very much looking forward to bringing you live action from MLS it's the Seattle Sounders and they take on Sporting Kansas City thanks Derek well both managers will be reminding their players of starting the game quickly pting the opposition back playing the ball forward and regaining possession as quickly as possible hopefully we get a really good game here Nicholas number nul Ru Diaz [Music] [Applause] [Applause] 194 the initial 11 today for the hosts well although we have it down as a 4 five1 it's actually more likely to be a 4231 they play with two holding Midfield players a number 10 and two Wingers the system has a nice balance to it let's have a look at the initial 11 for the visitors well plenty of attack wh in this 433 but they'll need to get their Midfield players to join the center forward as much as possible if not he'll become [Applause] isolated and the match begins [Applause] zuzi Russell with it well time just challenged magnificently opportunity to deliver the cross oh how about that for the last line of defense this is looking threatening L into the box danger avert it well he's featured on the back pages of quite a few newspapers in recent days if reports are to be believed this could be his final season could it be Stuart he's about to hang up his boots well Derek it happens to everybody at some point the body just can't cope anymore and that's probably the case here cuz when he plays he still has a big impact on this team oh that's a really good run pivotal moment [Applause] defensively well that's high catching wide play not the best Challenge free kick well straight into the meat of the penalty area taking care of business defensively here good run very much in control of the situation but they took care of the situation defensively well this is the day his debut forthcoming and it's going to be fascinating to see what he produces Stuart what do you think we should expect to see from him well he's a dangerous player when he gets himself isol quite possibly a yellow card as the flow was stopped well he's gone into the referee's notebook and he can't be surprised that was a poor challenge you have to say oh a really well hit free kick but no goal at the end of it yeah it's a great strike but he just couldn't squeeze it inside the post so [Applause] unlucky rul Ru Diaz he's in behind and you've just witnessed a moment of truly high class goalkeeping you're absolutely right what a save that is he's reacted so quickly let's see about the delivery not all that convincing defensively it's there for him chance maybe well they can keep possession now plenty of forward momentum here but can they produce a fine reading of the situation [Applause] still pushing for that goal that would see them Forge ahead oh totally committed danger not finished though and just wide of the Target in the end well good good effort but I think the goalkeeper did have it covered loo onto Ru Diaz can they create something from here well nothing comes of it it looked promising Libo far from a good pass [Applause] and he's through here oh a good diving [Music] save who can he pick out well not the best clearance and problem solved for now showing a real will to win the ball delivering it into the box the save was a good one playing it in managed to get it out of there high pressing and good high [Applause] pressing not much defensive cover there on the flank leting to cross into the center No Nonsense clearance very alert defending to cut off the supply racing forward trying to catch them out L well couldn't quite Hit the Target close though well had it been on target I think the goalkeeper had that one covered perfect [Applause] challenge joal Paulo they've given it away Remy Walter and one minute of stoppage time has been added on he's beaten his man and the managers will now deliver their halim team talks we're at the end of 45 minutes in this game and the contest begins quite possibly a yellow card as the flow oh a really well hit free kick but no goal at the end of it well underway once more and it's going to be fascinating to see what developments occur in this second [Applause] half and they will be awarded a free kick for [Applause] [Applause] that Johnny Russell can't miss surely well he tried to put everything into the shot but couldn't find the target determined [Applause] defending well this is the home of live football and we have more MLS action coming your way it's the Seattle Sounders up against the San Jose Earthquakes and tidy defensive play and the counter attack is on options available but nothing comes of it good defending it was [Applause] Johnny Russell and in the right position to read it Al Paulo and loo promising attack this really have to get it spot on to finish from there and it was Miles off Target well maybe not the right choice there that's a poor effort it is a decent looking attack here and credit is due for that [Applause] them into the advanced position can he take advantage keeper getting the touch Ru Diaz tremendously strong in the tackle well the keepers made a good save but you just sense a goal is coming soon well those stats really do show you everything so many chances but yet so little end product at some point though you sense they're going to get the Breakthrough and the referee playing Advantage this could spell trouble with the referee having already shown the yellow card well maybe a little fortunate Stuart not to see a second yellow well he has to be careful that's a really silly challenge [Applause] well possibilities in the center oh an incredible clearance I must say I didn't see that coming now in a more than decent [Applause] position now we're inside the final 15 minutes [Applause] and him with a real chance and brave goalkeeping to deal with the danger well he had to get that right didn't he that's good [Applause] goalkeeping still pushing for a winner but quick thinking Def [Applause] offensively oh fine play and maybe it'll set something up oh really good save and it remains all square well he's just saved his team from defeat here it's a great save I would say over it comes a bit short with the clearance just couldn't get it [Applause] through look as though they had attacking momentum but not so loo chances on and keeping it out just knocked it out of there [Applause] Walter [Applause] Rya pedo with it well that was incisive but he's bound to be disappointed with himself not a great effort Stuart well the less said about that the better not a good decision from him substitution time it is here and we are going to have two additional minutes can they grab the lead late on well it came to nothing in the end well let's see what they have in store
