Accurate forecast from the first coast news weather team certified by weather rate sponsored by AC designs. And we will take a look at your holiday weekend forecast in just a bit. But first, I wanna start with the tropics because something new out there, the National Hurricane Center has highlighted this area in the Atlantic where we will watch for a low pressure system to form. And as it moves to the west, it could get its act together. So we have a couple of models that we look at one of those models, the GFS model, the American model and notice that it shows potentially something forming as it approaches the Eastern Caribbean, maybe a tropical depression may be a tropical storm and that the time stamp right above my head, Monday Labor Day. So through the weekend into early next week, we'll watch for that possible development. By the way, the European model also agreeing and we could see some possible development as it approaches the Eastern Caribbean by Labor Day. So we will keep a close eye on it. It's not too surprising though because we are approaching the peak of hurricane season. This lull was really nice while we had it. We have a lot of winds here out there that's helping us keep things on the quiet side. But we'll still watch for more development as we approach the peak, which is September 10th. Hey, take a look at this time lapse from Lake City. We had a thunderstorm rolling lots of heavy rain and frequent lightning which lit up the sky as well. But now things are calming down and quiet out there. And when we take a look at our radar, we are dry across the first coast. Southeast Georgia. A welcome sight for a lot of you, especially for coastal areas where we had that flood watch effect that also included Nassau and Duval counties too. And now all of this rain really starting to clear out. So we'll, we will be mostly clear to partly cloudy overnight tonight as lows drop down to near 75 degrees, we will have to watch out for a little bit of fog possibly forming early tomorrow morning, but I'm not expecting anything too widespread. The kiddos in Southeast Georgia. I'm more concerned about the fog on the walk to school tomorrow morning. Besides that, it's gonna be a warm and muggy start to the day, humid for lunchtime and then highs tomorrow near 91 degrees. But feeling like 100 degrees. What about rain chances they won't be as high tomorrow as they have been. In fact, I think we top out right around 40%. I can't roll out a few coastal showers in the morning. More showers and thunderstorms though in the afternoon hours, likely a long and west of I 95 and similar to today, they will push to the west throughout the afternoon and early evening hours. But I think we will be good for the jumbo shrimp game tomorrow evening, I think will be dry and temperatures will be dropping down through the eighties, but it will still be warm. It'll still feel like the mid nineties by around seven o'clock, which is first pitch. And by the way, Duvall public school teachers, you get a free ticket to the game tomorrow. Then we head into our Wednesday temperatures right near 90 degrees, but it will feel more like the low hundreds. That kind of continues into our Thursday temperatures in the low nineties. But I do think it's our driest day. So take a look at my most accurate seven day forecast and I'm only going with a 20% coverage of rain on Thursday. Overall rain coverage staying isolated into Friday too. And then we will see scattered showers and thunderstorms with highs in the low nineties and feeling like the hundreds for the holiday weekend and
