true that we owe your sister that you have become such a big pop star yes my sister actually discovered my voice from Beyond my bedroom door I I used to pretend to be her uh trying to emulate her singing and one day when I thought she was out of town she was listening in and she took upon herself to put me in a karaoke competition I was not happy because it was so out of my depth to see in front of people before but she gave me the push I think I needed and got here to be grateful for for the rest of my career so are you still able to be a bit shy or is that over yeah I'm a shy kind of guy I'm a bit nervous about these cameras I'm a bit nervous about all these people but I love what I do and I think being an artist and Performing and you know singing songs across the world is is it feels like purpose to me and then that kind of puts the nerves and the shyness to one side and uh can you tell that there's any difference in from the German audience to the to the British audience when you perform here yeah the German audiences for me have always been incredible is everybody's always engaged a German audience really feels like they they really follow an artist's career it's not just here just for this one song you know some some people I've seen return back to my gigs again and again and again I've toured here a lot this year and last year I did erlang and balingan mines Bon Berlin I remember all the places wow okay yeah honestly I've been everywhere and I've loved it I've Loved forming a new relationship with Germany and a deeper relationship with my fans and you know I I genuinely feel like I could live in Germany I feel like there's a lot of love here for me we wouldn't mind come here anytime hamburger is a beautiful place but yeah as you said a lot of beautiful cities as well so we're here to celebrate radio you're a Radio Star do you remember the moment you heard your first the first time you heard your song in the radio I do I remember being in my mum's kitchen and I was sat it was late at night and I was sat with a I would already been prepped that it was gonna play so I was nervous and I sat there with my bottle of champagne ready and then the dance thing on my own start playing and it was crazy it was crazy to me to hear my own song playing through the radio knowing it's on a radio station that I've listened to years growing up to have my music on there a song I had covered was just unbelievable and it's still exactly the same now if I hear my music on radio I'm always like that's me that's that's me and that happens a lot of times thank you so much thank you so much for being here have a good show have a great show on Vietnamese
