[Music] hey Browns fans you're not going to believe this one the Cleveland Browns have just made a shocking move cutting former third round pick David Bell after a disappointing start to his [Music] career now let's rewind a bit David B was drafted in 2022 with high hopes he was supposed to bring that spark to our offense the missing piece to push us over the top but things haven't exactly gone according to plan Bell's rookie season was to put it nicely underwhelming he had 24 receptions for just 214 yards and zero touchdowns not exactly what you expect from a third round pick the coaches and fans were patient hoping he'd turn it around in his second year un fortunately he didn't in the preseason Belle struggled to make an impact he dropped passes missed his roots and an inability to separate from Defenders were all too common the writing was on the wall and the Browns front office decided it was time to cut ties this move is a clear message from the Browns perform or pack your bags the NFL is a business and there's no room for C mentality when it comes to building a winning roster but let's be real this isn't just about Belle's performance the Browns have a stacked wide receiver room with the likes of Amari Cooper Jerry Judy and Elijah Moore there's only so much room on the roster and Belle just didn't make the cut remember every spot on the team is precious every player must prove that they can contribute and sadly Bel just didn't measure up so what's next for David Bell well he's still young and there could be another team out there willing to give him a shot sometimes a change of scenery is all it takes but for now his time in Cleveland is over Browns fans what do you think of this move do you agree with the decision to cut David Bell or do you think he deserve more time to develop let me know in the comments below and don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe for more Browns updates thanks for watching and as always go Browns [Music]
