bobbled pass like that great concentration to to haul that in he he brought that in basically with one hand um that was cool um you saw some other guys make play Peter ner on on special teams forcing that fumble I I I didn't think I'd be i' I'd say his name like ever yo that's the greatest thing ever and then Dabo in true Dabo fashion like Noah y'all ain't going to take this man's fumble away from him right Bal in the play yeah that that that was that was funny but that was like that kid's probably not gonna recover another fumble in his life yeah um so shout out to dbo for actually challenging that play um and getting him his fumble that he welld deserved um welld deserved fumble um absolutely um special teams um I'm glad you didn't have Phil mafa out there returning kicks really swear if I see Phil moff out there one more time returning kicks yeah I hate it man like don't do that just like he's he's just too valuable to the to the offense man like um and I know I talked about our young running backs and how excited I am um seeing them out there tonight and for the future but no we we need Phil mord for the season we did not need him returning kicks exactly um yeah so uh yeah I thought you know Antonio Williams had a couple of opportunities where I thought he was he might he was going to break one loose uh and just got tackled um yeah but um who who else returned Jay Haynes I think returned one Ronan Hanahan was back there yeah on returns yeah on kick returns uh yeah I think those are the I think those were the guys I think that um and then so thought the punting was better from from Aiden Swanson today and well we didn't really get to see a whole see him do it a whole lot uh in that first half he almost had one like that like that went out right at the it almost went out right at the one but it just crossed so close yelling at that those dudes I was like get down there man like down the football um but you know they didn't make it they didn't no no they didn't but um and then obviously Nolan hoer his only kick uh field goal attempt was uh it was a little bit closer like it it was reminiscent of of Jonathan White's last year in the in the Gator Bowl um swear that that had me stressed out but I was like okay it went in it went in that's that's all I care about we're he's two for two I saw it and I was like well that's not what you want to see but at least he made it yeah so I don't know hopefully we can we could still build some consistency of that position I don't know man yeah I I still don't know how I feel about our kicking game uh but like you said at least he's two for two um it was close but he did make it so you know just gotta keep believing in him and and hope that that confidence builds and that consistency starts uh being where you need it to be because I mean down the stretch like let's face it there's G to be a game somewhere where Clemson needs that kicking game uh it happened last year um several times and sometimes the kicking game was there for us and sometimes it wasn't right um we wouldn't have won the South Carolina game um yeah without the kicking game last year because we couldn't score a touchdown so um we'll see we'll see how it goes absolutely all right um I think that that's gonna do it as far uh before we wrap up uh and go to the comment section let's talk about injuries oh yeah yeah yeah um not really updates because we we don't have I I text dbo but he didn't answer um so I don't got no injury updates for I'm just kidding I don't have D's number but uh couple notable guys went down right Tyler Brown you mentioned he rolled his ankle um and that's why we kind of did not see him for the rest of the game obviously sounds like we're kind of holding him out precautionary U nothing really wrong with him just like hey there's no reason for him to go in it's already 45 to nothing uh who cares right uh Peter Woods pretty scary one man uh reminiscent of Phil mafa what he did to that the the Clemson or the the Clemson the Georgia uh defensive lineman yeah Mikel Williams yeah the the cut block but this this one was a little bit more just that was like part of it seemed like it was part of the design like I like with with Phil like with Phil mafa it was like he was trying to make it was kind of like he was trying to make a play but like Peter Woods like it was a normal and it was it was the offensive line I I can't believe they did not call it like any sort of flag there that and it was a backside block like the play was going the other way like right you didn't have to cut why you yeah why you diving at get in his way all you got to do is get in his way it's a backside block like you don't have to drive him anywhere just get in his way and slow him down and the play's going to be out in front of him and he's not going to catch up to it like right I never I didn't understand that that cut at all uh I think it was ridiculous I think it definitely should have been called um but I did see Peter Woods on the sideline with a knee brace on but he was still in pads he was still you know he's walking around uh he seemed fine excuse me relative to what I could see so um hopefully he's okay we already mentioned um Kobe McLoud hopefully uh he's okay his his leg injury looked like possibly a knee looked a little bit more serious obviously than what Peter Woods was dealing with um so so hopefully he's okay um I don't