Super High Roof NOOVO Plus: The Future of Promaster Camper Vans

Intro [Music] Ro on the road it's kind of like tall people always a little uh topheavy right exactly easy to fall down easy to fall let's see is a top is it it feels like acceleration and everything is good I mean front wheeel drive kind of the same acceleration wise yeah as a as a proas drives pretty good but like I'm my thought would be because it's tall because it's a little top heavy is it is it going to go side more I mean any less stable to you no feels feels confident seat yeah over here seems Seems about Nick's Test Drive right I I don't feel any different than any other Pro Master and one of the things with this would be right is this is built up so it's pretty solid like when you close the doors in the back sounds good yeah you know so the weight helps in this case yeah you know what I mean yeah cuz you have that lower down weight helps keep you planted you know it's like a sports car cuz it's lower down handles a little better the taller you get the more that top heaviness you or you know that's what people like about electric cars and they don't realize it because of that battery it's very heavy down low really so it feels very solid junk in the trunk yeah junk in the in the not necessarily in the trunk in this case but in the that's a saying isn't it h yeah junk in the trunk right right actually we're about to in this case it's like having big feet big heavy feet yeah if you have big heavy feet you can't fall down but but you don't run fast either no about to drive by the new dealership let's see if there's any progress there today just I just tease you guys out in the window we go oh it's some dirt out there some dirt SM I got to tell you I'm going 50 almost miles an hour I'm at 50 rolling yeah it feels normal normal um promas which that front wheel front wheeel drive you know the engine being on top of where the wheels are turning always is a solid Drive in my opinion I like the sound of the engine my daughter was driving my car and it was very quiet and and she's 15 learning how to drive and it's hard hard for her to gauge how fast she's going cuz the car's so quiet she say then she drives like a Jeep and they're really loud and you know and so it's easy to tell how fast the Jeep is going because it's loud but she likes the feel of the Jeep better she said okay yeah she can tell how fast she's going cuz she's really going 30 m an hour but it sounds like she's going 90 yes Jeeps are loud as crap can we make a new turn without making a three-point turn look at that wow look at that nice nice that's the reason you buy a Class B folks that is the reason yeah yeah I'd say it drives like a normal prop master I would not say that it drives any different and then we'll give you guys a little bit of a look of what's going on in the back not too much out of the ordinary rattling or any there's always going to be something that you can hear vibrating back there that's just no way around around that you know given the length and all the stuff that's in here but feels and sounds solid AC's great it's a proas you don't expect anything else no it's not diminished by being taller no I don't think so no boom welcome back to the channel we have a van that is very new very new Specs very new to the world and it's called Nuvo it's called nvo that's like new in Spanish isn't it nuo Nuvo yeah we go with that some that's new in Spanish yeah yeah yeah maybe minion you know the minions language so this is the nvo plus and it's a brand new promas I think this is one of the first a that I've seen on the ProMaster chassis with the with the higher roof yes so this is the 3500 so it's the same as the traditional proas but this is on a higher roof Y and nvo is the new brand the owners are French very French European inspired right we are in Gainesville Florida we do not sell nvo yet we are in talks with them about becoming a dealer and doing this so it's kind this is a prototype that's been sold but it's kind of on a tour last stop Florida yes and they try to get two birds at one stone yes they wanted to get Hank to do a video cuz he's a video extraordinaire and then your guys are checking it out to see if you want to carry this right yeah no so far I like it you know I don't see any reason why we wouldn't I you know I think that we're we're in talks with them but you know we've we we've had people come in and ask about it lots of good I mean there's a lot on here that I think is very unique and I haven't seen in other Vans which is cool the first thing just being that it's taller than every other van every other Pro Master yeah my first impression is very nice just a couple of things that I'm going to add to this as we go through it and we're just going to go through this you guys just saw us driving so you drove it how was it driving drove just like a normal proom Master felt like that as a passenger proom Masters are good to drive front-wheel drive your engines on your wheels that are turning so you've got good traction I got a question they ask you to review do they ask your opinion or they just want you to review what it is or do they want to know what the whole HK strange they want the whole