kind of like yeah you know what yeah it's football season so let's let's get work this is gonna be the norm for us throughout the season you know this is going to be what we'll be doing every every week we'll have a preview show and then a um and then a recap show so it should be interesting yeah and and then maybe a bonus one every once in a while if we get some good on but you never do but anyway uh like comment subscribe um and then with that we get into it so we got Jets at Titans game preview which should be interesting so just to kind of give you guys the the ball on what's going on with that game right jets are favored three and a half points the overunderish 41 and a half and tickets are as low as $36 for this game I have no idea if that and those lines are via Caesar I want to say or yes sorry um which is Caesar um but basically uh Titans are [ __ ] bad right and I feel like this line should be way bigger had the Jets maybe did a little bit better in the first game uh in terms of result right right um I I mean I I slamming the Jets on this one right of course yeah a parlay that's good I think it's the over on the jet points and that which I think was 22 I could be wrong and then the uh spread right that's my parlay anyway uh let's preview the game uh what do we think about this game add on go ahead had a lot to say so yeah I am I'm not gonna lie I am not resting easy going into this game you know I know that everyone looks at the Titans and says well this is a team the Jets should roll no worries about the Niners game because the schedule is is a a cupcake schedule coming up four really really winnable games you look at this Titans team and we know what the Jets have to do first of all right we need a better showing from the run defense we need a better showing from the Run game in the offense we need to see hackit get a little bit more you know unpredictable with his play calling it can't be run run Rogers Bellas out on Third and long right so all of these things we know what the Jets need to do but one of the things that does worry me about this game is that the way the Titans are built is they do have the ability to exploit the things that went wrong in the biggest way on Monday night if you look at their defensive line Jeffrey Simmons is a game wrecker at defensive tackles tandre sweat is 366 pounds second round rookie out of Texas who had a great first game of the season on Sunday against the Bears right those two guys you know on the inside against this new Jets offensive line that does give me some some hesitancy there because as we know all quarterbacks but especially older quarterbacks they don't want pressure right in their face you know and if they can get a push up the middle that can impact Aaron Rodgers and that is a concern for me because you know this team wasn't great on the offensive line when it came to running the ball pass the pass game was okay but now you're looking at an interior wall and how they react to that is going to be kind of the key to the game for me on the other side of the ball say what you want about the Titans passing game will Levis they were able to run the ball against the Bears right and Bill Callahan is the Bears offensive line coach right I know his son is the head coach his son is a first year coach you know this is his second game coaching but Callahan coaches the offensive line line up and they were able to run the ball against the Bears right so kind of they're two strengths match up with the two biggest weaknesses we saw from the Jets and I think after the way the Titans saw Will Levis play when they asked him to really throw the ball coupled with what they saw the Niners do to the Jets this team better be buttoned up in the front seven on defense or it's going to be a really long day so I know that we all looked at this game as a Gimme no worries I don't think it's as big of a gimme as people think you know and I would be wary going into this game because the Titans aren't interesting team so I would caution anybody who's going to be watching this game don't expect this to be a 313 win you know I'd be surprised if it was expect for this to be an ugly win 2421 2117 you know it could be in doubt going into the fourth quarter but I'm gonna caution that this is this is not the Cakewalk that people think it is I I think it's uh I think it's 28 uh 17 uh game or I think that's that's kind of you know where it's got to be at or 27 something like that 17 basically about a about a score and a field goal difference between the two because it has to be right um and I get and I agree with a lot of what you were saying or most of what you're saying if not all of it um you know uh another thing I like to add is you know they've got Taj Spears and they've got Tony Pard Tony Pard can be very elusive um you know Shifty and the Niners proved that with a good enough push up front and good enough scheme you don't even really need like a Derrik Henry or a you know uh someone like that to to break through our our line you know you can you can get through with you know with uh just a good enough plan so someone like toly Pard I'm pretty sure is a lot better than Jordan Mason um uh on the uh on on the ners so I think he has the talent to to kind of be Havoc for us if he's used properly they also have a lot of passing weapons you