[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] I mean I don't it's like we so much had went into it I would say um yeah but yeah for me personally though like so much i' went into it like over the past couple years get so fol to Loser it kind of felt like getting a monkey off your back something that was just haunting us for so long La was beautiful honestly you know and the I was in B Hill no we actually we stayed uh downtown so we stayed downtown like right next to crypto Arena or the Staples Arena okay where the lake huh about that yeah but uh so that was cool it was beautiful the weather was great and stuff like that um and then that game that Alabama game like the fan it was it was like a home game it was a the fan base in Michigan side was super loud um and it was crazy like everyone around all you can like feel it around the hotel uh and in Houston also I mean Houston was cool too obviously um that was a Nat of course that's what I'm saying I don't want to say I don't appreciate being able to go to Disney and do all those different things like that but as far as the game aspect like it's easier to be focused and locked in on the game when you're just you just land play your game and leave versus you're there for the whole week like real sou be like I think like somebody from like Memphis or something like that say say one more time somebody from Memphis or somebody from like me I'm trying to think I know right but I'm trying to think about like nobody really comes look I just came from I'm trying to think or like you don't got NOS yeah booy for some for some reason is a first yeah I don't know he's old man old man that's what I'm saying but like he's not even like at this point he's more like a just like a star or not a star but like I don't consider him like a Down South rapper like right I feel like he's just more hen Chopper like he is what he is you know what I'm saying I think little baby I don't know why the little baby he his baby pig he always talking like Hey cuz I don't even know them folks like that that's true that's how you talk I just feel like he's so popular at this point like he's not even like he's so yeah he's so mainstream at this point it's not even like a that's not what comes to my mind when I think down south rapper you know what I [Music] mean I feel like for like every athlete that's something that's constantly happening like things aren't always going to work out in your favor even if you work super hard at it like even the other day ear this week we were uh what was it we doing a 5105 and the L drill like combine testing something wait on the field and I'm doing it and I'm slipping I'm slipping and I'm between every single rep going over it you know practicing my technique I go practice it again go do my full rep and I slip again again I did about four or five times in the whole day I was slipping you say slipping he like like I was just I no no no like we were doing field workor and I was just slipping like on the like on the drill like trying to make Cuts I like yeah yeah exactly so I say that to say like even with little things like every day like that happens like you know I'm all I'm working hard to do it but like it might not I might slip on this drill even though I'm your hard in between the Reps to perfect it you know what I'm saying but like even though that that might happen like it's just my mentality is always the next rep the next thing the next the next because once you do something you can't do anything about the past there's no point to worry about it like so um yeah that's just my mindset when things don't go my [Music] way D Dad they SN me they ow money in 1996 know oh my God I don't know dases at all honestly there isn't a main thing like good players come in all shapes and sizes like my fault but uh yeah n i mean sometimes you can look at them and see it right away sometimes you can look at a dude and think man this how is this dude good and they put on the p and he's one of the best players on the field so and now I mean I say that from physical I say that from the mental side I just it's like a it's just a mixed bag like the best players could be the like I don't know could be the hardest workers it could be the laziest people like it really is just a mixed bag in all honesty from what I've seen from what I've witnessed Dr Travis Scott and N they did not win the G guess what they lost was it Billy is no not even got this dude okay was it killer M who was that exactly I mean he's he's from my side no but in my opinion though I feel like the Grammys and all that kind of stuff has always been rigged like oh but at the same time though everyone's Taste of music is so different it it's never going to please everybody Ronaldo Cristiano Ronaldo I or or LeBron or Lebron yeah Ronaldo or Lebron soccer the soccer player those those are the or Lebron Lebron I know Leonard I know uh I just I I love soccer for I don't know why honestly uh I just grew up playing FIFA I love with soccer it's my favorite soccer player uh I I could really get into it but I mean it's just get into the viewers not n i mean uh shoot he's just a complete player honestly no yeah yeah nobody can do nobody Messi especially but nobody in general can do everything on the soccer field the way that Ronaldo from top to bottom heading the ball Left Foot Right Foot free kick penalties it doesn't matter dribbling he can score from any part of the field he's won the most Champions Leagues he's a Portuguese so he's he's white but uh he should have more more Bend doors but um but yeah yeah just his ability to score goals when do you get I mean say favorite play do you get inspiration from like watching yeah no definitely definitely why why cuz uh you know he's one of those dudes that you know he's what [Music] 39 still you know what I'm saying he's a grandfather now still running up and down like his work his work ethic is just is ridiculous so I mean age to y'all that's Granda yeah know that's that's old man yeah for real that's crazy young guy man what over 30 39 Oh My Goodness right grew up my whole childhood playing basketball right and I'm an athletic guy but dunan like for whatever reason like I'm just not good at it like up timing the everything about it like I just miss it's just some people just get it like you know what I'm saying and it's like you do it and then go right back out there's that I miss it some it's just there's so much it's I still that there sometimes I just miss it I'm in here time I'm long is that you yeah I I I would say so and also for me it's like I mean I in a way it's like you know we it's what we work for it's like it's what we expect you know what I mean like we going into this season we knew that if we handled our business and did everything and executed to the level that we knew we could that winning the national championship would be the out and we were able to do that so I mean we're not nobody is really surprised but like at the same time you're happy and static if that makes sense you know what I mean but you but I we all knew at the same time that it was possible it was within our grasp we just had to go do the work and we did the work and we got did our goal so it's not it's not like you don't I'm not like super ecstatic and super happy for so long you know what I mean it's just we we put our head down as you know as far as last season we put our head down work got the national championship and as far as this season we plan to do the exact same thing so how you taking win yeah I mean uh you know obviously it's February now so you know I'm past all the soaking it in kind of stuff that was yeah so I mean at this point the mindset is get another one um do it again you know we we know the blueprint we know what we have to do what y think about new coach though you think he can do it more yeah no of course uh he's battle testing man like that's my own he is literally there is no uh better way a coach could be battle tested on the way coach more has been and there's no better person to to be in the position you know he's he's a great dude right um and like I said he's battle tested shoot he been on CNN about 10 times you say that's what so you know what I mean like he's in every aspect he he's handled the media the spotlight the play call everything like the decision making he's done it he suspended six he played 15 games he was suspended six of the game different over different things so like we didn't have our coach for some of it there was just different stuff going on like so I there was just a lot of outside noise you know what I mean like wasz stuff people were talking about we were always in the news about one thing or another like so it's like you know once you're brought up enough people are always going to hate you uh I mean everybody it's a team effort from no I mean like from everybody in the building like it's not yeah I mean top down from our nutritionist our strength staff our trainers our coaches are players everybody played a role um you know obviously at the end of the day we as a players had to go do it but we wouldn't have been able to do it without for support from everybody our families everything you know it's a group effort to get to [Music] that
