monk alry finally Jordan Montgomery signs with Arizona Diamondbacks signs he signs with the Arizona Diamond I thought it was Diamond Back maybe I wrote that down wrong diamond back it is that must have been my phone doing an auto correction uh Arizona Diamond Back signs with Jordan Montgomery a one-year contract the deal is reportedly worth 25 million and uh Montgomery will pick up a $20 million player option for 25 if he makes only 10 starts uh the 25 salary can rise up to 25 million if he makes 23 starts the next year so that's a bit more of a question I feel like the 10 uh is pretty good so I just have a take here first and then I'll throw it to you yeah uh so for me this seems complicated for no reason doesn't it I mean yeah I know or is it is it as simple as like it's a big he's a big man he's aging he's got a little bit of an injury history [Music] um that is kind of true but last year he hit a career low erra so I mean he seemed like a top guy gonna get a fiveyear deal to me man what did you see there yeah it's kind of the free agency market especially this uh this uh offseason I guess I was gonna say this fall like it's not the fall but I think it's a good deal it's just a a deal you know you see these kind of deals and they make sense for the team but then the team yeah if the guy Jordan Montgomery here makes every bit of that happen he's he's he's laughing too injury risk yeah I guess so and it's a day the day and age we're in now right like we aren't seeing contracts that are that much like Blake snow for instance was looking for 250 million he ended up with 80 um other gu same idea right match hatman off the top of my head because I'm Blue Jay's guy right uh same idea and uh overrated we covered overrated but he was looking for probably 200 mil and watch the episode last week I gave him an overrated rant yeah but still it's matter of fact is he he's a guy who is one of the many who didn't get what they thought they would in this off season but I think for for the uh a potential World Series Contender the Diamondbacks I think he's a great pickup he goes along well with uh like Zack Allen here Marl Kelly Montgomery now Rodriguez fat Brin of fat uh I think it's a nice rotation they got a good Bullpen I I like the moves they've made uh they get a legit third baseman now too I'm actually like excited for them I think they have a good chance to be back there they the one thing they were lacking last year was depth at pitching in their start rotation and yeah I'll say that it's got to be exciting for Diamondback fans wherever they are who knows um I'm in Arizona yeah but I don't I don't take them seriously still but it's got to be like kind of exciting for them to have a better team than they're used to I'll say that much yeah yeah I think I think they can be right back there for sure just based on the fact that their pitching is their their rotation is that much better and uh and it's a tightly better lineup and they had a good lineup last year too right so uh yeah they they're not uh dog crap no no they're a good team man they're a good team I think they could come out of the way West they could potentially challenge like your Dodgers and your Braves I don't think they would be the team coming out of the west but I think they will sorry sorry not the West the national league I think they'd be third behind the Dodgers and Braves who I have kind of back and forth a little bit playoffs don't talk about playoffs you kid me playoffs that's a World Series team last year without this yeah yeah yeah no I think they're gonna be good uh and I don't fair enough they are good they are good no they're a good team uh all right well from one signing to the next let's move on Jadeveon Clowney signs with Carolina Panthers to who do you got uh travius White I've got with the Rams here next uh now I'll say for all the improvements and praise that we've given to the Baltimore Ravens I think this is a huge blow that really uh I don't think you you can understate it uh so the Panthers uh Carolina Panthers sign clown to a two-year $20 million deal last season he had the nine and a half sacks I think that tied is season best uh my quick take is Carolina still sucks but uh good signing for them anyway uh too simple of of a analogy there or what no no I think you skipped you went you went to do travius white the Rams and then you skipped to DAV and Clowny I think yeah I did okay let's go Clowny then yeah yeah it's a big it's another blow for the Ravens man the Ravens have lost a couple nice players there right um but and it's a two-year deal 20 million for clone he had nine and a half sacks last year that's pretty solid um they lost Frankie louu they lost uh gross Matos um and burns like I don't think like bringing in Clowney wanam from the Vikes and duel makes up for that I think that the three players that lost or better than three players to bring it in on on the defensive side of the ball um so yeah I still think that they're a maybe a six maybe six win team maybe like like at at best all right so who's who fumbled it worse them or me just now on the setup well no the setup was well you just switched you just switched it but you got to end of the meat of the potatoes with it anyway but uh yeah I'm like who are we talking about oh man yeah yeah yeah we have do white after this right let's do white next yeah yeah all right man so uh I guess I already gave my take on uh Clowney yeah yeah clown I I don't think it's gonna matter that much I don't think for Baltimore no yeah for Baltimore more so than the Panthers I think the pan oh yeah okay yeah yeah we're on the same page yeah yeah I think the Panthers are still going to be maybe a six1 team I yeah and Baltimore they they did