invite all of the candidates to appear it's going to be at MLK which we always have it at Martin Luther King complex 1700 uh um MLK Boulevard doors going to open at 6 doors open at 5:30 uh program starts at 6 6 to 8 we invite all the candidates and I can report to you that we normally have 100% participation Democrats Republicans all come and it's not a debate it's a candidates night where the candidates have opportunity to say what they want to do if they're elected those who are uh uh trying to re get reelected have the same uh wri project 2025 I don't have to explain to you what project 2025 is if you don't know tune in tomorrow 4:30 WEA 88.7 and 100.3 FM that's the nacp radio program we've been doing for 5 years on WEA and Stephanie Dixon uh will be talking about project 2025 what it is and what it will do if it comes into effect election 2024 uh all in is the theme of the um state conference and that's where we are at as uh as a uh as organization good evening we are all in because we want to make sure that people are mobilized uh to vote and that's why again we have the machines here tonight I'm looking for my next to last point which is the Georgia mobilization I'll tell you about that but before I get to that I want to thank our voter registration team which was on the boardwalk for three weeks in a row and also at Anthony's uh program registering people uh to vote thank each and every one of you for your efforts uh and we want you to continue as we come close to election day 52 days and they're going to continue the um Georgia mobilization the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church CME the African Methodist Episcopal Church a and the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church of Georgia have formed a coalition to mobilize black voters to participate in the election why is this important to us as nacp because we are organizing in the same way brother Marcus Wilson who's in the back uh is the political director for the mainland Pleasantville nacp and for four years we have been doing voting registration really in the uh between the city hall and the government building we can't do it this year because City uh City Courtyard is is being renovated so we're going to try to do it here in ACCC with the permission of our vice president here so uh voter mobilization is important voter education is important so having said all of that if everybody has uh seen the uh the minutes we'll take a motion for the minutes and then uh we'll take a motion for the treasury report and then we will hear from Marina V P Water
