came at a time when it actually United our country you know we didn't have all the division we had we were under attack and everybody kind of came together and it's no 23 years ago and we have generations of students who are born who have no idea about it um because it was not during the time and I remember I was working at fam and when it happened my daughters were in school and my oldest daughter said y'all had to be trying to find us we coming we leaving school coming through the woods Andross the swamp we going to be home we don't have to worry about us CU we coming the back way I'mma have my sisters with me and we'll be at the house but it was I mean nobody really knew what was going on and it was a lot of people who lost their lives and everybody is when I also found out it was a large number of people in Tallahassee that lived in New York uh and worked in New York and they lived in Tallahassee and they would go to New York and work and come back so 9112 three years and um it's something that all of us uh need to keep in our mind and hearts