know they got Hopkins they got Boyd they got okono who had a great game last game uh and then they have Calvin Ridley who was no slouch you know the guys a great game last week with two catches 15 yards and a touchdown that's your standard okay I mean better than most uh tight ends look at like look at the tight ends last week there's five touchdowns scored by all of the tight ends in football last week well that's a great game okay fa enough it's a great that's a great game for him and yeah that's a good game for him um but 17 yards in the touchdown and he lost two yards in his other catch but okay yeah well like I said they got they got they've got the they've got enough weapons they've got a lot going on you know to where they can kind of get the ball you know moving if they need to uh they have the weapons they need what the Jets need to do the Jets need to visibly outclass the titans this what these are the things I want to see we need to visibly outclass the Titans we should at least outclass the Titans by the amount that the 49ers outclassed us I think that if we are who we say we are if we are who we think we are then that should be what happens yeah that that should be what happens I mean straight up you know we lost you know pretty badly they should lose pretty badly against us we should be willing ready to take out our wrath all of our frustrations on this on this Titans team so they should be you know they should be our punching back now uh we need to get consistent pressure on on Levis before and after halftime adjustments the dline just in general needs to be better I want I want at least some legitimate sacks not some Michael Clemens running unblocked on a busted play and getting a sack by luck I want like a guy beating another guy and then sacking you know will Levis you know will Levis should look like freaking Zack Wilson looked like last year that's what will Lis should look like because he's not good all right you put a little pressure on him put a little heat on him he's turnover prone he makes mistakes when he's rattled you know just like Jermain Johnson said not good all right so I I want him I I want him hurting you know um we need to cut down on the Run yards allowed as adinon mentioned um and we need to have someone else other than Bree and Garrett involved we need to continue that uh whether it's Conlin pref preferably it's Mike Williams uh or even Brin Allen Corley Lazard whatever uh if we can get that if we can't get someone else going we're g to be dead in the water later in the season uh Bree needs to play better um you know straight up that's it you know or if he's not gonna if he's not playing well we need to identify that and switch it up to brillan Allen let him just Smash It Up the middle for however many quarters it takes until that defensive lines a little more you know uh um a little more broken in and then we can kind of do something against them um and we need to force a damn turnover like I'm sick of this [ __ ] like we are supposedly top three top one top five whatever defense in the league we can't force a damn turnover we need to force turnovers we need to be making mistakes we need to be getting sacks fumbles interceptions whatever it is we need turnovers um and just bottom line coaching here this is the perfect opportunity for our coaches to show that uh if they've learned anything and they know how to adjust because the 49ers exposed the [ __ ] out of us and they expose the fact that we have a susceptibility to the run with our the way our scheme is and uh other teams have definitely taking notes on that so this is to me a non-negotiable win if we lose this game I think Salah and hacket need to be immediately considered for termination um coaching is a visible visible weakness on this team is you know in my opinion um and it has been for some time so you know now is the time for us to get a solid decisive win so I think that's going to be what happens because it has to okay I can't believe a conqua was a [ __ ] amazing game for a tight end I didn't say amazing I said a great game and he did have a great game and that was a great game for a tight end last week it was look at all the tight end stats all right I'm not gonna say I'm not going to try and not Harper on anything you guys said I'm just going to talk about the tight and what I know of the Titans right last year was one of the uh these last couple years they've been one of the worst old lines in football okay uh big Mayo as I call him well love it I could say that because I'm the white guy on the show um basically you know he looked disastrous last week right and you know everything I mean that interception was God awful but you know I mean you have those weapons and the Bears yeah know I mean that defense is it's decent it's not anything special and they made them look really bad right um so like yeah they get pressure okay so there's that but you know as far as their their receivers and they have four that are of significance I'm gonna include Burks in there who was a first rounder regardless right um they didn't do [ __ ] last week right and they're not gonna do [ __ ] on these Corners right um they're not the physical offense that the Niners are on that side of the ball right all right so that I'm going to just say about the offense the J defense which