all right so the Braves are in a rain delay looks like they might lift the tarp in a few moments but uh yeah actually they're taking out the field right now but had a little uh moment to share some cards so uh thought I would share two cards with you to uh Freddy Freeman cars rookie cars that for whatever reason have been very difficult for me to acquire the uh maybe my timing's just bad when I when I seem to find them I'm I'm I'm late or or someone's just uh more enthusiastic than I am and they're willing to pay more but recently I picked up this 2011 finest freshman card of Freddy Freeman this is a purple refractor uh they're not numbered and I'm not sure how scarce they are they seem to be the scarcest card of the finest freshman cars there are three variations to it there's the base Chrome there's an orange refractor and there's the purple refractor these are the cards I have um doesn't seem that uncommon to find the orange or or the Bas um but the purples have been a little more scarce so pretty pleased to pick this one up up not sure why the rookie card logo does not appear on this card because it does appear on the base card and it's exact same set this is uh this is the finest uh base cards and the variations of parallels thereof still looking for a diecut mosaic and a purple refractor but those are really really scarce um did see that someone recently picked up a purple refractor and I was impressed angel and envious but you know it is what it is I do have the gold and the red and that's seems like a a big deal to me um so uh we'll see you know I'm a long-term collector maybe I'll be able to pick them up later although honestly as more and more time passes I think it it becomes less likely to pick up some of these cars so you know it is what it is here's another card that's been for whatever reason just um probably just timing I haven't been able to pick it up uh but this one became available and it's a it's a gy Min 10 which I I would have I mean candidly I would have preferred to pick up a nine because of the markup and uh and also because PSA just seems to have a lower a lower standard for the centering on a 10 uh this one's not perfect centering U but it might have earned a 10 from SGC to uh it's close uh but um always thought was a gorgeous looking card uh I always prefer the tops Chrome card to the base tops card I like them both but I just prefer um this version and I think it's because that's just the the you know watching Freddy Freeman over the years that's just the way you remember Freddy Freeman is that stance and the way he addresses the uh pitcher before he's about to hit so these are variations I have th far I'm still looking for the black border out of 100 still looking for a gold refractor out of 50 and a red out of 25 the super refractor obviously is probably Out Of Reach the canary diamond that's another one of one that's uh not really on my radar um probably ready to submit some of these cars for grading now that it's becoming a more of a complete set I think if I picked up the black border card I might call it a day maybe that would be enough so that's all I wanted to share there's some other cards I want to share really soon some pre-war cards that I picked up uh but to be perfectly candid I I you know one of them I I took a dive on before I really even understood what what they were uh they t210 Old Mill cigarettes cards of minor Leaguers Atlanta Crackers and uh they just a lot of 10 of them came available and uh I wasn't sure if I'd ever see um those cars again so at least you know 10 together so I picked them up so I I hope to learn a little little bit more about those cards and share that in the video later here's a kind of a quick sneak preview this is Ray excuse me Roy Moran I have one of his uh cards as uh Atlanta cracker a kogan chips card but uh anyway I hope to share you know more information about that Set uh later on but and the interim I hope you have a great rest of your week and I will talk to you later see you