Hank strange experience no I think they just want to know they they want you to review it don't want your actual opinion oh they going to get my opinion and I know they'll get yours so it's and it's my opinion is not bad listen I was curious to see how this would look with a higher roof it kind of looks like it has either a mohawk or kind of like a Frankenstein forehead a big forehead is kind of how so I mean just to show there's one right there you know we don't have like one right next to it or like right there there two see they got a little cute forehead is it I mean how many this forehead is like your forehead something like that well my hair is leading my forehead it's it's running away but it's for a good purpose which we'll see when we get inside of it what the good purpose that my hair is leaving the of the oh the space that's I don't know what that's leaving for that that went to the West Coast his hair went to the West Coast somewhere do not know where so okay let's run around this is what's cool you know every once in a while you see something unique that that you haven't seen before that you don't see in other places and the Very obvious first thing that is unique is that it's taller and so anytime in a class B that you can get more space yeah is phenomenal especially when you're talking about height because tall people I'm 6 foot tall if you're 6'2 63 64 you can almost forget about comfortably walking through a van yeah in this van you can comfortably walk through I agree so is this the biggest you could get this is the biggest this is the longest and the tall six cylinder 3.5 so before before we go in one little thing one thing I always think about with pro masters is sitting driving yeah this has a lot of room sitting up front driving does it does you can definitely tell there's a lot of leg room a lot more than what I've remember feeling other ones we I had Brandon one of your guys he's 63 and Austin which is like 62 yeah in that same they were both comfortable me too and you yeah so very comfortable we don't always see that based on the floor plan yeah of the particular vehicle so I think for two reasons it's hot as summer Exterior Tour out here do you want to go to the back and then go in let's just go in oh you want to go well we got to show the outside stuff not I mean it's it's a I know but you get running boards which I know some people do give you running boards but some don't so it's nice to see running boards and this has a Gerard awning up here which this is an upgrade yes so and this can be controlled from inside but that's upgrade so you see the solar panels they told me there's 400 watts of solar up there I have an act 300 three three 300 okay that's what they told you four maybe I wrote it wrong I think it's three but we'll check and I'll put a note I like the wheels on here they've got nice rims they do you see that you see that on all pro masters but you want show the back yeah let's show the back there's the 3500 okay so the back because of the way Rear Storage it's set up you have limited storage back here which isn't bad there is Storage and yeah you got something back here you go I mean it's an arms length and it goes the whole way you have a nice outside shower right here shower head yep so EUR sty so the shower comes out that's interesting you can use it yeah I don't know how far maybe that's as far as it comes out but you can use it as a shower that's cool I how to get it back in now that it's out I don't know let's see there we go I will watch you do this if somebody's going to break this i' rather it be you Nick well this is the thing I'm not buying this one at least you could fix them not you personally but oh what do you mean not me personally I can fix things you know Matt or someone over in the shop could fix Matt is a much better fixer they and this is your this is your faet on and yeah so there is a screen so you can fold the screen down there yeah and then there's also a bed bag what's cool what the height of it gives you is a an opportunity to have a a bed go up and down so when we get inside we'll explain that a little more so as you guys can see right here you have a sitting area which people can sleep here and this falls out we'll show you but this bed goes up and down like you would see in some other vehicles but this has a lot of room Queen siiz RV queen siiz bed up there so what's unique is the ability to have a bunk bed back here so you can have two kids down below and two two adults up top um you know I I tend to snore my wife says I've never actually heard myself snoring so I don't know if I believe it or not I believe it but my wife would kick me up top and she would stay down I don't know from experience Nick and I don't want to find out you're not going to find out my wife says I do if I'm finding out we are in trouble so that means we're sharing a jail cell yeah this is really cool and their story in these which we'll show when we go I like the nice little lights they're like little puck Cube I don't know what this is size of a quarter almost you know I like the color I like this light tan this is solid wood yeah I mean this is real and the doors when they I'll let you close the