a bunch of pluses but they also had a few minuses so yeah we'll have to see how all that Stoner math plays out there yeah they they uh they lost a few key pieces there so we'll see we'll see we'll see they got some good pieces too they got some good pieces yeah they still do but yeah L losing to they lost I'm a little bit are they going to be the same caliber of Team we'll see we'll see uh all right moving on to now Tre'Davious White signs with Los Angeles Rams travius white signing with the Los Angeles Rams former Buffalo Bill Corner back to davius White ni one year deal worth up to 10 million uh me personally can't decide if I like this or not so he had the ACL injury in 22 where he missed 10 games and then he missed some of the next season there as well big risk risk I would say now on the other hands the Rams I don't know if this is hot take or not they they have a chance at the Super Bowl this season okay outside outside yeah and I think they have I think this is a very small window for them they were in the playoffs with like they only lost by a couple points right to the B they played well they played especially down the stretch they played really well oh man and they did that just a few seasons ago where they went all the way so I think they have they have to go for it they have enough chance to not go for it I think on a one-year deal uh you're not too worried about the injury risk and where your window was shortterm I think the shortterm upgrade makes sense uh but that's just me convin me if I'm wrong or right on that uh no I like it I think it's a good move uh why not do you know what I mean take take a shot it's a one-year deal um you're trying to be a contender if he can stay on the field great if he gets injured is a part of the game right um I do like that they also signed from the commanders Cameron curl another defensive back there that's gonna add it's going to be nice little uh they're gonna have a little bit of death defensive back and I think that's great um I know Aaron Donald retired but I think they can re uh not replace Aaron Donald he's amazing he's a Hall of Famer but find something to plug in that'll work and they kind of already do anyway um I'm a big uh I'm a fan of the moves both those moves and I I think why not take shot at davious just if you can stay on the field great um if Rams had a little bit of a better defense last season it could have been a different story yeah yeah yeah honestly uh another year for Ernest Jones I guess you know I when they're healthy up there if if their offense is healthy they can Chuck it oh yeah their offense is uh is uh solid U the defense or the offensive line could use a little bit of help but it's still enough for Stafford who's you know and Stafford if Stafford still has it he has two awesome weapons a top 10 option I mean yeah and kyn Williams great running back last year he broke out last year for them who's to say he's not going to do it again so hey here we go let's see and I don't dislike the Rams I actually like Shawn mcfay their head coach quite a bit so oh same man that handsome devil yeah is handsome man how do you get your hair so re-signs with Jacksonville Jaguars ahead oh GE oh wait oh uh F outon three year extension the linebackers agency announced on Friday uh so the deal is worth 45 million only half of that is guaranteed man so uh a lot to prove from the linebacker uh people have called him I saw online the pillar of the Jacksonville Jaguars defense and that got me thinking do they have a defense what is the pillar of a pile of [ __ ] no no no it's a good defense man that's a good defense at front Seven's looking good they added him or they not add him they kept him uh I always talk about the other Josh Allen uh TR make that step but they added Eric I like that front I like that front seven man I think they secondaries kind of me uh but uh he he led the league in tackles two years ago I didn't even know know that man no nobody is scared of the Jacksonville Jaguars anything no I know I know but hey they're they're they're shuring up the front seven anyway well see I might make the secondary with my new hip and everything but uh you want a middle of the pack team come watch the Jacksonville Jaguars where they can't ever quite get it together yeah I know they got to figure it out uh I'm I still think they need something else on offense I'm not quite sure or what I think where they only guaranteed half of it it shows that they're not totally sure on them either yeah but I I do like sharing him up okan whatever I do like the incented lative L deal I'm stumbling over my words tonight but I do like the incentive deal for the team for sure yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm okay with that too I think it's good but um just have him back and and and extending him and getting a few more years now they got a I'm trying to think off the top my head what's out there for the secondary but uh might might be worth grabbing somebody there's way too much movement to pull stuff off the top of the dome right now yeah I just don't know what uh what they're going to do with that secondary but I like the front seven man I think it's it's looking better especially since Armstead signed there too it's uh it's getting there it's getting there man we've been saying getting there ever since since they got Lawrence and they're they're not there go well they took a big step back last year so that was supposed to be their step forward year I know I know and it wasn't so yeah all right so it's almost it's almost a a do or die kind of this year they might you never know they might blow it up a little bit right I think Lawrence isn't going anywhere but uh I Vikes can go get Lawrence if