yep Arian titas straight out of the blocks with a 400 m freestyle obviously one of your favorite events how did you feel in that heat it looks pretty comfortable yeah I just tried to set up the first three laps um felt good the crowd's firing like I've never probably had a packed house for a heat so this is they like cheering at 200 I was like bro like it's just a heat but um it was fun you know it's good to get out there race Katie again it's always fun racing the best in the world and I'm excited to see what we can do tonight now let's talk about this Olympics compared to the last one Tokyo was a very different experience for us with no crowd in the stands as you mentioned the crowd was electric for a Heat swim I can only imagine what it's going to be like this evening for the for M freey final how are you feeling about that you think that'll get you up yeah you have to use everything around you I think crowds like this get the best out of you and it's not often you get to swim in front of a crowd this big I think this would probably be the biggest crowd I've seen at a swim meet so I'm really excited you have to use it to your advantage and I've got myself in a good position um I'm actually really happy my teammate Jamie's through as well which is really exciting to have two of us in the final so it's just going to be fun um this is what you dream of this is what you train to do so I'm going do the best I can now you've posted some incredibly Fast Times at trials and you've been away with our Australian team on training camps so what adjustments have you made between trials and these Olympics to put you in even better position than you were then I think it's about looking at the data from trials and trying to fine-tune those things so my skills are something I've worked done um but I think more than anything trials for me is like a dress rehearsal for this um so about having your mind on getting your mind ready to go because really at an Olympics there's so much other stuff going around you it's who can keep it together in in the head to that gets out and wins and is on top of the podium absolutely well we're very much looking forward to the final tonight enjoy the race of s we see you after thanks so much and hi everyone at home and we say hi straight back at you how was that line bro it's just a heat with the crowd going crazy
