[Music] books are a uniquely portable magic the world always seems brighter when you've just made something that wasn't there before make good art the world needs more good [Music] art you get what anybody gets you get a lifetime a book is a dream that you hold in your [Music] hand it's not that we spend 5 days at the office and then have the weekend off it's that most people don't have a weekend off they don't have any days [Music] off I think that the most important thing is to remember to take yourself seriously but not too [Music] seriously the best things in life are free the second best are very [Music] expensive you should write the book that you want to [Music] raid we all need a reason to keep going a reason to be who we are to be [Music] ourselves the stories we love best do live in us forever [Music] the universe is not short on wake up calls we're just not always awake when they arrive there is no such thing as riters block that was invented by people in California who couldn't write sometimes you have to be a little bit crazy to get through [Music] life to Define is to limit life is always a journey and the way to make it through the Journey is to find Joy along the way we all have secrets the ones we keep and the ones that are kept from us everything you do is a choice and your life is a product of the choices you [Music] make you can't be afraid of people willing to hurt you because if you fear life you will never [Music] live the the only way to deal with this life meaningfully is to find one's passion and put everything into [Music] it the problem with having a mind is that it is sometimes a dangerous place there are no good or bad experiences just experiences that teach us your silence will not protect [Music] you hope is a powerful thing it's the very essence of the human Spirit a person who forgets the past is doomed to be reminded of [Music] it the real world is far too complicated for me and I often find it much easier to deal with imaginary worlds [Music] even a bad idea can be a good idea if you're clever enough the truth is that everything you create is an act of [Music] faith if you you dare nothing then when the day is over nothing is all you will have [Music] gained be curious be adventurous take risks [Music]
