the Donald what does it mean to you that case is offering this opportunity to his case key in the Quarterback Camp and nil nil opportunity that y'all can come out teach kids and benefit financially too yeah yeah it's exciting you know you know a lot of things we do out here it's always mostly volunteers so this is something we're excited to do this is something we do uh without the nio opportunity but just to be around Case Keenum and then get Knowledge from him too you know he's teaching the kids but we're also picking up stuff from him that we can take away um and everything like that so hopefully tomorrow we'll probably have our crews out here too get a little working and learn from him with all the other high school kids too so it's really exciting very beneficial to everybody Lucas what do you think about this opportunity that that case is offering yeah to piggyback off him you know case cam is offering you know an experience and a lifetime memory that we didn't have going through high school you know college Legend guy who's been in the NFL for 10 plus years and played for many teams and been very successful so it's awesome that not only we coming out here and learning from him but also you know all these kids you know taking valuable things and learning as you see behind us everybody's getting better so it's a great experience what about the opportunity to benefit financially through his case cam Quarterback Camp with an nio opportunity uh I think it's a huge blessing that you know we're benefiting financially from it but you know I'd say that's that's the last thing on our minds you know the thing is all these kids paid valuable money these parents took the time to you know bring their kids out here I think it's important that you know we dive into their life and help them and make them a better quarterback when they leave here than when they can what does it mean to Case Keenum wants to step up for uh quarterbacks and build a legacy of his own here through nil with you guys not you going on down the road Case Keenum is amazing he anything that he's done with us has been you know all from the heart and we're forever grateful Case Keenum is you know the best quarterback to come through U of H so it's awesome that you know we got to eat at his house and chill with him and honestly he's the most down-earth guy so it's been an amazing amazing experience donor what does it mean you get cases building a legacy through NFL to help you guys and other quarterbacks down the road yeah yeah it means a lot you know I think this is first of many camps that we're going to have you know this is something that gets uh keeps everything in Houston you know a lot of a lot of NFL players you know sometimes a little too high maintenance or two two up there to come back and give back to the community but this is a prime example of just somebody who cares about the community who's bigger than himself who just wants to give back to everybody so it's a great opportunity and it uh it sets up greatness for everyone so greatness for uh quarterbacks and then kids to come so they'll they'll remember this for the whole life so it'll be great I know Lucas said financially is the last thing on your mind but it's still an important part of the equation how meaningful is that to you yeah yeah yeah it means a lot it means a lot you know just like he said even though um it's really just about these kids coming out as better quarterbacks it's always beneficial you know if you do anything uh in life you know it's always beneficial if you get something out of it too but you know it's always about where your head's at with it so our heads out is just trying to get these kids better trying to make sure they're having fun and everything like that and just have a good time out here it's nil opportunities kind of become on the map this is something still growing right now but have one specifically for the quarterbacks you guys obviously try to have a good relationship with each other but yeah this is the one that seems like would build a good relationship with you guys and also the others from here how important is that going to be moving forward yeah yeah it's going to be it's going to be big time you know it's always about relationships especially in Houston you know just getting out and meeting new people you know connections you know everything is about life after football because we're not we're not going to play football our whole life so this is just a great opportunities to meet new people you know case knows a lot of people in the NFL and the big time world when it's when you got to do real life and you can't play football no more so it's just great opportunities for us to network uh while we're in college so it's more than money like we could do a lot of stuff with it so we're excited about it Lucas to feed off that like normally today you guys probably wouldn't be hanging out but today you are not necessarily in a competitive nature yeah uh how does that build that relationship currently I think it's amazing I I wouldn't I wouldn't go too far to say that we wouldn't be hanging out me and Donnie you know we do our own thing on the side but you know it's a great opportunity to come out here and you know work with the uh legend that is here giving back as he said a lot of NFL guys they make it out and they don't come back and give back to the people that gave to them so the fact that he's coming out here and putting a lot of money into this and receiving little out of it is huge for not only us but him and it shows the kind of person he is something you guys can already see looking forward like Beyond when you guys leave here looking forward to come back still being a part of a thousand percent as I mean we chopped it up yesterday at Casey's house and uh this is something that we want to do annually so it's an amazing experience not only for us but the city of Houston and surrounding cities to come out get some more get better and learn from a legend like that so good stuff