doors and you'll see how solid it sounds I like the awning style Windows as well which is unique on both sides nice ventilation tell you as the more that I hang out in the van the more that I kind of talk about and do it I'm like convincing myself into it that there's not too much to complain see that was a good thud yeah not too much to complain about in this it has the bird's eye view and all that will show the few concerns that I had as soon as I saw it I called the owner Ben W and I said hey Ben these are my few concerns here Nick they've already been taken care of on the next one oh cool I said wow so like I thought they needed a better air conditioner I thought they needed seat belts in the back there was a and he said nope we're already putting seat belts in we're already getting a truma potentially or a nice strong so they had good feedback from this going around the country those my first two first initial things was got to have air conditioner got to have seat belts so we've got cassette style in here traditional cassette toil but what I hear is you actually get water so the water line is connected so you actually get a water flush interesting so because this has been used this is prot I'm not pulling that out there might be some waste who knows what's in there and then back here so here you've got your furyon your 30 amp uh what's this oh this this the water input right here a water fill that's how you fill okay cool your gray tank down here there's a rickon hot Hot Water Heater water heater and furnace which is like a a uh on demand instant hot water heater that uses the fuel of your fuel tank to heat up the water and heat up the air and and it isn't uh there's no propane on this coach which I love I don't know personally and correct me if I'm wrong somebody will in the comments I don't know of another ProMaster van that does not have propane that's a good I mean like Ro not a traditional Builder everyone you know I mean I don't know I mean maybe Airstream does and I just don't sell airstreams I don't know but I don't know of another traditional van ProMaster does not have propane so I think that's really cool to to so instead of having propane this has a lithic battery systemo soless pocket has propane canisters not a propane tank so maybe maybe you can say the Winnebago Souls pocket but this is like this is a fullblown full lithium full fullblown RV and lithionics pretty nice yeah I like that once again there's a step here that comes with it so you can get in Jump inside it's it's better yeah let's go inoo this heat it's hot Hank oh you know I'm not supposed to sweat T this looks good this looks good Interior Tour right here I like it the presentation is awesome this is very cool yeah I don't want to drop it but yeah I mean we and this is something we see but I like this looks like bamboo I like the I like the rounded edges I like the coloring I like the little buttons I think that's unique a lot of commercialization of stuff like that which is cool you know you got some panels here if it was me I think I might have I might put them somewhere to where they're you know it's like oh it's all right here they're just kind of and buttons yeah buttons are for lights and water pumps and that's that's the big try I said 630 amp hours of lithium by Lithium Power System lithionics a 3000 watt victron inverter 200 watts of solar on the roof it does not have a second alternator so it has one alternator it's a heavy duty alternator that that charges the batteries uh when you're driving the solar does a trickle charge which is cool but just being in here I like the Kitchen feel of it you know this is not a convection microwave this is a regular microwave I would like a convection that something else that would be ni I like a convection big Brit of fro I think right here this is the same fridge that road Trek uses nice fridge very European I think it's Italian as the brand yeah um it's an Italian brand which is cool so my opinions of this is you know when you get inside here I like this it's like there's some wood and then there's some you know like what would we call this comp this facia yeah like like a composite material and it gives a nice feel almost feels like some of the Expedition Vehicles we've looked at in here just on a smaller scale so this Desk/Workstation seats turned around you do have a little desk right here I'll show you guys Nick sitting over here now they they told me being the Prototype they're going to give you more room here so I'm going to show Nick and that but you know what having when's the lot did you ever see anyone carve out this space here no I think that's nice yeah I think it's cool and then there's some storage here as well yeah gives you a little cubby which is nice yeah I think your fuse box is here I got to tell you the construction feel of even stuff like that looks sharp yeah and this more storage here well and that's what the higher roof gives you is just more storage Lola is not very tall is she no have you met Lola my wife's not very tall either that was a rhetorical question yeah Lola makes short people look tall oh this a lot look at this Nick there a lot of room here so Lola would not be able to get her