ALABAMA POST-GAME AFTER WESTERN KENTUCKY GAME

n [Music] en roll time the clock is still tick tick talking TI still rolling and rocking we are all in for the tide welcome to tight Sports host game I made it I I I tried to take several naps today and I you know to no avail what did you think what did you think of our new team to come out rocking and rolling definitely covered the spread I had this game 479 because I didn't know how clean it was going to be on defense on defense I thought the offense was gonna be Flawless wrong wrong defense was spectacular against Western Kentucky but spectacular nonetheless I mean I remember telling someone several times that Keon sa is a champion huh two picks in the first half really two life saving picks in the first half Ryan Williams Ryan Williams I don't know what he's going to take to stay here for him to stay at Universal Alabama I was thinking like man we're gonna lose him no we're not no we're not We're not gonna lose him hey somebody go ahead and order the Ferrari hey man man is was incredible incredible debt you hear me incredible Deb butt two touchdowns today of over 40 yards one was a 84 y if I'm not mistaken I'mma go deeper into the stats during our show around the herd what I was talking about it was rough I I you know I'm calling like a c we got to fix it gotta fix it gotta fix it by next week what was that uh first of all whoever the IT guy is the onfield IT guy that's one onfield it guy the guy with the headset we're not doing this bill bellich Che thing man I'm sorry this thing that's just so happened in Foxboro Stadium Gillette Stadium Gillette is not the best headset you can get obviously um no man thr up the game soon as they kicked off I I thought that uh coach the boy was going to start like trembling cuz he was kind of he was kind of Blown Away like yo uh is there a game coming on right now I forgot sometime when it come to football my mind geographically shrinks the country so faf and them about to get it on right now I have to finish that in the morning I may watch a little bit at night but I'll finish it in the morning let me go to the game first quarter is all I just took I just took some notes I just took some notes don't try to read my my my my handwriting it's like hieroglyphics I mean it was good and bad it was it was it was what they call it uh Feast of Slaughter it was Feast of famine the offense was Helter Skelter it was all over the place uh headset issues um headset issues holding calls uh number 50 seven I got to write his name down oh injury big injury Proctor he out there a t-shirt he got his arm and his sling under the T-shirt I'm like what is going on why is his arm he got hurt during pregame warm-ups so I'm over there like okay okay is it serious is that Gonna Last then 57 gets in there gets beat let my quarterback get hit I'm like what is going on with this and then um what happened was we had a three and out the defense is on the field I Ki s got the interception got the first interception then it came back mil milro had a TD on the ground because we got the ball on like the I don't know got the ball on like the 30 yard line or inside the 30 then we came back we let him get a first down you that tackle for loss by Morgan red Morgan good job young man then we had a flag for Paris interference by Red Morgan I was like and I was like red I don't know a lot about you but hopefully our our relationship doesn't continue to to carry on like this CU one thing I say about our relationship uh there has to be stability and this is unstable but I didn't hear his name much uh in a negative light man played the stand the game because defense like I said they played a wonderful game uh then we had rushing up the middle another interception by Keon almost took it to the house I just don't think he had faith that he could take it to the house and uh Then Kendrick law had a touchdown received uh reception but yeah they said K Kaden Proctor was injured in pregame as soon as they showed him and told his story we got hit with a uh false star on 52 holding on the receiver number six I get the receivers a benefit of Doubt and I I saw another later I saw um can't think of his name H the tallest receiver we have he blew a block and he just got had one of our one of our B plays has got blown up because he blew a block I was very unimpressed with that so there's a lot of stuff to work on when it come to defense I mean the offense and we always got to keep working on defense but even when we got behind with that false St and holding call and third and long they hit Ryan Williams for 85 84 yard touchdown 17 years old God I know I made an impression on somebody when I was 17 but could you imagine making impression impression on the world the world of college football at least 84 years old does not turn 18 until February I mean outstanding um but I'm going go further into what coach Sheridan talked about he has a a ratio he likes to see um uh he likes to use it to show the team how we did in the game overall I'm pretty sure we met that expectation but it was close when you look at penalties oh man and Parker braford hopefully we got it out of our system the snap over the head this time Jaylen tried to grab it couldn't get it because he tried to pick it up instead of falling on it and I I expect to say I expect to hear about them going to those drills man how do you go in there as a quarterback protect your fingers and get in there and make it happen um but all in the first all like the in the first quarter and a half is how that went down and um I just I don't like it but you know I did I just thought the the offense was going to be working the Kings on you know I mean the off the defense was gonna be working on Kinks it was it was a defense the defense had so many Kinks uh speaking of Kinks I guess uh Michigan has worked their out they were in a they were in a battle with uh what's his name uh with with the with the Bulldogs of Fresno State uh now they're taking a commanding league and there thing I think things are coming together for them Texas A&M is not holding down their part of the deal of being part of SEC are we gonna have to put them out of here but Michigan fans I just want you to know um it's a depth thing it's definitely a death death thing it's over okay I don't know the coast didn't leave y'all to plays he didn't leave yall to motivating conversation whatever what does Michigan had a turnover Shades what anyway okay it was nice play I think dude got a pick six but uh it's over is it too early to congratulate and I guess it's still I guess still got Oregon who who's in the big who's in the Big 10 now or big whatever it is is it but is it too early to congratulate Ohio State or you know I don't know I can say this congratulations to the new Big 12 CH Big 10 Champion CA it won't be a repeat Champion but as far as Alabama goes uh still some things to do still some things to do when it comes to the offense um they seem to come together in jail really good by the time the uh the end of the second all the silly stuff kind of went away the running game kicked in um it was just kind of splotchy you know and like I said the the headset's not working right before the game started after the kickoff but as the offense and defenses got to going that lasted for about two series and then came together but I just I feel better this year than I did last year jayen is ready the receivers need work but a couple of them ready for for big time uh action uh Kendrick Law's ready I think Kobe Prince is ready no Ryan Williams is ready um Jer Bernard I think he's ready he's he's the leader of the group group uh from a veteran standpoint but they still got a jail but the offensive line I don't know how Kaden Proctor's injury how this goingon to work for us going down the line so I'm really concerned about that young man I hope everything works out for him uh man I'm trying to see what I'm thinking about uh special teams did a good job I like what what I saw out of our PR returner but really can't test that stuff out until with wiconsin uh to the Wisconsin game just about um and yeah we going to pretty much snap Wisconsin in half they not ready George on the other hand still feeling pretty good about it but one game at a time let's get ready for you uh USF um if you have any um comments just leave them for me any questions you may have for me what I thought about something or let me know what you thought about the game I would love to hear it and I'm trying to see is anything El some my not said I do like Keon sa had a lot of big bang plays on offense uh that numberers pretty big just got to clean up the penalties I think they did a good job cleaning up the penalties going into the second half I don't know if we even had any and like the defense got just got better and better and better I think I remember them saying like they had like a negative negative yards uh going into the fourth quarter something like that so I'm I'll pull those stats up and go deeper into them on Monday but other than that good win good way to kick off the season you know 60 burgers are not handed off that handed out that often even by the Crimson Tide especially the very beginning of the season so I'm pleased and I know they're going to work on what you know what needs to be worked on but other
