[Music] hi guys I'm Stefania hello hi I have the privilege of teaching high school English and literature and I finally more the Rings into my [Applause] [Music] repertoire is it the entire is it the entire three books I'm so glad you're asking me that because that's where I'm going with my question so for the first quarter we're doing Fellowship of the rank and I can I did get permission to do two towers and Return of the King but the caveat is I have to get them enamored by the literature and although I'm confident in being a good Storyteller and a good educator I'm wondering what advice you guys can give to me to get them you know tracked into to want more I I I think I think get them to read passages you know include them in the storytelling it's all about you know the power of the story and if and if you can get them to take ownership of some of the characters or take ownership of parts of the story or you know select really kind of moments which reflect different you know aspect what talking was after but but really kind of you know allow them to have a part of it I think is is is because often in school it it feels like handed down information and that and that's I'm sure it's not in your case I'm sure you yeah my my supervisor is convinc that I'm in the literature that I'm so well um what what have they read in your class here 24 like what what what what else have you had them read I'm curious It's actually my first year with this school but for nth grade literature I've always done my men don't the Flies um I Animal Farm I'm doing1 though with a different CL um but yeah so I'm just I don't think you'd lose them I mean listen it's dense and it's um it's foros and there's a lot of there's a lot of words of of token's creation to get through it's incredibly dense and beautiful but I mean they're reading incredibly dense books already and there's a lot of excitement and I don't know I don't think you're going to lose them there's also a major emotion picture Trilogy that they at the end of it you can be like mother that get through fellowship and we can watch it in the past you know thank you and I love that idea and about that maybe I'll actually bring them read is a really good idea having them read just take ownership of the characters because there's so much art there that's the thing there's so much heart in the story and you know that's what we're carry you through thank you so
