Sur Sports we recently hit 1,000 subscribers so thank all you guys for that if you want to join the family and be entered to win a MacBook Pro and experience all the NFL news that's important that you need to know hit the Subscribe button and hit the notification Bell so you're notified when our videos go live when we hit 10,000 subscribers we're giving away a MacBook Pro like I mentioned so don't forget to hit the Subscribe button hit the notification Bell so you don't miss a video the Washington commanders have officially moved off of their backup quarterback that they originally drafted Sam Hartman um it looked like they were going to be keeping him along with Jaden Daniels kind of like they did with RG3 and Kur cousins back in the day um but they cut Sam Hartman so what are your thoughts on this and do you think um there is any chance um that he ends up becoming a good player in the NFL or do you think why do you think he was released after being drafted yeah I mean I don't think Sam Hartman is going to be a great NFL player I think that there obviously was a lot a lot of hype around him because he ended up going to Notre Dame and also partially because of his look he he looked a lot older than his age might have seemed especially with the the long hair and the beard I mean you know he's 25 but he looks like he's 35 with two kids and yeah I just think that obviously they drafted jayen Daniels I know they had a situation like we talked about with RG3 and cousins years ago but I don't think it's it's like that at all I think d Dan is by far in a way better than Hartman and I just think Hartman wasn't able to keep up at Camp so that's why he ended up getting cut and we love to see if anyone else takes a flyer on him but you know I mean obviously Notre Dame quarterbacks haven't had the best track record even if we look at Ian book who was good at Notre Dame but didn't have a great stint in the NFL so do you think you think Hartman with his long hair and his his his big beard can claw his way back into a a lineup in the NFL yeah I think uh just like just like Ian the book is the B book is closed on Ian and uh think the book is closed on Sam as well I think um Sam Hartman like you said I don't know something happened in training camp that made get cut like people don't cut draft picks especially quarterbacks um if you're not like a seventh round pick or something like that like obviously they took him for a reason and they probably thought he was going to be the backup but he didn't he didn't make the cut so something must to happen in Shan camp and yeah he does look a lot older than he really is but had to be something with him on or off the field because um he was a pretty good player in college but you don't just draft the quarterback and then cut him the same year that doesn't happen very [Music]