know that I I recognized any other injuries um to talk about of note uh did you mention Kobe ml yeah KOB M yeah you did his looks you know I don't I don't know yeah that's probably the least Pro ising one yeah as far so hopefully we get hopefully it's it's it it looked worse than it actually is yeah but um yeah you other than that I think you're you're at least you're from your core guys it seems like you're Mo you're GNA be mostly okay and of course it's great to have this by week because you know Marcus Tate gives Marcus Tate time to to get back healthy you're gonna need him definely need him and doubt about it whatever whatever the severity of Peter woods and and and Tyler Brown's injuries are it'll give them plenty of time to to work yeah at least they get an extra week to kind of heal it up get some that soft tissue stuff go into the training room uh let them work their magic uh and get those guys back uh little early to have a bye but everybody gets two by weeks this year so um I think it comes at a pretty good time for Clemson and um you know we'll see see how it goes yes we will all right I think that's going to do it for our thoughts and now we want to hear from you guys turn it to the people yep let's uh let's hang out with the people for a little bit it's getting late so it's it's probably not going to be as long as we we typically like to go but I do want to hit a few because you know that's that's the part of the show that we always we we always look forward to and we always want to try to get to and get your guys's comments and questions and of course if you want to make sure that your comment or question is read the Super Chat feature is available um I have a couple starred already uh Clemson football uh kickoff he says big 90 in reference just to filing green is going to be a problem absolutely man he's he's you know he's he's behind some really talented players right now but you're you're GNA see him get in the game more and more I think's he is a load um and just extreme did you see what he did that offensive linan on that one play like and then and then just like smack the quarterback and the the power that that this this group of defensive tackles has like just the heavy-handedness I think is some of the best that that Clemson has had collectively crazy man it's you already have de Damonte Kart and Peter Woods imagine you're sitting there right and like uh Damonte Kart and and and freaking um what's it name dang we were just talking about him Peter Woods or Trey Williams or Trey Williams yeah so got Damonte Kart and Trey Williams in there just destroying you on every single play and then they rotate out and you're like oh finally yeah and then some freaking dude named stf and green shows up and just absolutely destroys you and throws you back into your quarterback and then basically sacks your quarterback with one hand um it's got to be pretty demoralizing I would assume as an offensive lineman because there's saw their offensive line get get kind of get worn down more guys out there it's just one dude after the next and you're like man where' they get all these people yeah they're especially especially the the two guards in the centers man they're just they're fighting for their life out there yep and that's not even you know that's not even mentioning you know Payton pagee and you we'll see Vic Burley get in there more and more yeah um man this is a a really good defensive line folks I mean but you guys already knew that yeah um see yeah oh people uh Dylan asking about the Tyler venables targeting did did Tyler venol leave his feet he was looking back at the targeting play and didn't think so well it's not even really it's not even necessarily about leaving his feet um he did you know lean with the crown of his helmet um that was targeting so you know just a unfortunate play I don't it wasn't malicious I don't think but yeah it didn't do it on purpose it just it happened to work out that way yeah unfortunate yeah especially unfortunate for him because you know he was going to get a lot of snaps tonight and that got cut pretty short for him yep and so and that mean and because it happened in the second half it means he suspended for the next game so yeah not not great in terms of your safety dep depth but no we we'll we'll see what that you we we'll we'll know more when the game against C State rolls around um uh Clemson football kickoff says Ricardo Jones already got a pick yeah that was that was cool to see that that great awareness by him um on that uh that little double pass that they tried to do uh I love the Avatar uh Clemson football K yeah I just I I just noticed did you just notice which one it was when they were talking about the transfer portal stuff on the broadcast and it was like 235 transfer portal people in the ACC this year and then dabo's over here like garding the door looking like agent like zero no interest that's pretty funny yeah that's funny I like it um see uh John John SAR said never expected the appstate game to get to the point where we learn players names for the first time like ner I actually knew about Peter ner beforehand somehow I'm not gonna lie I did not know Peter n's name before I I did but for funny reasons but I I won't I won't say why um on here but uh I I I was aware of Peter ner beforehand but that I and well I do try to know the most of the Walk-Ons anyway