Gators who will be hosting the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time right now Miami is a 2 and a half Point favored across the board uh there is a three at bet online right now as we speak um here's the thing you look at all the specifics here and you have to ask yourself why is Miami just a two and a half Point favorite here they opened at three they're down to two and a half the only one that's held steady is sp online in that regard uh Miami's regular season win total over and under odds are nine and a half Florida they're over and under win total is 4 and a half so it makes no sense that's a huge disparity uh Florida Play obviously Florida plays in the SEC a little bit different than Miami in the ACC uh the SEC always seems to be the top ranked uh conference in all of America on an annual basis but having said that that's still a five game disparity in terms of their regular season over in under uh win totals uh you also look at the fact this is a Florida program that's gone three consecutive Seasons with a losing record that has not occurred since 1945 through 1947 and the last time Florida has lost uh has gone four straight Seasons with a losing record goes all the way back to between 1935 and 1938 so this is a real Rarity and uh things getting a little tense down in Gainesville Billy nap here in his third year now it's put up or shut up time because uh there's a short leash on Florida head coaches as we've seen in recent years when they don't sustain any type of success let alone uh in the first two years have losing records and uh Miami uh has made some great additions I mean uh they got former Washington State quarterback cam Ward former Oregon State star running back Daman Martinez uh they're ranked number 21 in the country in the AP preseason poll yet Florida has not received a vote in the preseason AP poll so they're NE even not on the honorable mention list um and if it looks too good good to be true like I said in sports sping more times than not it is folks this looks like a sucker play to me it looks like they're uh every you know the average novice better out there there will take Miami here minus two and a half I'm going to go the other way I'm going to go Florida plus the three at bet on line if you get two and a half I'd still take the two and a half um as a matter of fact uh if if this line even goes down I'd take Florida because to me they're begging you to take the Miami Hurricanes in this uh spot I trust the odds makers a lot more than I trust the pollsters and this line just does not make cents Florida plus