hands back there no and that is something else having a tall ceiling this would be that's where I will put I would put all my snacks in there so Lola can't throw them out yeah she can't throw them out you like the guy from King of Queens hiding hiding snacks from his wife yeah so I like you know the this nice radius curved here oh we didn't show the screen materials nice screen so these awning style windows and I talk about this in all my videos I think this is a great yes great way to do video a great way to do windows fresh air you know protects you from the rain and then when you don't want them you know I like how they're tinted a little as well and you have day and night shades which is cool um you know this is nice good size here you know you got lots of lots of drawers Everything feels for a proas Everything feels roomy you know what else is cool I I probably have every month I have two or three new RV Brands like this bring stuff by for me to look at and for hey do you want to buy it do you not this this is is for someone who's this is a prototype this is one of the best ones I've seen I got to tell you I would agree this is one of the best you know I always sneak in and look at stuff you do you do and like I agree with what you're saying look at that sink like this is a deep sink it's good size hot water cold water this thing comes out I like this you know the Euro Loft which is kind of the big deal there nice little storage Nook here is cool too yeah the Euro Loft which is this bed Lift Bed here so this is where you kind of control it so you turn it on on and then oh I might turn it off there you go oh cool and you just press a button and it goes down so you have a couple different configuration so if it was a bunk bed and I had my kids below I'd probably leave it right about there yeah you still climb up and you still climb up and you have plenty of space and they have plenty of space um if it was just me and my wife I'd probably lower it as low as it would let me which is right there so you can still see out the windows yeah let me let me just run outside real quick cuz I want to show this from the other side okay this is cool I do like how they've done this bed because you know we see these kind of bed setups Nick all the time but this is really a good use of the space here yes so so here it is I can climb in the very this is an RV queen so this is a very comfortable memory foam mattress you know 6 foot tall two people can sleep up here comfortably and look and there's a lot of space here you know my whole hands are I got obviously a light there but there's a lot of space above me and there's two people can sleep below this is the big Advantage I think to the high roof that you can have two beds like a bunk bed style in this van yeah and this really makes good use of these I don't know what they're called but this is elevator style and it's using the seat belt type of material to track seat belt yeah good use of it cuz typically this takes up a lot of room yeah this whole setup but that's nice yeah so do you want to lift it up so I can show from this end how it looks if you have two people in here so once again that storage that we showed you guys is down [Music] here and here we go it's going up so you can go a part of the way and have people sleep in here so even like right there I would sleep right there yeah and so I would be I would be able to sleep like this I don't I don't feel posture very convenient to not to have to make and unmake your bed well that's so not only is the bunk bed nice but to not have to make and unmake the bed all the time big deal is a big deal and then you could throw things in here storage storagewise this I think goes all the way down also this whole setup of this bed yeah and I'll show you that in one second let me raise this and then I'll show you that you know you would have to because this is solid here you'd have to bring if you had bicycles through here but you could bring things in here I'm assuming and do some kind of storage but you can also just put uh bicycle racks on the outside of this which is probably what I would do Nick yeah I would definitely put some boxes and storage stuff out here I think that's really the way to go let me see I don't think I closed did I close this door properly there we go it's better on a sunny day like this that awning will come in handy you will be happy you have a aw this thing folds out like this and it also drops down to where it is the U Lounge Dinette middle of the bed here okay so you can make this in that over there for there's a there's a switch right here no this is for lights oh okay oh cool yeah so I know know this does go up and down I've seen it I like the LED lighting I like the yeah the strip lighting around the lighting in here is nice the flooring is nice yeah it's like a waterprof Bo yeah it's got some padding in it so hey this is something that my guys all got in and they were impressed yeah height height Bathroom some good width you could close this door here I'll give you this you can close the door good space here it's got a nice flexible so flexible yeah so you close and you have lots of space to where if you do need a little extra space