walk in the park. No, this is big or is it big start? I guess we'll see. What do I know. We'll see. Ian Rapoport good morning to you. He's our insider assigned to us this morning Rapsheet. Where do you take us first as we attempt to inspect player statuses ahead of week one we will take you to Los Angeles. Well you're already in Los Angeles but a different part of Los Angeles this time. Not the Rams part, but the Chargers part. Justin Herbert missed much of training camp, dealing with a plantar fascia injury. Really? That left him in a walking boot for two weeks now. He explained it as more of a precautionary than anything else, and it sounds like he is going to be fine. In fact, the first day injury reports are available, he wasn't even on it. Then the team made a correction. Now he is on it, but he's a full participant. Justin Herbert should be out there, but you guys do have to wonder are we going to notice the missed reps in training camp, especially with a new offense? Certainly something to keep an eye on there. Meanwhile Christian McCaffrey was back at practice this week after also missing most of training camp with what we thought was just a calf strain. Usually when a guy is limited with an Achilles, that's extremely bad. This is not that we already knew about the Achilles. It just wasn't on the injury report. He should be good to go for Monday though. And then of course, speaking of Monday, Mike Williams, one of the big free agent signings for the New York Jets dealing with an ACL injury, trying to come all the way back. He was a full participant this week in practice. That is an indication that he is good to go and will make his debut for the Jets on Monday. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a little bit of a pitch count slash
