[Music] hi my name is SOA I'm with temple of geek it's very nice to meet you welcome to Toronto thank you have you been to Toronto before yeah I filmed simple favor here oh nice 200 you did yeah so you've done a series of romantic movies in the past what about danela forever was different for you oh my God this one this one like it's a reality Bender it it follows sort of a man who's lost his the love of his life and he has a a chance of bringing you back with um with this this lucid dreaming sort of treatment um and so for me it was it was just such a unique take on something like that yeah I love it um and one of the movies that you've done in the past last Christmas also had a bit of like sci-fi fantasy element to it um what is it about these sorts of stories that draws you to them I I just love the creativity I think we should like tell stories that take people away from reality sometimes it doesn't always have to be base squarely we can kind of Bend reality um and it just becomes kind of magical you know it becomes sort of playful a it a I think that's why I really enjoy sci-fi it's my favorite genre um what do you think of the recent um Asian Excellency Renaissance that we're seeing in the industry right now unbeatable it's awesome yeah we we've been really lucky like everybody's been creating writing directing acting um singing so I think I think we're getting to that that stage where it's it's almost a a Level Playing Field it's always going to be a a work in progress but uh we got to keep going through with that and I've seen some um Asian actors create their own uh production or their own Studios um their own Production Studios what are your thoughts on that I it's amazing the more the more the marrier I think um like they say like all Tides like raise ships I don't know the same but like if someone succeeds they bring the rest of everybody up with them so I love it sh cool thank you so much [Music]
