KENNER LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE MAINLY DRY AT THIS POINT, BUT HOUMA P'' BOY OFF AND ON. YOU'VE BEEN SEEING SOME PRETTY GOOD RAIN AND THERE'S ANOTHER SHOWER JUST TO THE NORTH OF YOU. CUT OFF ALSO SOME HEAVIER RAIN EARLIER. PLAQUEMINES PARISH SEEING SOME OF THAT RAIN AS WELL. WE HAVE A STATIONARY FRONT OUT IN THE GULF OF MEXICO HELPING TO TRIGGER THAT RAIN. BUT WHAT WE'RE GOING TO FOCUS ON IS THE COLD FRONT THAT WILL BE MOVING THROUGH LATER TODAY. THAT SHOULD BRING US SOME COOLER AND DRIER AIR ACROSS THE BOARD. 73 IS OUR DEW POINT RIGHT NOW. THAT DEW POINT TEMPERATURE SHOULD BE GOING DOWN BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON. WINDS RIGHT NOW FROM THE NORTH NORTHEAST AT ABOUT NINE MILES PER HOUR. THERE'S A STATIONARY FRONT AND LOW PRESSURE BRINGING US THE RAIN THIS MORNING. HERE'S THE COLD FRONT THAT WILL MOVE THROUGH LATER TODAY. NOW, EVEN IF THIS WERE TO BECOME A TROPICAL DEPRESSION AND THE HURRICANE CENTER SAYS THERE IS A 60% CHANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT, I THINK OUR FORECAST ESSENTIALLY WOULD REMAIN UNCHANGED. WE'RE GOING TO GET THIS MOISTURE STARTING TUESDAY, BRINGING US ANOTHER GOOD CHANCE FOR RAIN, 30% CHANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS WITH THAT WAVE. BUT HERE'S THE ONE OBVIOUSLY, THAT'S MOST IMPORTANT TO US. 60% CHANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS. WE'RE GOING TO START TO GET WET AGAIN EVEN BY LATE MONDAY.
