um well I just got information or at least I was told there was a some hugging going on in here or it's funny story yes I actually want to get with you after this one um it's funny because my wife actually just told me like last week and I can't remember the reason why but she was telling me that it's it's good to get eight hugs a day um so I've been trying to get eight hugs a day so I've been randomly hugging people around the office so I'll get with you after this Matt um um but just looking at the game overall uh big big big win for us hopeing we're able to to capture that momentum and use it moving forward as we on a short week tough division game uh going on the road uh especially kind of look at how how the turn I went for us last year uh to kind of cap off the season really um so there's a little bit of a pit of in our stomach still sitting there based of our performance for how we did play last year uh in Green Bay and so with that we look to find a to build off the momentum that we did capture Monday night huge wind unbelievable atmosphere and the biggest brightest lights and guys showed up and were able to make an impact and find a way to win that football game when it came to U calling for fair catch on the the kickoff was that because it was kind of one of those popup Corner ticks yeah that was just kind of um like a game plan deal really that we kind of had in place uh but it did have some good Hang Time on it right there um so it was just little gam plan thing that we kind of had going on game within the game Matt uh Gregs had a few Miss wide right has there been anything maybe mechanical or something that you picked up on yeah well typically a majority of Greg's misses tend to be missing it right uh I mean I probably I would want to say all of them but a good majority of them and you know it's it's a little bit of a a mechanical thing just kind of with his plant fot and make sure he's following through uh but the extra point he just kind of towed that one and didn't and really didn't get a full hold on it uh with his ankle lock there and so he kind of towed it we kind which resulted in in resulted in in him pushing it right uh there and then you know I thought the 50 yard ball was really a good strike it felt good off the foot and it just kind of leaked on him right there uh but you know we we had a great talk uh Me Myself and Greg did about you know what the expectations are who he is as a player um you know how we expect him perform and in those moments you know those are got to have it type moments right there he understands and knows that and expects that from himself um and you so with that you know the defense find a way to help us out and make a play at the end of the game there uh but you would love for us to make that field goal there make it a eight-point game and make it even tougher for San FR to find a way to win that thing there you typical typically talk to him week to week or was that just a moment that you oh yeah every yeah every week no every week Kev uh Greg always come comes in after the games on on Mondays or even Tuesdays rather usually when we have those conversations usually it's Monday afternoons after all the players are gone uh GRE come in just kind of have a review of the game uh watch the tape uh review it you know what went good what went well what didn't feel so good and so with that with that we're kind of able to adjust and make Corrections and move forward but uh you know he he has a pit in his stomach and he's he's looking at this as a great opportunity for a bounce back for him you know he 7 to n on the year uh two misses being from 57 and then 50 yard Monday night so he's having a great year so far and uh you know you just see this as an opportunity to to how can we respond the right way and I know Greg would do that you m with d taking a seat this last week how' you feel the change of Gunner went uh I thought the change of Gunner was good uh you know we got a a good young group of Gunners uh that I'm very confident in and Coach DG does a great job of working with those guys um you know we had can in there along with Jay Ward uh but you know at the end of the day those guys do a great job of work releases playing fast taking their shots and you know it's a tough position to play especially when you know you haven't had many reps at it and and you're a young court group but I feel great about that group uh of Gunners that we got there and you know we look forward to it got an unbelievable opportunity ahead of us uh with Jay Reid and Kaa Nixon back there at returner and so it'll be it'll be great for those young guys to get out and get to it even though can can didn't have like a ton of opportunities how good was it just to sort of get his it was great it was great and uh you know it's there's always you know that feeling that when the ball gets kicked off and can catches it and and does return it there's a blocker return a relationship there that you know firm belief that it's going to go to distance and so it was great to get him back there to get his feet back wet uh you know he hasn't played football in over almost a year now with no preseason and really kind of missed OTAs and training camp and so you know there's a little bit of nerves there but a lot of excitement to get him back out there and uh you know with that we'll get back into the swing of things what type of uh challenges does Lambo Fields present on special teams I think the biggest thing is is the footing uh you know last year you looked at it there a lot of guys on the ground slipping uh especially when you start talking about trying to set up for blocks uh you know you working at high speeds trying to flip your hips uh be well rooted and grounded uh so we got to make sure we got the right cleats out there and you know kind of looking at the weather forast it's supposed to be a little rain in the morning we're going to get blessed with about 40° which is really really good it should be a great day overall and so we just got to make sure that we got the right right Footwear on at the end of the day uh you know the weather affect the cold affect the how far the ball will travel maybe there'll be a little bit of wind expecting 5 to 10 m hour wind which really shouldn't affect us too much from a punting and kicking standpoint uh so we just got to make sure the foot we have the right footing at the end of the day so we can eliminate and sliping and falling and that being the reason why we we we don't execute cool appreciate y'all
