keeping track of three major fires across Southern California the bridge fire has destroyed at least 33 homes in Wrightwood and mount baly it's now 3% contained the airport fire in Orange and Riverside counties is 5% contained and has burned more than 23,000 Acres meanwhile the line fire is now 21% contained authorities say two of the fires were caused by people the airport fire was accidental and the line fire allegedly intentional the cause of the bridge fire is under investigation mandatory evacuation orders have been downgraded to voluntary evacuation for the Robinson Ranch Community affected by the airport fire that's according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department the popular ski resort Mountain High escaped major damage after the bridge fire roared through that area this week McKenna Everson reports dramatic videos showed Flames scorching trees and structures but Mountain High still plans to open on time for the upcoming ski season that's because all of the main lifts and buildings survived with little to no damage but camping is closed for a few days and so is the north Lodge and it's expected to reopen next week the resort says however it's not out of the woods just yet because the bridge fire is still active the Beloved getaway in the San Gabriel mountains is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year for laist I'm McKenna C btson the opening date for ski season hasn't been announced but it could be in November gas will be turned off for 35 homes in the city of Rolling Hills starting Monday Yus RAF farzan reports the rapidly accelerating