but Peter ner I I I know for pretty funny reasons um oh I missed this dark comment uh David said Cal's number should be 19 see what you did there D yeah I see what you did there man that was good I like that um see people talking about Andrew MBA yeah he had a really good game today uh bald out for Texas bald out for Texas but hey I mean that's that's not a surprise to me we know how talented he is um and you know I think in at Texas you know think they had him playing true safety he looked really good came down played played downhill um he had a lot of opportunities and he was making some really really big plays for them so um always been good at Man attacking down the hill run support so ha happy for him absolutely yeah absolutely uh uh close football yeah huge day for recruit yeah absolutely we had quite a few visitors especially for the 2026 class um yeah definitely a fun day night game in the valley uh with the crowd rocking the way that it was because of the exciting output of the offense yeah definitely turned out to be a really good recruiting day um yeah Noble Johnson got a touch y absolutely uh K kumnick Enthusiast said um where his ttin yeah I saw tin Kelly out there he was he never he didn't get a Target um but they did try I think they did try to run that a little um like they had Kade do a little Sprint out and but he ended up throwing it away um but yeah he was out there he didn't get it he didn't get a Target though um uh David asks can we interview shirro or sail it would take yeah it would take a lot because you have to get to interview current players you you have to get approved and then you have through the Sid like it's a whole process um that'd be and you have to it's hard to get approved from that I know people that that uh do that that do Clemson media for a living that can't get you know some of these players for for interviews so it's you kind of have to know the right people and unfortunately I I don't know enough of the right people I don't think I could try but I don't know any of the right people getting former players I I think is something more more attainable for us so and that's something we definitely want to do in the near future um Tigs asks how much of a change do you think uh we'll have uh in the rankings um probably not not too much um yeah which it I mean I and it shouldn't be much honestly yeah I I I don't think I think the only thing is is like there were a lot of ranked teams that struggled today which makes today you know Clemson's performance you know more of a standout but um I don't think there's going to be a significant jump like I could see Clemson jumping from like like five spots like back like 20 or or 19 um and and I'd have to look at who like how many teams lost I know Iowa lost that that that helps Clemson from a ranking perspective and that was surprising they were like I I completely tuned out of that game when they were up like by by two scores because I did not think with Iowa's defense that Iowa state would come back and win that game um but no way you know Florida state is going to drop out this week yeah yeah they're going to be yeah they're going to be unranked for sure no doubt about it I don't think we'll move up very much I don't think we should move up very much um if you're Clemson just keep taking care of business just keep uh trying to improve that offense right um we we kind of well you know what I think they they had released I think they're already out now that I think about it because they released the AP after Monday so I don't think that that's going to affect it but um what other rank teams lost oh uh not Oklahoma State won Notre Dame lost Notre Dame lost yeah boy will Notre Dame man prayers for will he's he he doesn't deserve this man I truly do feel bad for him I don't feel bad for Notre Dame but I do feel bad for will yeah I I I did not especially with how they played against A&M I was like they looked really good man and the schedule that they had you know set up like a lot of the teams that on left on their schedule did not present the CH much of a challenge especially since Florida state is not what we thought they would be yeah Tigs in here Georgia Tech lost yeah Georgia Tech did lose to Syracuse Syracuse great come on man come on Georgia Tech you had everybody Syracuse is good man I I know they are but likeo B left that roster in better shape than people realize and and you know they brought Kyle McCord has has looked really good through two games so um you still have R Gadson feels like he's been there forever nightmare matchup I know you know you know all about him um you know they they have some uh laquin Allen at running back yeah it seems like Syracuse always has a always has a talented running back they do it's just like their thing yeah they always got at least one that you're like how Syracuse get that dude yeah yeah so Syracuse is gonna be a team to watch I'm kind of glad they're not on the schedule this year um glad we don't have to go up there goodness that place yeah uh Jacob Jacob say yeah it's late but I'm I'm at work right now I'll be here all night yep working the graveyard shift so I'm glad that we're here to you know be that entertainment but yeah we could be of some entertainment value to you uh while you're grinding away um trap says good job Clemson well Clemson says thank you I guess uh Boise State took just