A man was reportedly removed from a Delta Airlines flight for wearing a t-shirt featuring
former President Donald Trump making an obscene gesture and referencing a viral
meme from the “hawk tuah” girl video.
A video posted shows the man being
escorted off the plane at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport on Saturday
morning. He was wearing a black t-shirt with an image of Trump in sunglasses with an American
flag motif, holding up two middle fingers.
the man had initially complied with a request
from airline staff to turn his shirt inside-out after someone complained about it while he
was waiting to board. However, after boarding, the man allegedly turned the shirt back to its
original side. Just before takeoff, a Delta employee boarded the plane and escorted him off.
Earlier this year, another Delta passenger claimed she was almost removed from a flight after
attempting to board without wearing a bra.