by the way hasn't really done any tackling since January right so last week I'll give him a little bit of a pass because it's still the Jets defense right and still 90% of the starters were back right the only ones that you're missing are Franklin Myers and Hoff and obviously U you know so I'm GNA give them a little bit of a pass on it if they [ __ ] fail again then yeah I'm concerned the uh defense of the Titans they don't yeah they're good in the interior but I didn't really I didn't really think there were anything special on the exterior I forgot if it was Landry on the outside right yeah Landry is their Edge rusher right that they paid a lot and he hasn't really done a whole I guess he got a sack last week yeah he did get a sack last week so all right um but you know the Bears are also a work in progress offensive line too right so like you know I'm not I'm just saying like you don't think that Rogers is gonna be smart enough to handle that defense and let again let alone again right this is not Mike Vel Tennessee Titans right which because Mike Vel Tennessee Titans doesn't give up that lead to the Bears and a rookie quarterback last week who can't [ __ ] throw a touchdown right um two special teams defensive touchdowns right so number yeah like that doesn't happen to uh Mike Rael that happens to a rookie head coach right and this is you know more polished experienc Jets team I would even say even and especially with that Rogers dude running the show I'm just going to say it right now if they lose yeah you're absolutely right everyone should be on the high beyond belief because this is this should be a gimme game I think they're going to bounce back uh they probably no they got very humbled last week and they're gonna [ __ ] show it this week and it's also not a national Spotlight game so hopefully that does help a little bit right maybe with some nerves right um defense did come out hot last week you know I mean they they went two three and outs you know un fortunately one had to go for a field goal because of a turnover but they did come out hot and then the defense was able to start I mean the offense sorry got a drive going but they just couldn't get momentum right uh because they were just not on the field long enough so I mean I think things are going to go a little bit differently in this game right um but that's that's that's what I say um is that fair yeah I think that's fair I mean um you know I get I get where Adon was was coming from where you know these guys might be not as you know of much of a pushover as you one would thinkl nothing's a EXA exactly but still with with our with you know with our level of talent this should not be be a team that we struggle with yeah I mean if you're going to do this position by position section right quarterback you take a US running back you take a US receiver you might give it to them because they have so much depth there tight end I'd say it's a wash despite that amazing game that they're tight they tight end uh blocking you're G to give it to us right uh defensive line I would probably still give it to us even though they got the interior pretty locked down right but um it's close it's close right linebackers giving to us secondary give it to us special teams [ __ ] it I'm G to give it to us because Greg BL and Tom more said the mustache is [ __ ] amazing so so what um what I would say is listen yeah I agree right player for player the Jets roster is infinitely more talented than the Titans off than the Titans roster right we can do you know draft pedigree we can do veterans we can do future Hall of Famers the Jets have them beaten pretty much you know all of those areas when it comes player for player on the wrester right but where my again my caution comes from is look right now the best coach in this game is Bill Callahan the Raiders offensive line coach right and I just I don't know man he's made a career of turning dog [ __ ] offensive lines into very good ones and I just don't want the Jets to come out and take anything for granted start off slow you know those are like you said mon this needs to be a game where you come out and you impose your will right and I'm G to be very annoyed if in the first quarter they're down 73 and the Titans are pushing them around right that should not happen so they have to get it together otherwise when we do our rec cap next week I'm going to be you know it's not going to be good things for me right and I think you said it I also don't want to see a 17713 sloppy win right right like they have to come out even if they win 217 2420 like it's got to be a game where you were in control the whole time and you left no doubt and I hope they can do that because I'm getting tired of waiting for Quality football right we paid our dues as fans we deserve it now I PID for I want to see it on Saturday on Sunday exactly exactly okay cool all right cool so we all have the Jets winning this game right yeah some say it's closer than others I think they're gonna [ __ ] win by 10 yeah so first time all season even though it's game two we all are in agreement this is is definitely a Jets win I thought we all kind of agreed when we did the preseason uh thing they were we're all going to lose that first game oh no I thought you no ad Adon predicted a win I thought you predicted a win