took the lead on Oregon Yeah well yeah I knew that Oregon uh was losing you know you know Boise state is three and0 I think all time against Oregon really yeah that's something I don't know what the score is now like organ better stop hey Oregon who's who's been like a consensus top four top five team if they lose that that certainly helps as well um I mean they've struggled a little bit early early this season so yeah surprisingly enough I mean they were obviously preseason picked to be really really good uh obviously 34 it's 34 all um in the fourth quarter I might want to catch the end of that yeah be a good good game to catch the end of organ will probably end up pulling it out I would assume uh but not looking good early for Oregon they look they look like they're uh not firing on all cylinders early in the season but again that could all change as the season goes on um Kansas lost as well yeah they did um Michigan of course losing which that didn't surprise me I just I anybody that thought that Michigan was going to be at that same level with with all the talent they lost from last year and losing their coach Talent it's it's the change in in in coaching and yeah that yeah I know you hired you know shamore Moore and and you know look I know he coached in Harbaugh's absence last year but it's not the same when you're the guy yeah it's just different when you're when you're the guy in charge and everything from a everything from a program infrastructure standpoint and and daytoday operations is it all falls under you it's just very different yeah and it's a big job you know so with a lot of expectations so I I know Michigan not that he won't you know end up being successful but there's there's going to be growing pains right so uh to think you're just going to pick up and be last year's Michigan Team all over again that was never gonna happen they they they they clearly have a quarter first of all they clearly have a quarterback issue I I don't think the the Warren kid is is I don't think they know who their quarterback is yeah and and Alex orgy clearly they don't trust to throw the football so you don't really have a lot of options there it's it's it's a choice between bad and bad right now for Michigan quarterback yeah so and they don't they don't have um that running back ain't running back or ain't ain't you know walking through the door anymore so yeah I mean Donovan Edwards is really Talent is still really really good but he can't carry that load by himself and I thought that their offensive line you know they have a new offensive line they lost a lot of talent from last year like it's a lot of new pieces on that offense and so like people did thought they were just going to go up against a Texas defense with a lot that are just a Texas team that's just flat out more talented from a recruiting standpoint than they are yeah it was I the the that result did not Shock Me I'm at all honest and it honestly could have been a lot worse because it was it was trending that way when it was like 30 to seven I thought I thought Texas might score 50 yeah it looked like it oh uh yeah thanks comment section's reminding us that App State loss too so we forgot the ab State lost yeah good point yeah yeah um trickster says who was the best team you think we will play on our schedule at Louisville I think they thought looked well they they were kind of struggling for a little bit against Jacksonville State but they they really you know put it on them they did in the fourth especially in the third and fourth quarter um so uh I don't know Louisville I guess um toughest team South Carolina look good today um especially defensively I like so I mean we we'll see I'm not convinced that offense is any good but um yeah you know defensively they they are much improved from last year U defensive line really talented Dylan Stewart Luke Canard um not Luke Canard uh that's that's the the guy that played for Duke um why I can't Canard can't or I can't remember his first name um they have really talented defensive tackles like they they they have a really good defensive line this year and they were they've they've shown themselves through two games so I don't know we might we might that South Carolina game might look differently than we thought who knows I know you don't like to hear that but they did look good uh against Kentucky um but again it's Kentucky and I thought Brock Brock Vandergriff played also played ter in that game so you know how much of it was was South Carolina's defense and how much of it was Kentucky flat out just being bad on offense I don't know wait we need more more to see from them yeah whatever South Carolina's terrible I'm gonna default to that I'm gonna default to that with you no they did look better today I don't know they couldn't have looked worse than they did yeah against Old Dominion yeah was they probably should have lost to if we're being honest definitely couldn't have looked worse so yeah they definitely showed Improvement this week we'll see though let's see who else is is look good virgin hey shout out to Tony Elliott two and 0 hey got the win over Wake Forest today one one point win absolutely shout out to our boy Tony Elliott uh came back and got the win um off to a good start in so shout out to him man he's had he's had a rough go there um not just with like on the field stuff and trying to get that