[Applause] [Music] there he is pulling on his number five shirt that must have been an exciting moment for him coming back after being on loan to put on the number five shirt for Le United giving this young man the number five shirt and then not playing him in any matches is like giving me the keys to a Porsche without an engine it it must a felt here's your number five shirt now go and warm the bench for a season are any of us surprised he's leaving I'd be off wouldn't you in a season where we had Joe RH on having to play every single match and we had to pull or or took the decision to pull our best Midfield fer into Center back rather than give this young man Charlie Creswell some minutes on a football pitch few stats for you the season before he was out on loan as you guys know at mil wall he played about half the season he got a bad eye socket injury so he had to hang up his boots uh halfway through the season but he he played 28 games some stats for you 28 Games Starting 25 he scored four goals and assist to here you go I thought I'd just share this with you this is called a goal from a set piece particularly from ahead there we go he got four yellow cards no Reds he played 81 Progressive passes during that time 16 recoveries and 15 Progressive carries which if you compare to Joe rhon who did great for us Joe rodon played 42 started 42 matches and he had 180 Progressive passes so around double but for what 15 16 more matches Ethan ampadu gets pulled back into Center back and he he provides us with 237 Progressive passes and 55 Progressive carries God I wish he was in the Midfield can you imagine if we'd have had him in Midfield and Charlie Creswell getting opportunity at Center back alongside RH on you compare those stats to Liam Cooper and well it's laughable can't even compare Liam Cooper scored one goal and injured him whilst doing it but other than that gave us very little so you have to ask the question why did Daniel farker not give Charlie Creswell more minutes and it's Bonkers isn't it by giving him the number five shirt they clearly had it in mind that he was going to be getting some football I mean he he was part of the squad that that won the European under 21 European championships there was him uh Taylor har Bellis Levi cwell was the center backs look where Levi cwell are and Taylor Harwood Bellis tayw Taylor holwood Bellis has just finalized his move to Southampton is in and is playing in the Premier League and Charlie Creswell has been sat on the bench for an entire season I was amazed to see the stats I couldn't believe he played something like 150 minutes last season I when I do not know remember this young lad who came on against West Ham and absolutely dominated Antonio remember that guy given no chance at all much like Joe gilhart sure both of them will be uh will be off and to all you fans that have written him off as well as Joe gilhart shame on you we've seen next to nothing of him 10 15 minutes here and there same with Joe gilhart and what these boy supposed to do you know Joe Joe Gart doesn't go on and score a hattrick and therefore we write him off none of them have had any consistent run of games so how are they supposed to show what they're capable of we'll see what happens when these boys go elsewhere and get r regular minutes regular matches and then we'll all be looking at each other much like we will do about Archie gray what were we thinking we already know that too is sniffing around Charlie Creswell so and the word on the street is for a few million quid and I'm not one for finances but yeah just recently signed a new 5year contract and he's going out the door and that have a strange decision aren't you gr one week Charlie the next but like I said I don't blame the boy I would be out the door too and we can't talk about it being relationship because there was all that kickoff around nonto wanting to leave and you know he patched things up he got minutes on the pitch there was a similar issue with Charlie no doubt you know questioning why am I not getting any football you know when Liam Cooper's injured why am I not getting any football and he was told he had to accept that he was number four and that's a hard thing to accept isn't it you've been given the number five shirt you went out on loan you played 28 odd games for another club doing really well and you come back to your parent Club in the championship and you don't get any football time so I don't blame him I'm sure you guys don't but I'm telling you now mark my words we will come to regret this decision because I can see it now this lad will be it to lose for a season and before you know it he's going to be back in England in the Premier League anyway like subscribe all that I'll be back with something more cheerful I'm sure I hope [Applause]
