[Music] how much fun is it you know you want to win it any any time of year but this time of year you know what's on the line a game like this how how much fun was that it was a lot of fun um grinder game too I mean from both sides I mean it was just kind of from the jump um it's kind of one of those dog fight games you know we're we're kind of deep into the season we're into August um and I mean it was kind of tit fortat the entire game this uh this game and then this series kind of after you guys get the Riley news how much has this week shown kind of the medal of this team and not folding yeah I mean I I would I would even argue that it's been kind of the full season I I heard something the other day the only the only game our opening day lineup played in together was opening day so um it just it kind of seems like one thing after the other but um you you look at the group that we have the leadership that we have um the staff that we have um you know overcoming those things when you're resilient and and you have the group that we have uh becomes a little bit easier but um you know those are always tough blows but you know getting over that when we have this kind of group is it helps what's been like watching igy do this here for a month now it's been awesome um you know you just you almost just kind of get lost in it and and you almost just come to expect it now but um you know who he is the routine he has um I mean it's I would say it's surprising but it's really not I mean you look at what he's done um you know just with the command of his pitches he you know he he I'm almost sure he could be a starter you know with with you know the Arsenal he has multiple pitches the amount of strikes he throws um and he's he's not afraid to drop down to 98 you know from down here too so um it's it's been incredible it's been I mean our entire Bullpen has been amazing but to have at the at the back end is is uh is awesome obviously you saw our shella when you were in Boston you know pretty close up what do that guy bring to a ball club and just the way he's impacted it even in four days here that was a that was a huge pickup for us um he's a hell of a ball player I mean on both sides um you know getting to know him a little bit um and obviously playing against him a lot so uh that I I thought that was a huge pickup and just being able to have a guy like that you know fill in um what he does defensively is amazing and and he's not afraid to swing it either how' you feel tonight I that fourth I think you kind of could have been out of it but you kind of did what you could to to limit damage and then get through S there yeah it was just like I said it was just kind of a grind you know they they were they were giving me everything I could handle uh seemed like they were they were aggressive um at times and then you know got into a lot of I felt like I got into a few full counts um I just I never really found a rhythm of the game but was always kind of trying to find a way to limit the damage there's a lot of traffic you know guys are running a lot so um you know I obviously relied on my defense a lot which was which was great and uh you know pulled it up pulled it away at the end thank you no questions for the new guy no we'll take care [Music] of you talk a lot about team wins you don't really know where to start with that one so many guys seem to to contrib what let's just focus on igy again it's amazing what he's doing um efficiency the situations I mean he did the same thing on the road which is almost impossible to do um and I I got to say he's he's probably the greatest team player I've ever been around um and this run he's on is amazing what he's doing how efficient you know stuff is just so good um the slider I think it's been a big really big pitch for him he's a you know three- pitch closer and um yeah it's just it's been just phenomenal what he's done what about just the way you've set this thing up by getting these guys extra rest earlier in the season that you can use him multiple times in a month like that yeah no and we talked to them about that early in the year when they wanted to do this it's like there's going come you know when it happens every year there comes a point in the season when we might have to go three in a row and do stuff out of the box that we've done and that that's why I think that's why we for the first four and a half months or so that we're very cognizant of that because we know coming down the end um you know it's it's gets hairy and you may have to do that and I think they're just just like the starters you know we're going to you got to go five now you know it's kind of go time and and actually I think they've all thrown better quite honestly can you expand on what makes it such a good teamate he doesn't care he's like a lot of these closers are divas and he's the exact opposite to that I said when he doesn't matter if he gets to save how many runs or when I and I've said this when if he gets that last out of the game and he comes off the field he's the happiest guy going because we won the game it's not about him his numbers you know what and when you're like that the numbers take care of themselves um but he he's just been always ready to pitch he's ready to go above and beyond all the time he comes in here every day with a smile consistent his work how he PR um prepares just a great teammate I just to know that you can send s out there basically every time no one he's going to go seven now yeah I mean it's he's going to grind through that when he gets in trouble whether it's you know early whatever I mean he's over there he's got that extra gear that he can call on anytime he wants Michael has that speed um for a short stop how much does that maybe affect the no if you're right if it's a hard 90 you can Rush guys into what you saw happen tonight and I saw the replay and Michael was busting it down there and they talk about that in the pregame meeting um you know so I think that's huge on for teams and they know that and you know that's I say I can't remember the last time we benefited from an air you said you like the way he's swinging then that's couple homers against left yeah no it's it's been really good um so yeah I mean I it's it's kind of it helps our lineup if he can lead off quite honestly what have you seen from Orlando this home state I mean homework earlier and goes the other way to time the game sa that's good he just he's been you know for a long time now after the second half he's been you know a lot better than he was I mean it wasn't very good um early on and he's kind of red himself and um he's got short memory you know he kind of just stays in The Daily Grind anything else okay thanks [Music]
