typical week for you flying in pitching one inning on a Tuesday leaving coming back did you feel any different out there did it just feel like any other start no felt like a normal start um you once I get going in my routine pregame um able to kind of kind of fli the switch and lock in a little bit um obviously wasn't as crisp tonight um you know four walks is never something we're trying to do um two of them we're kind of kind of being careful with and just making sure we're not getting beat in situations but um the other two were were just poor pitches that led the walk so um outside of that thought i' threw the ball really well um these guys came out swinging in the second half it's good to see so it's uh OB a good start here did it help that you worked on this mound on Tuesday um honestly I think the mound tonight was was way worse than it was the other day um I was slipping a lot there in the second inning um couldn't get the footing with the landing um just had some really weird pitches really weird stuff going on out there and finally finally was able to kind of get uh get comfortable out there um but I mean most Mounds are pretty similar so there's not much that you can do out there have you been with Anthony santon there just being able to watch him this year just both what he does offensively and defensively yeah I mean he's played great um you he tell you he's a slow starter um and then he'll turn it on when the when the weather warms up and and he's done that so um it's it's been incredible to his last two months have really been um really good like I say both sides of the ball swing the bat well playing great defense um I think he's kind of been a Difference Maker being a a veteran guy there in the middle of lineup could you just kind of talk about what this experience has been like through the last seven eight days like we talked about going back in for spending time with the twins you know making the two trips here yeah it's been a lot um you know it's it's kind of one of those sacrifices I knew it was going to have to make um when when the family was going to have to spend the spend the year there but um fortun fortunately everything's been going well so um you're not going to complain about having to fly to to go see the family but um you know definitely looking forward to to kind of having a normal week this week and um getting back into my my normal routine how big's that Matteo play to end the sixth inning it's awesome um obviously he's he's very quick um speeds part of his game and that translates pretty well to to the defensive side of the ball so um he's made great plays all year and um I didn't know if he was going to quite get there but if you ask him he's like oh I had it the whole way like don't you don't have to doubt me um so it was a great play and um the score I think was six to1 still at that time so um definitely a momentum shift um to to kind of keep the score where it was and let us kind of run away with that one
