and you know what you've seen in college football uh for me just kind of trying to give my experience to other people that may not have as much just um trying to grow people and raise people day by day as much as you can in off SE I know at rille I think they mentioned it was an injury you had coming here what was that uh no it it was just little Nicks and I bruis I'm all good though good you're clear to play for sure terrific and just this is this whole uh experience of being at different places what what's it been like it probably tumultuous a little bit the last season this journey know no it's been a great experience just being able to be around different people but uh I'm just glad to be here and be focused what what lured you to Miami what what sold you on it uh just the opportunity to work with the guys in D line room um obviously coach Chris Ball coach Taylor Coach G so um yeah just a great cast around I think it's just something that fits who I am as a person and who I want to be as a player and with Jason Taylor what what did he say was it something obviously in being an all pro player that made you want to play with him be coached by him uh yeah I mean this not necessar one thing he said but just the experience in itself being able to be around a guy like that and um just kind of pick his brain every day all day just um how I can better myself as a player and as a man it was it was kind of like uh uh like maybe two weeks or so since you officially visited Miami uh until your decision until you made your decision uh can you kind of take me through what you were trying to decide on in that time frame uh really for me it was just coming to peace with my decision um didn't really want to rush R anything didn't feel like I had to necessarily so just having great conversation with the coaches and just getting more comfortable with them I think that's where really did it a lot of Talent on this defensive line how would you assess it just playing in the SEC and playing against SEC opponents how would you assess this defensive uh no I think uh coming from the SEC where I was at the previous place I mean it was a really talented group there and um just coming here and playing with the same level of talent I think that's the thing that lured me to it the most and what do you bring uh to this defensive line in your mind sure uh I think I bring a ton of experience I think I bring a well-rounded player um a great leader I think I can be a great teammate as well so just all those things together I think that's going to be the big thing for me just being a piece of this puzzle we seen guys get into the portal find a new place and then leave after the spring what was it about Louisville that didn't work out for you and why ultimately did you find Miami uh no nothing against those guys I mean it was a great place there um just thought that Miami was a better fit for who I am as a person as a player and I'm just excited to be here really excited and and I know you were dealing with a shoulder in the past how did you how's your recovery been from that uh it's been great um I'm cleared to do everything participa in everything uh decided to get into Camp when did you get cleared and I guess what did you have to sort of overcome can you prescribe yeah oh I mean uh just through early in the summer it was cleared um and then just maintaining and just getting stronger and just getting more stable through the past couple weeks just been a really big for me and um the training staff here has done a really good job with that and when was the injury was it n joint and when when did it happen during this Seas Tennesse yeah it happened over the past year okay you sir okay thank you
