College Football Top 25 - Week 1

what up my fellow football lovers this should be a quick uh top 25 for week one because we really only had one big game and that was the very good football game of Georgia Tech and Florida State and we'll talk about that just briefly a little bit later let's get started on those rankings from 25 to 12 as I said not much will change but you will see a little bit just because of um how Florida State lost so we'll start with my I want to keep it in these three little brackets from throughout the year I'll change them up just a little bit but the good teams and I'm not sure about it's pretty much going to stay Arizona who will play uh New Mexico saturday night Kansas state who's got UT Martin Saturday night and then Iowa plays Illinois State Saturday at noon and then at 22 NC State I'm a little late um they actually had a comeback win and beat West Carolina last night we'll move up into the bubble teams you have Kansas they've got Lindenwood uh goes out to lawrencville um last night they won big last night as well and then Oklahoma they're actually playing Temple last night I haven't looked at the score because I'm watching the Braves in a high school football game with Carolton and Rome so we'll move up to 19 Florida State DJ look like the old Clemson DJ you have to give a lot of credit to Brent key and his coaching at Georgia Tech they had a few transfers man they played a great game at the beginning it looked like Florida state was just going to run all over them I I'm not sure why they stopped running so early because they just ran down their throat in the beginning I mean the biggest thing is I thought that defense was really Stout and Georgia Tech had their way against the defense they moved them throughout the game that defense line and Georgia Tech I they made all the right plays they held the ball with their running game to keep Florida State off the field and they did just enough to win so I actually have Florida State I'm big on if you win you should not be ranked above someone so Florida State maybe they can bounce back against Boston College tomorrow the huge upset puts Georgia Tech at 18 big win when they went out to Dublin man it was a fun game to watch I really enjoyed it going up to our contenders USC has a big game against LSU Sunday night that should be a fun game to watch continuing to move down on the list you got number 16 Tennessee I didn't change what I said last week they actually host U the University of Chattanooga who is actually a very good FCS team and they're only about 35 miles north of me but they um host the mocks of Chattanooga going to 15 Miami they are traveling to the swamp to play uh the Florida Gators they haven't played in a while so that game is right after Georgia and Clemson at 3:30 and then we have number 14 Penn State if you watch Pat McAfee he was at West Virginia today today it was a great show as well I really loved it the only thing that stinks is man they put Penn State and West Virginia at the same time tomorrow as Georgia and Clemson so I have to kind of switch back and forth moving on up uh Utah beat the crap out of Southern Utah last night and then the last one I had mentioned the other Contender USC so LSU will have the Trojans uh in their Stadium playing Sunday night so it'll be a good precursor for Sunday football before the NFL starts the following week okay we'll start with 12 through 1 and this is actually you're going to take one of these out of my ranks I'm going to change it up next week to kind of make it match but I'm going to put these in the bracket but this is actually how I have them rated 12 to1 it doesn't mean that's how they're going to fall in the bracket so at number 12 I have Liberty and then 11 Oklahoma State number 10 Notre Dame nine Missouri eight Michigan Seven Clemson six we have Old Miss five Texas four Alabama three Georgia two Ohio State and number one Oregon really hardly any change from last week except for purely just Florida State getting beat we'll move through the bracket pretty quickly we'll starting in the top leftand Corner we'll have Oregon I have them winning the Big 10 at number one and then Old Miss would be at eight you'd have Michigan at number nine coming down at the bottom left you would have Liberty going against Ohio State and then Oklahoma state would get that buy for winning the Big 12 at number four and then sliding over to the right hand side of the bracket the top right Clemson would get the buy for winning the ACC at number three that's still up in the air ACC and Big 12 could go any Direction moving down we have uh Notre Dame at 11 they would play Bama at number six the bottom right we would have Missouri at 10 we'd have Texas at 7 and then we' have ug at number two for winning the SEC and good gracious that would be nuts if you have Missouri Texas and ug that is a sec bracket then on the other side it's a pretty good mixture I actually don't think I'm not too sure that this many SEC teams will make it because they're going to beat up on each other but their strengths of schedule could also keep them within the championship so there it is really quick and easy because there's not much to talk about about cuz there was only one game next week should be a little longer and as always thank you for listening to spider red tell somebody you love them later
