hello everyone I am sending you warm greetings on behalf of Babson College my name is Jamie krios and I have the great pleasure to be the managing director of the Babson collaborative for entrepreneurship education the collaborative is a global institutional membership organization consisting of 43 universities in 31 countries that are building and expanding their entrepreneurship ecosystems Babson College is a worldwide leader in entrepreneurship education having been ranked number one for 31 consecutive years at Babson entrepreneurial thinking and acting is not only taught in the classroom it's embedded in our culture and everything that we do it's what inspired us to create the Babson collaborative in 2016 founded on the belief that institutions acting together achieve more toward their entrepreneurial mission and goals than each Act alone unitech was the first ever collaborative member School in Honduras something we at Babson celebrated right along with you our membership is and will continue to be enriched by the experience the expertise and the unique perspectives that your community shares with all of us through various platforms programs and initiatives the collaborative supports entrepreneurship and Innovation at unitech by providing access to pedagogical best practices as well as expertise and thought leadership from Babson and other member institutions through various platforms including webinars research and Publications and our annual Global Summit members share resources and opportunities and participate in activities to remain at the Forefront of Entrepreneurship education the collaboratives flagship student offering is our annual ual Global student challenge in which students compete in a feasibility analysis of a new business concept addressing the UN Global goals unitech joined the 2024 challenge which engaged 3,000 students at 28 schools in 21 countries and we look forward to an even larger showing from unitech in 2025 the collaborative offers other benefits for students including the upcoming virtual prototyping challenge all and a webinar on business models for social impact unitech students also benefit from opportunities that are presented by other collaborative member schools like competitions and special events and many member schools have made connections through the collaborative that have led to valuable and impactful outcomes including co-teaching a course and establishment of student and faculty exchanges unitech has also recently signed an mou agreement that creates a pathway into babson's graduate degree programs theou serves as an additional indication of the very special relationship between Babson and unitech mou benefits include fee and test waivers for applicants and a guaranteed minimum scholarship of $10,000 if admitted and theou is available to unitech students and alumni and even employees Babson College is proud to have unitech as a member of the Babson collaborative we look forward to all of the ways that your community will engage with benefit from and contribute to our collaborative Network and we look forward to supporting you and your future endeavors to expand entrepreneurship education for the benefit of your students the local community region and Country take care everyone