you have it yeah and I think there's a light I don't know where the switch is for this light it's right there oh there you go got hot water cold water you know that's roomy yeah I like considering side bath roomy but I like the height as well and so this is what we were talking about this is a cassette toilet but you have the ability to flush so I don't know I don't know if anyone oh look at that it's flushing there you go what that is crazy Tech yeah that's crazy yeah nice pretty cool yeah so very nice oh check this out that's cool Little Pantry yep what is Storage Bins that one we got to open all the cabinets Nick another P all the cabinets spice rack or something I like how deep bottles how much wine you drink I don't drink that much at all you drink ginger beer yeah garbage look at that little garbage can that's cute filter in flow in you know like built-in filter ey oh that's cool yeah I like that nice I what about these open these the more I'm messing with this the more I like it h yeah me too one but yeah cool so there's a lot of storage here and the big storage we need to show people is right behind you so I think a lot of people want to see how this storage under the bed works yeah so I think you flip it up like that it goes all the way back there all the way there which I wish is very cool storage so you can get you can get some stuff in here both you know what's cool you know I'd say 80 to 90% I'm come here since we can actually do this 80 to 90% of people that buy these Vans it's just two people husband and wife yeah two people um not always husband and wife obviously obiously there's lotss of different variations of that but it's two people and to have a bed you can leave made up up top and then to have like a dinette office storage area down below right I think is a great idea and you know I think people have thought about it we've done it in a sprinter van like we've custom made a Sprinter van for someone and we've done this yeah um because they had kids I really liked it what what you don't typically see is the amount of the amount of Headroom that you have in this one because the Headroom being so nice with it being much taller than everything else is nice it makes it feel more like a home if you're off let's say you're out traveling you're at a campground or whatever you're doing not only can you Lounge here maybe do your work but you can have some guests come in yeah right you don't have to mess with your bed yeah you've got everything stored you've got your bed up there you don't have to do a lot of making up trying to stash everything out of the way um I really like this feeling and like I said see how we're sitting here at this at this table we can probably get another person here another two people over there two people here yeah this gets bigger you can actually like share a meal 100% sit down here sh meal very easily very nice I think it comes back to me like I was saying to you you know you've got some big Excursion Vehicles yeah that this is one of the benefits of that you can have this nice Lounge area here so to find this in a proas I really like yeah I Future Models would love seeing this go into other chassis like maybe a sprinter chassis or Transit chassis yeah and I and I would love I mean and I think that's only matter of time before other manufacturers are can build on this High roof yeah like why wouldn't they if it's if you see this if this could be done if it's available why wouldn't they build on a high yeah I say they should you know nvo is building three models they're building this one they're building a pop top and then they're building a non-pop top oh pop top would be sweet uh but the pop Top's not on the high roof I don't think oh it's not no oh okay see that's what you miss highy roof would be for me I wonder if you could I don't know yeah we'll have to find out from them and you guys can I'll put a I just don't know something to their I know I know like I've talked to their owner great guy Ben is is phenomenal to deal with like I said all my interaction with them have been great I I've I've liked everything that I've seen I like this van you know I like the way that that they're not trying to sign up a ton of dealers they're trying to Price trying to keep it you know kind of you know to where exclusive you know they can't build that many they're smaller smaller manufacturer and so so this tend to be a little bit more expensive I think this is in the 180s 186 is what as we see this one sitting obviously if you're ordering it'll be different I'll encourage you to go to be a little bit more than that yeah I don't know if they're going to have options I think he told me they're going to try to stick to this and then but then the other ones are going down in price there's the pop Top's cheaper and then the nonp top verion is cheaper so those are going to be but have having this you know for 186 with lithium with the I would need a 110 air conditioner seat belts back here yeah definitely something like a truma which I'm like I'm obviously partial I'd like the truma Venta in here but any 110 is going to work now this is 12vt AC in here it's working fine right now but an extended test that I've done 12 volts