they do blow it up want to get rid of Lawrence clown their ass but they are who we thought they were and we let them not yet not yet playoff bubble team imagine that playoff bubble team oh man wow they they shouldn't be a bubble team this year they got a lot here I'll say this they got a lot of problems if they're bubble team this year um and I think we're GNA see some changes for sure but I think they should firmly bean reic traded to the Jets so the Haason Reddick traded to New York Jets Philadelphia Eagles are trading pass rusher Hassan reic to the New York Jets for a conditional 26 third round pick that will become a second round pick if reic plays 67.5% of the jet snaps I read that I was what has to record at least uh 10 sacks as well uh so that part seems hard now I say it seems hard but the 29y old has hit both of those milestones in each of the last four seasons so yeah yeah it's still like a crazy number but this guy is a crazy athlete so my quick take about that is that the Jets are making honestly good moves the best moves that they can come up with to make one more year for Aaron Rogers I think it makes sense for them uh I mean that's all I really have to say about it it's good for them I know what the Eagles are doing I'm worried about the eagles they fell apart last season and they are uh making multiple questionable moves in my opinion but you're a lot smarter than me man tell me about the Eagles and tell me about the Jets uh I like the eagles uh making this move I think it's a kind of a he's entering his age 30 season I believe so you you maybe you got a few years left in him but I think he'll still be at a double digit sack sort of situation this year for sure I thought you could have got more for him yeah yeah but it is what it is just based on age I think and just based on the fact he wanted out and and four double yeah that's a big part of it you're right yeah yeah but um no I like I like the addition I like the addition Tyron Smith on the Left End and Morgan Moses two offensive lineman there great great moves um I might want to see the mat another wide receiver and maybe want to see them at a tight end they might do that at the draft think Brock Bowers um but don't know for sure but I've liked the moves they made I think they're gearing up for for go at it meaning meaning a Super Bowl the Eagles this season not the Eagles this is the uh this is the jet okay the Eagles I think are GNA incorporate sorry man I was on the wrong page there for a minute I think oh no that's the Jets that's the Jets I think I think the Eagles are going to uh go for probably uh more playing time snaps for an noan Smith um maybe having niobe Dean back some of their young guys that they're getting rid of these other guys for or these guys are retiring I think futcher Cox retire too I don't think you know he did um you know so playoff um it'd be interesting to see what they do at Center uh because Jason Kel's not there anymore they still think that offensive Line's solid um it depends on the young guys that they're gonna Bank on like Smith and right now yes or no yeah I would say they're still in a contender they're they're right there Fringe Contender probably for the playoff Adit I am exaggerating a little bit I do see a bad downfall for them it's been going Downs for like since I I said middle of last season uh if if you made me pick yes or no I honestly would pick no I do see them crashing pretty hard uh on paper maybe they should make the playoffs but uh I think it's gonna be closer than maybe people think I do uh I do kind of agree I said fren Contender and fair enough you fair a lot of that is uh based on Jaylen Herz if we're gonna see a bounce back from Jaylen Herz or if this is Jaylen Herz do you know what I mean like important so I'm curious to see what they'll do too I know they got saquin now too so they actually have a running back there's a lot of means about how they they basically lost a down every time now hours 75 is actually shut down but drivers are being allowed to get back on it just pass just walking away yeah casually they're not even running man that's gangster know what you know what the craziest part of that they both ran into Hyundai Accent is that what you have yeah yeah I'm like man that's up my car love that car leave me alone Y and it held up yeah right so $20,000 accent F so just to finish my note here so it's unclear if he was driving or not I don't think it's been confirmed really 100% yeah but what has been 100 per confirmed is that uh it was his Lamborghini that he leased that has been confirmed was that was officially confirmed okay yeah uh yeah from the company itself and on the lease it says that he's the only person to be driving it so whether or not it it was him driving it is yet to be proven he has yet to come see the car company or the police uh and there's been no police uh statement yet so he I don't know if you call him on the run it's kind of sketchy at the moment but there's no official statements other than the car company is officially seeking him out to pay for the the damages uh because he is at the very least responsible for that damage and the person driving it so I honestly don't know if he was driving it but he's at least uh a piece of [ __ ] enough to know about it anyone who drives in these races down public roads honestly in my opinion is a piece of [ __ ] selfish selfs absorbed has no care for the public there are places to go race even though I'm not a car person I get wanting to go fast in your car there are tracks you could go to yeah do not endanger the public I hope this piece of [ __ ] gets whatever he gets uh I found one hilarious comment that said buying the dip on marhi rice and fantasy which I
