No, you look amazing. Hello everyone, welcome to Spain! More specifically Costa Brava even more specifically Casa Cruylles, which is this amazing building behind me and I’m very excited because tonight will be the celebration of a collaboration between Victoria Beckham and Mango. I’m far too early, as ever, so I’m going to take it as an opportunity to snoop around the house, but also to do a little preview of that collection ahead of tonight's dinner, where there’ll be a lot of esteemed guests, a bit of dancing, and a lot of fashioning. So, follow me. So, this incredible building was built in the 70s by the very talented architect called Antonio Bonet Castellana and we have a great privilege of being here because it’s a bit of a hidden gem this masterpiece, so what a beautiful setting for this evening. I, personally, when I get to places like this, like to roam around as if I own the place. So if you don’t mind, I’m going to do that while I look for some clothes. So here it is, this is the beautiful collection that everyone’s very excited to see. Isn’t it beautiful, at the back? I love it. If I could steal something, I would like this one, which I love. I love these bralettes, which are so nice, and I think it kind of evokes what she’s so good at, which is modern simplicity. So it’s clothes that you actually really want to wear all the time. I also love this. It’s got the hanging tassels, which kind of gives it a relaxed look. Also part of the collection was inspired by the iconic movie, La Piscine, a very sexy French film starring my favourite person in the world, sadly RIP, Jane Birkin. This is peak VB for me. Also do you remember in the 90s, when Victoria Beckham kind of pioneered the look of the bra with the suit? Like to me that’s her look, so I’m very pleased to see this kind of modern iteration of it. These pants are also a really amazing cut, I love that they’re wide leg, but also with a flare, they’ve got the turn-up. They’re really crisp and then they’ve got the fringed belt, which adds a little pizzazz. It’s so nice to review the collection like this, but I’m actually very excited to see it on real life people. I know there’s an amazing collection of gals attending tonight. So as the sun is setting, we’re going to make our way to dinner and see how everyone decided to dress their VB x Mango collection. Can you tell me what you’re wearing tonight? What kind of drew you to this particular look? I think I just wanted to get a little bit more polish than my everyday life. And I have this deconstructed feminine suit with a sassy touch. The classic Victoria Beckham tailoring. I love the back. I know, it’s so nice. This is the best surprise. I think what I love about this look is the tailoring. I mean it’s it fits so incredibly well with a little adjustable strap there. So nice. But I’d wear these pieces as separates as well, but tonight we’re doing, you know, a full suit look. A full look. You’ll want to wear straight away, but it’s also so, so classic, you can wear it forever. And I love the mix of the two textures on this dress. You’ve got that beautiful sheer and then the silk on top. I’ve just seen that. So it’s not just like one, so if feels like a bit more special than just a classic slip. Exactly. She’s an icon, I mean, who doesn’t love her? And it is kind of like being able to get a piece of her somehow, you know. So this gives the opportunity to everybody to feel a bit like her. People in fashion can take themselves quite seriously as we know, but there’s a humour to everything she does. Like even though this is quite straightforward but beautiful, tailored, sophisticated, there’s like a humour to everything she does. And what do you love about Victoria Beckham’s style? I love, just, well, chic sums it up, doesn’t it? It does. Yeah, like the big, long trousers, like just her tailoring. Yeah, but that’s coming through also in this collection I think, the quality of the tailoring is amazing. Like she’s got these incredible coats but then they’ve been twisted, so it’s like a contemporary twist on something classic. Yeah, definitely. I think she does that very, very well. Yeah. Behind that is the cube where the party is happening. I know it looks kind of austere from the outside, but apparently inside it’s a real spectacle. So I’m going to leave you to explore that.