but you were you were kind of like screw it yeah I was like screw it yeah but like when we did like the season schedule we were like lost right right yeah yeah I I definitely we got we got we got we got we got uh honey honey potted basically based on the preseason and all right but but Titans I think we all AG she's a great girl you know like you know but yeah for a good family yeah and then next next thing you know she keep the your car yeah your your clth on the no big deal yeah okay fair enough all right so let's talk about the elephant in the room why not Red X agent and Douglas are talking great um but just fine I mean um I don't know if they if they kind of do their thing um I'm not so worried about it right um um but that's just kind of me at this point right so I'm gonna say you know I I've had we've had a few days since the since the Monday night game and had a chance to like digest you know everything that happened kind of everything that we talked about listening to podcast talk radio right all the things that that um you know we've had exposure to and I'm going to be honest man I'm starting to come around to Monty's side on this in terms of you know maybe they don't need him against the Titans but against a team like the ners you need all the blue CHP players you can have that's and we saw on Monday that without without a blue chip pass rusher I don't know man I don't know how you're going to beat these teams if you don't have one guy that can be like don't worry about it I'll go get the quarterback right and so I think the tough thing about having what people call a cupcake schedule is like it may not show for the next few weeks you know but if it shows against Buffalo and it showed against the ners then you're kind of like H and now it's week five week six right if you look at last year same thing happened with Chris Jones but after two weeks the chiefs were like we got to get this guy in because we lost week one weren't great week two got to get him in so I don't want the Jets to get compl it and be like week one was an aberration we don't really need him until you get into the thick of the schedule then he comes back week seven needs three weeks to ramp up you know so I think it is becoming more of a problem right I would just say this I mean Germaine and quinnon didn't have great good games by any measure last week oh McDonald like no one on that dline had could set you could hold your head up and said they had a good game right so like I don't think that's going to happen again with all of them right so like and if that's the if let's just say two of them show up like to their normal level and like other ones like okay then like you got a dine that should do damage to Big Mayo yeah sure I think good but just I think it's a function of you know I think last game was a little bit of a function of the the Niners are great obviously but I think it was a function of not having that person that you got to have check for on all kind of sides you know what I mean because that's what we had last year you know you had John Franklin Meers when he wasn't there you had Bryce Huff when he wasn't there you had Germaine and then you're swapping all these guys Quinton Jefferson so you know what I mean and they had they had games when the the whole unit didn't show up I mean there was the Cowboy game Dolphins game in the yeah the cowo they didn't show up either so yeah of course there's GNA be games where they don't show up I get it but I'm just saying I think that that's a less of a blow if you have someone like like reic that hold on I'm gonna I'm going to stop us right here this is a super bowler bust season there can't be a game when they don't show up had the same [ __ ] last year I mean they lost like what three or four out of five but you know what I love Aaron roders they have Patrick Mahomes you can't compare anyone to Kansas City because Patrick Mahomes covers up all of their all right what about the Niners losing at home to the Ravens on Monday night last year right at the end of the season the Ravens are great right and this is and this is great you know doing the counter AR here right I agree I want them to [ __ ] show up every [ __ ] day I want them to [ __ ] slit everyone's [ __ ] throats like are you not entertained you know right there I want that every time my point I get it but my point is that the teams that you're referencing are teams that have been to the Super Bowl won the Super Bowl we the Jets haven't made the playoffs in 13 years so that should we is it Super Bowl expectation on a team that hasn't been to the playoffs in 13 years I mean the way they're built yeah the way they're built and what the way because the way that this came about is it took us three years to get here right right like we've been we've we've been delayed gratification giving Salah a chance giving Joe Douglas a chance giving all these these giving the team a chance like other teams would have been fired uh Salah and ug by now and and we're and and we're being told by everybody quarterback what this is quarterback away quarterback away and we away and then we got the quarterback now we have the quarterback so I don't want to hear it I or shut up okay okay so so so the last thing I wanted to just you know say was that this is great because it's as I've been saying the