TJ Finley named WKU's starting quarterback

it's officially go time as the hill topper football team will endure last minute preparations ahead of game one against the Alabama Crimson Tide one of the biggest questions throughout the summer and fall Camp was who was going to be the quarterback that runs out to lead the tops offense to start the season Western Kentucky football head coach Tyson Hilton announced in Monday's press conference that TJ Finley will be the starter when the offense takes the field Finley came to the hill as a transfer from Texas State but has sec experience from previous stops at Auburn and LSU hton explained that this decision could have gone either way and there still is potential to see Kaden Bel Camp take the field at some point throughout the matchup you know TJ will run out there first but what I've told both quarterbacks is they both need to be ready to play um we'll see how the game goes I felt like in Camp either one of those men were deserving of being the starter um you could a coin to be quite honest with you yeah but somebody has to run out there first so TJ will run out there first the tops are said to kick off at Bryant Denny Stadium on Saturday at 6 pm on ESPN