they start dumping water on you after about 24 hours they just can't keep up with the Florida heat Arizona Las Vegas California they just can't keep up with the heat no so 110 would be great in here has been really welcomed by the van Community as well there's a few videos out they have 80 something orders already that's pretty cool and people are coming down even though you're not carrying them people are coming to your store to see them someone drove up from Naples today just to see this van Friday somebody came up I think some other guys some other people coming tomorrow the owner flying here tomorrow to kind of give me give you the details give me all the details you know what I would be very very happy to carry these I think I think that if somebody wants a noou I can say with almost certainty that we will be able to I think this is different enough from what you carry you know we always talk about this right everyone has that van that's going to work perfectly for them and I think this is different enough from the different other offers you have you guys have like carefully curated what you carry corre you know and I think this is different enough that your customer who's looking for something Euro style wants a little bit more room in terms of living with it every day it kind of makes sense obviously it's going to cost you a little bit more but this van probably cost a little bit more to build on and what we're seeing a pop top cost more and the the craftsmanship that I'm seeing is great I haven't seen any issues I haven't seen anything that I would say these oh and I also told him to put leather seats up front I didn't like the black the black fabric so I said make leather seats that match this and and he said he's all over it so yeah I think that's a euro thing to not change the seats up there but I agree with you at least kind of do that nicely yeah do something that would match either the walls or or like this material like look the TV's flush mounted in there like how cool is that no this is really nice yeah you know I really do like what we're seeing here and one of the big things that I would have to really show you guys is sitting in this I actually have room and we you know we probably already said it but I'll say it again in the prom Masters if it's an empty cargo van lots of room once you build on it depending on the floor it's not so much room for someone like me that has longer legs longer arms but this one all the way back is it's pretty good I think some people move it up a little bit probably but it's I I could sit in that for 10 hours and drive that's what I worry about I don't want something that can only drive for like two three hours because it's cramp your knees your back whatever so that layout's pretty good I am looking forward to see what they do to give you more room there yeah so awesome I like it you want to go outside and wrap it up or yeah let's do it here all right so thanks for letting me actually come here and take a look at it I know you're not officially carrying this yet I don't see why we would I'm campaigning for you to do it yeah no I like it and and obviously as people are watching this we would love feedback we would love opinions you know my goal is to not buy the stuff that I like but to buy the stuff that people want to buy and people want to see and bring something new and Innovative to the market I think a good question for the folks out there is would you like to see first of all do you like this do you like the layout would you change but would you like to see some other CU everyone has their favorite companies I have mine you know so would you like to see other companies build on this yeah what is it called high roof super high roof I don't know super high top roof I would you like call the kid and play roof you know Frank head which one has the big hair is it kid or play I don't know one of them hasid I think it's kid kid has the big hair yeah this is this this this I this reminds me of kid and play it does or Frank head Frankenstein but it really the benefit of what all you get inside here I think is worth it so uh let me know what you guys think about this if you want to find out more stuff you can go to nvo this is the plus he said they're doing a couple of other things and there's going to be some changes going on here I do being that this is the Prototype that's about what we could say with this yes uh when they actually come out and when you're carrying phenomenal we'll take a look yeah for a prototype this looks phenomenal construction quality insulate everything feels great yes I agree so big thanks to nvo for inviting me down to do this for you for also allowing it to be pH facilitated yes if I could say that properly and man this you know what you're almost like your own show now you know people are sending you this is not the first thing that has come down here for us that's interesting that that's happening right happens all the time yeah I'm looking forward to the new to the new place getting opened up it's going to be fun yeah it's going to be so much fun like it's really going to be a destination location for people if you want to find out about class B Vans you could do it