whole time this this me no no this mentality of uh you don't negotiate with ter IST essentially it just it was stupid it was childish it was petty and it just it didn't need to be what we had to do like Joe Douglas should have called a while ago back when we were still you know before the season and said all right look you know I get it but we're not offering you a deal but here's everything what it is this whole oh he has to show up or we're not even going to talk to you that's [ __ ] that's childish it's Petty should have never happened I get the feeling behind that and I get them thinking that that was going to you know may but then you know now that we now that we've seen you know what's going on with the defensive line now we've seen kind of us at our you know at our exposed worst um you know we need to do everything we can to get this guy in I'm glad that Joe Douglas you know sucked us sucked up and you know you know just took it like a man and walked up and you know made you know if he made the first move I don't know what happened but I'm just glad they're talking and making some progress because that's all we need and we need reic out there period all right fair enough anyway from that I guess I'm just gonna go to final thoughts and it was really nice and cute at the 25th minute so I can remember the time stamps okay yeah man um Adon you can go for it Bud yeah I think look I mean it I find it really interesting how after one game a lot of tunes change right like after one game yeah they don't have Ric in but now a phone call was B you know now a conversation is happening right like after one game were looking at this and saying we need to see more right as fans going into this season we were on cloud nine right we were Coast ready to rock you know and it's interesting right how quickly things can change especially in the NFL you know and I think that when we look at this this jet team I love them but they haven't earned the right for gimme games they haven't earned the right for us to say 313 they're going to be four- one going into the Buffalo game right they have to earn it every week and that's what we have to expect of them that's the standard we have to hold them to and you know there were some great moments Monday night right watching Rogers watching Garrett watching Lazard watching some of these throws there were some fun moments and now we need to see that replicated I think we but you know this is just it's crazy that week two is kind of an infection point right because a loss and I don't know what we're going to be saying on you know our next recording or what our group chat is going to look like at four o'clock on Sunday afternoon so I'm excited for this one Think They Come Away with a win but let's you know let's see something from this too yep go ahead Monty yep uh actually uh John you said it last week um you know it's a week by week uh you know take it one week at a time thing I think that this is the perfect opportunity to start doing that and so this first week is the Titans and the Jets need to put their all and their intensity and everything into this this should be a win they the Titans realistically in my opinion shouldn't really be scoring more than 14 points if we're being serious I I really don't think they should if if the Jets are who we think they are who we know they can be based on this roster and based on this quarterback then uh you know there's no excuses we should come out smash these [ __ ] Titans they're not on our level they shouldn't be on our level and I just want to see an ass whooping from from from from whistle to to final whistle and uh you know that's all I got to say about that can't wait to see it cool uh just to reiterate on my final thoughts there's a couple people on the injury report but they're this is questionable and they vog limited practices those are DJ Reed Michael Clemens and Michael Carter II but they're all listed is limited in practice and all that and then Titans they got an injury report list including Peter sponsky so okay that'll be interesting there and they got a bunch of guys that are out too but anyway um yeah they should just [ __ ] win this game [ __ ] win the game so we have something happy to [ __ ] talk about that's actually real right versus like you know everything that was leaning up the off with the offseason which is things but they're not real like real being wins which is what we're really [ __ ] doing this [ __ ] podcast where so we can win and [ __ ] be like yeah [ __ ] yeah [ __ ] the Dolphins [ __ ] you know all that [ __ ] um we just need that uh it'd be nice to have a win another one in 2024 since we had one at the end of last the beginning of last you know beginning of this calendar year end of last season right um but yeah I mean we'll see what happens and then we get our G our home game which the three of us will attend with my buddy Max um you guys will meet him we'll bring a grill we'll probably hang out with Carlos who also sits in our section our section is 38 row 19 you will see us if you want to come to the game and say hey come save us up yeah come save us up and also say when you say see us [ __ ] the Patriots [ __ ] the Dolphins [ __ ] the bills go Jets actually just start saying that and that'll be good enough for us to know that you watch the show hell
