here's what a 12 team playoff bracket would have looked like if we had had this format last season you got your familiar heavyweights they certainly would have been there but so too would have been teams like Liberty Missouri Old Miss and of course there would be no snubbing of Florida State all right so let's get some predictions on how things are going to go this season we're going to ask you guys to pick a team that will make their first ever playoff appearance and then we'll start with you Matt give Natty all right my Natty okay so I just talked about them last block Utah I think Utah makes the college football playoff this year I believe they're the best team what no UFC I fig you're going to go that direction hey we'll see they got a big one tomorrow Sunday night for me it just falls on Kyle Whittingham and the culture and the foundation and what's he's built Utah has been one of the top 10 15 teams over the last decade it feels like a great defense coming back and then offensively you need a quarterback to make a run and to win a title cam Rising is back from injury a year ago he looked really good the other night five touchdowns I like Utah and then my Natty team because I figure a lot of guys are going go the same team I'm going with the Oregon Ducks and Dan Lanny I like or they were close last year they were close last year with B Knicks now they get D Dylan Gabriel their offens is outstanding transfer portal nil Phil not everything I'm going with the Ducks couple big ones though they got Ohio State Michigan this year I'm going portal King portal King self-described portal King Lane going bust Lane train and the he's going to debut on the playoff it's amazing the best conference in college football I think they might be 11 of 12 games favored there's a chance at LSU cuz that it depends on how good LSU is Old Miss think about that favorite in all the games and my Natty of course [Applause] go best rosters almost always they don't like to here coach they don't like that here they don't want to hear that coach uh I've got Penn State you know if you go back over the past decade Penn State would have made the playoff in a 12 team scenario six times a completely different narrative I think around Penn State and James Franklin so I think they find their way into the playoff come off both 10 backto back win Seasons I mean what he thinks Penn State's going to make the playoff guys I think they're going to make the playoff I didn't say how many losses they'll have I think they'll make the playoff and my national championship team is going to be Ohio State you're talking about the roster I'm going talk about the addition of Chip Kelly I think Chip Kelly calling the plays get Ohio State back to finding their identity in the Run game more physicality up front I think we think Chip Kelly and all these high-powered offenses he likes to run the football you'll see a lot of tight ends extra offensive lineman and more with trayon Henderson quit John juggin so I got Ohio State winning it all in the end mark my college team who I got making their coach talked about them I got oh miss and Matt you say you have to have a quarterback to make uh a run at the playoff and they have a quarterback Jackson Dart Jackson throws darts from the pocket and On The Run he can hurt you scrambling he can hurt you in the QB Run game and he has talent all around him so I got old miss making their debut in the playoff and The Natty is going to go look at my do oh here we go we got [Applause] B man they won two out of the last three national championships they've been 42 and2 the last three seasons only two loss have come from Alabama Crimson tires so roll tie and the coach who did that now he's on the other show on the other network behind desk why did you get that you know cuz I'm I'm I'm clean you me I got the sauce but you can't get lost in the sauce but yeah Georgia Georg has Carson Beck arly best quarterback in the nation got a great defense and Kirby Smart has this team ready to go they have the recipe and they're built to go to distance that's why I have Georgia winning the national championship cuz they would have won it last year had beaten him in SEC Championship so georia georia [Music] georia are you are you get the Barking in are you done breathe for the bark you're good for now we we need to protect markram at all costs save it save it for the podcast Mark the de St of the week save it for the podcast all right hey thanks for watching if you enjoy that clip make sure you click subscribe somewhere down here from game highlights to exclusive interviews and rankings we've got everything you need as a college football fan right here college football on Fox