program on the right track but you know all the stuff that that happened there and um yeah so yeah shout out to him definitely good to see uh making progress in that yeah Virginia Tech obviously not what we thought um 100% not what anyone thought that were it that that's what makes it so hard like power rating the rest of the schedule is is really difficult because we already because we've talked about Florida State not looking good NC State got just got their door their doors blasted off them by Tennessee tonight yeah um there's just there is not an obvious best team right now on on your schedule um so I don't know which makes it even more imperative that you know1 to 10 dude 51 to1 man 51 to 10 you believe that mall good Lord he's not good he's not that was reminiscent of Clemson last year I was like oh Lord let me turn this off good lord it's gonna rub up on me rub off on me again like oh my gosh freaking ah yeah NC State why do we why do we do this with NC State every year not me personally or or you personally just like in general they just because because they're just they're not terrible enough to to like completely write off but then and so people always are just like oh this might be the year for NC State like they're never truly bad um and and so that's so people just are always and that's the and whenever they have a they do have a a solid year they expect everybody expects them to build on it and that's when they disappoint again and then they kind of and the cycle continues with that program Oklahoma struggled today oh yeah they did they did Oklahoma State struggled today too they almost got beat by Arkansas yeah that was a crazy Arkansas completely gave up that game um yeah that's right Auburn lost a cow that was pyton Thorn Jesus Christ uh H Hugh free I it's a miracle like like it's a miracle that they're recruiting as well as they are Auburn oh man they are so they are so poorly coached it's so bad good Lord that's sad dude that's sad how you lose to Cal I don't know hey shout hey shout out to Cal ACC hey there you go ACC representing out here yeah and uh pit did come back over Cincinnati that was pretty crazy um game field goal they were they were down they were down by like 21 points yeah they were down bad yeah so shout out to Nardi I didn't even know P can make a comeback like that yeah they certainly haven't shown that kind of offensive life other than definitely not down by 21 you might as well just shut it off there no walk but not tonight they they came through uh John says yeah Virginia could beat Maryland next Maryland looks weak this year yeah I think they lost to um to Michigan State today at home so um you know Jonathan Smith over at Michigan that's a brand new coaching staff and Mike loley has been there for a while so um yeah that that is a game I think Virginia absolutely can win um you know Anthony kandria you know in his second year at quarterback for Virginia gonna be a lot of fun yeah uh we got a super chat from from uh Black American maid he says I think Wesco and Moore deserve the majority snaps yeah I mean and I think that's what we've talked about um I think that's what we saw today um yeah you definitely saw a a higher share for them um I still think you need need to have Antonio Williams and Tyler Brown when when he's healthy out there as well um because those are your old I think they bring more on slowly as the year goes on I think his role will increase um as the season goes on right yeah and and obviously still pretty limited yeah offense which is which I'm not too upset but but they did give him opportunities and and obviously the opportunity he did get he scored so you know that's there you go that's all he can ask for right so more incentive to get him out there more so I I I think you will see them plenty um but Wesco yeah he he solidified it he yeah he will be playing quote unquote starter snaps uh from now until he leaves Clemson but yeah I think he he um tied the the record for fewest games to to get to to have an 100 yard game um in in Clemson history obviously just 100 yard quarter forget the game yeah he had like 120 yards in the first quarter yeah or 130 maybe I don't know yeah I don't know what it was pretty nuts whatever it ended up being it was 120 plus uh in one quarter of football basically so um yeah he definitely solidified his spot but um yeah let's not forget about uh Williams and and brown and and those dudes too they they need to be out there those are those are our proven guys um and then Wesco obviously can 100% be trusted and then I think um TJ Moore definitely proved himself tonight too um and his role will keep expanding I think is he becomes more comfortable with the offense I think that's really the only thing holding more back at this point yeah um is just his grasp over the offense I don't think he has the whole offense down right now which is why limited yeah summer guy didn't didn't get the Reps Bryant Wesco had a you know full um spring practice to get ahead of him um so but TJ but they they know that how good TJ is and they I I'm fully confident that he'll be playing regularly um and and be a regular fixture of this offense by the uh by the end of the year so guaranteed too good not to keep up uh not to put on the field way too good all right I I think that's going to do we just hit the hour and a half mark it is 130 we're approaching 130 um I
