B Nation what is going on I'm your host B country and welcome to the channel tonight folks I'm coming on here with some news regarding the Washington commanders offense coordinator Cliff Kingsbury and how he is using certain weapons he's got there offensively and some of the stuff we've seen in the uh Dolphins game yesterday now the commanders lost this game 13 to6 But please understand this is a game that honestly I feel like the commanders would have easily won if the kicker just would have made some field goals but it is what it is Riley patters does not look like he's going to be the guy the commanders got a Sol their kicker issue but overall the offense moved the ball up and down the field off and on all day long and you know Driscoll there looked very very good when he was out there he's 11 out of 15 there had 82 passing yards but also jayen Daniels Jaden Daniels was out there once again and he was looking very very good I mean we're talking about a rookie that I think is honestly starting to look like a veteran and as long as he doesn't allow himself to get a big hat and you know as long as he stays composed I think the rookie is going to have a good football season this year fin Nation okay I've been saying it now for a while I think he's a better passer than what some people give him credit for and we seen it out there yesterday we seen it Kingsbury is doing a good job with his quarterbacks because honestly Jeff Driscoll looked good too okay and this goes back I feel like a lot to Kingsbury what he's doing there offensively you know he's spreading teams out there okay even when he's want to go four wide and he's running a lot of the GRE option there I mean he is using his quarterbacks as Playmakers and and uh man oh man you've seen it in this game too I mean when you look at you know Jeff Driscoll there he led the commanders there in rushing on four carries 45 yards but also jayen Daniels there he had a couple carries in this game okay Two Carries 13 yards so you can you can see what Kingsbury's doing but look at all the different guys that touch the ball and also this is something I've got to point out because you know you don't see this much folks honestly at all uh when you see a offensive coordinator you know getting uh this many tches to so many different guys 17 different guys caught a pass in this game look at this 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 17 different guys caught a ball that's impressive now I understand it's the pre-season a lot of people may not know how impressive that is that's honestly maybe just a casual fan but to me somebody that follows you know these stat sheets and I look at them constantly and I can tell lot just by looking at a stat sheet folks I'm telling you right now even a preseason game that is that's off the charts okay he's getting the ball around to a lot of different guys he's getting a lot of repetitions to a lot of different players so he can see what he's got for example I'm going to show you exactly what I'm talking about and this offense had success in this game they moved the ball very very well at times they just got to honestly work on you know the Red Zone there inside the 20 and also find a kicker but this team's going to be scoring points I'm saying it right now they're going to be scoring points now if you look at uh let me go ahead and uh go to some of these other preseason games that's what I meant to typ in NFL preseason games and I going to show you what I'm talking about regarding uh you know some of these other OC's getting the ball to uh you know all these different pieces what Kingsbury did there in that game you know you know playing all those third and four stringers and those guys getting touches and man oh man I mean Jeff Driscoll looking good there in that offense he honestly looked good it says something I mean if you watched the Cowboys game last night with my Cowboys for example we beat the Raiders there we made them look bad I feel like at times in this game 27 to 12 but how many guys there at wide receiver actually got some touches how many guys did Mike McCarthy get the ball to well as you can see one two three four five six seven eight guys that was it only eight guys was out there getting some touches okay what about the Raiders well let's go ahead and look at the Raiders here and what you're going to see is guess what hey not 17 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 guys so what you uh are seeing in the big scheme of things please understand 17 different guys getting you know uh some some touches there that's really getting the ball spread around there and that's honestly encouraging teamwork it's encouraging you know hey JD Daniels Jeff Driscoll these quarterbacks to be looking at all their different options and that's where I'm going with you know regarding all this quarterbacks are supposed to go through their progressions quarterbacks are supposed to you know be looking for the open guy and that's what Jeff Drisco and jie Daniels both did in the game you could see it they were spreading the baller R Nation okay that is the only way that you end up getting that many guys touching the football okay in a football game even if it's a pre-season game for example if you look at the Buccaneers here how many guys in this preseason game from the Buccaneers actually caught a ball 1 2 3 4 5 6 seven eight nine guys that is it nine not 17 nine what about hey the Jaguars here okay 1 two 3 4 five 6 Seven 8 9 10 11 what 12 guys so right there you can see in multiple preseason games when you're getting the ball there to 17 guys if you're Cliff Kingsbury and OC you are literally doing a great di I feel like coaching your quarterbacks because your quarterbacks are the ones delivering the ball and you'll wonder why Jeff jisco and Jaden Daniels is looking good it's because they're being very well coached there by Kingsbury Kingsbury is emphasizing there is not a doubt in my mind I can see it on the stat sheet he's telling them just to hit the open man just go to the guy that's open don't try to force the ball don't go out there you know you know being Reckless he's coaching them up the right way I can see in Jaden Daniels when he's out there I can also and I literally seen it even in Dre Driscoll and Driscoll's daugh is talented I feel like is you know Jaden Daniels he's older 31 years old but he looked good out there with Cliff Kingsbury calling play finition okay they had some success out there even with the third and four stringers out there catching footballs okay I'm just being honest with you it's impressive okay it is impressive Fan Nation Kingsbury is doing a good job you know he's also mixing things up there like I said he's running the football okay he's using the quarterbacks there the mobility there to open up you know uh I feel like the offense and you know make defenses worry about their legs we've seen it with Driscoll we've seen it with Jaden Daniels okay he's doing a good job I mean this was a uh pretty impressive uh thing overall after I looked at the stat sheet you know I I went live for three quarters of this game I went live for three quarters and overall when you're watching the game from the outside okay and even if you know you're doing your best to keep up with everything there's stuff that you miss but if you're me and you've watched football as much as I have and you've looked at so many stat sheets over the years there's certain things that start standing out okay if you're me and honestly I feel like you know if you've got a pretty high football IQ you start looking at stuff such as time of possession you start looking at you know how many guys in this game touch the ball okay you start looking at what did the offensive coordinator do regarding a game plan and I can tell so much from a stat sheet regarding what the game plan was okay I can literally look at a stat sheet okay because I have followed football for so long and I've looked at so many stat sheets over the years and I can tell what a freaking game plan is fation okay I can tell when the OC is doing his job and if he's honestly gonna be honestly good for a quarterback and Kingsbury has been good for Jaden Daniels and he's doing a good job with Jeff Driscoll and you can see it out there on the football field you can see it so I want to know what you guys got think about this what do you think honestly about 17 guys catching a football in this game it's off the charts fation okay it is off the charts to see 17 guys in a game catching a football okay that means your quarterbacks are out there getting the ball around they are being taught in practice to hit the open man to get through their progressions that's what it tells me and I feel like I got a pretty high football IQ there's stuff I can see other people can't see Kingsbury is doing his job and guess what that's all I've got
