[Music] man so spring game you hit a 62 y something like that yeah it's your career long in game right that is career long you still got to be feeling crazy off of that for sure I mean that's something you dream about like that's crazy crazy and we weren't even supposed to kick a field goal then I think we were going to punt yeah we're going to play and I'm like I'm staring coach key down you know like let's kick the field goal so he called me out there and he's like you want to kick it I'm like hell yeah like let's go what's up everybody we're back with another episode of switching lanes I am joined by the kicker Aiden Burr how you doing good how are you thanks for having me on yes sir man so you see we're out here at the Brock indoor practice facility got the cleats on let's go kick this field goal let's do it you're a Texas kid I'm a Texas kid not a lot of us are here I just fell in love with Atlanta like you know first time I stepped on campus this is the place I wanted to be I knew it right away and I kicked good here one thing that I didn't really know that were in until I saw you wear shorts for the first time was these tattoos so you know just tell the people a little bit about your tattoos and what they mean to you I got Jesus on my calf my first tattoo is actually this Joshua 1 19 verse I got this Dove and a a candle and then I got an angel right here and then in God I trust you know just something I live by every day tell me what goes through your mind when you're setting up getting ready to kick an extra point or a field goal what does that look like well you know first you know I kind of run out from you know 50 60 yards away get my mind right you know you run out the field goal posts look narrower you run in you know they open up so you know I'm coming in you know I say I'm going lean on God I take my three steps back just normal steps two to the side I you know I'm looking at my spot the whole time I look up nod at David and I'm going and it's in am I kicking it with my toe and am I kicking it well there's this big bone in your foot I don't know what it's called but it's a EST bone in your foot you kick it with that it's like a golf club you know you let the club let your foot do the work yeah all right man well let's do it let's do it let's go set me up set me up man all right so you know you got to come do your three steps back two to the side Perfect Two to the side yep let's do it first try first try first try first try let's go Aiden what did you see what I what need to work on there I just heard the contact the contact wasn't very good so I feel like you didn't hit it with that part of your foot okay so really just got to focus on H that big bone in your foot following through get some height on it you know that one kind of spin out but in the words of Coach brunfield the ball needs good height and good width so I don't know if that applies to field goal kicking not good with but we're going we're going to go with it so shout out shout out Coach B shout out Coach B all right here we go chase here we go I believe in you on this one let's go I feel I feel good about this yeah let's go in [Laughter] there I got I just got to trust it I got to trust it yeah you got to trust it that was perfect third times a charm let's do this one let's do it eyes on the ball the whole time just like a golf swing strike down hips on the train track this what this what Aiden does yeah you got to get K you got to get the Jitters out you know what I'm not a kicker I play receiver I will still continue to come in here and perfect my craft but I'm just going to let you guys see it from the best Aiden Burr let me set you up man all right let's do it put your uh your right knee down left hand and I want you to tilt it let's go here and like that let's see if we still got it all right in the tennis shoes in the tennis shoes so this has been another episode a switch it Lanes I couldn't make a keep for you guys today but you know hopefully I can run it back later on but this is my guy Aiden bman appreciate you coming on the show yeah thanks for having me on sir
