typhoon yagi became a super typhoon in the South China Sea in early September at Peak intensity it was equivalent to a category for Hurricane brought widespread impacts to Regions like South China the island of hinen uh Vietnam's coastal regions bringing destructive wind gusts we saw torrential flooding uh over a meter storm surge and extreme amounts of rainfall this could actually have some Canadian impacts now we won't be seeing a typhoon in Canada anytime soon but the track of yagi re forces confidence in a pattern change mid-september in Canada now what might that pattern be well across western Canada we're seeing below seasonal temperatures and more rainy conditions across Eastern Canada we're seeing above seasonal temperatures drier conditions and more Midsummer likee weather so the track of typhoon yagi could actually amplify the incoming pattern [Music] [Music]
