7 Sleeper Wide Receivers with MASSIVE Upside in 2024 Fantasy Football

Intro [Music] welcome back kids today we're going to some my favorite wide receiver Sleepers for the 2024 season there only a couple weeks left until the season kicks off there this will be a good time to kind of get through some of these guys so let's go ahead and get right into it let's start at the top now I could have went out and talked about some obvious names like Xavier worthy Deontay Johnson Christian Watson or lad makoni all these guys are kind of going in the 80s and 90s I figured that's a little too high I'm looking at players that are drafted inside the top 100 so let's get it Jaxon Smith-Njigba started we're going to talk about first Jackson Smith and jiga wide receiver 45 107th overall he didn't have a great rookie season but he did have a 177% Target share but he was 61st in roundout participation he had 63 catches 628 receiving yards and four touchdowns way they utilized him last year was pretty frustrating he had a 6.8 yards per Target and a 6.1 average depth of Target last season there was a lot of frustration uh you know that was expressed by jsn after the season for their their former offensive coordinator Shane Waldren who just how poor of a job he did now Shane Waldren is now Chicago so we'll see how that works out for them but uh I think this offensive ecosystem is going to be much better and played to the strengths of jsn with Ryan grubs now and the spread offense that he's going to be installing here for the Seattle Seahawks this year and I do think there's a real path that he's going to take over this number two wide receiver role this season and so I really like jaysen as kind of a real bounceback secondy year candidate here you know within this offense I think this year is pretty solid bounceback I think he can end up being like a solid you know maybe back in wide receiver two highend wide receiver three this year keep moving let's move on to the next guy and that is Jameson Williams wide receiver 48 Jameson Williams 115th overall the last season he only played in 12 games he only a 6.7 fantasy points per game but he was Fifth and averaged up the target last year spinning for the first four games of the season and he also missed most of his rookie season due the ACL tear so this is his first like season that he's going to be able to be ready to go week one and he's had a full off season and honestly I was kind of surprised because one of the biggest things that we've heard from the Camp is how good Jameson Williams looks I mean Dan Campbell went out of his way multiple times to really praise Jameson Williams and this is somebody that's been really critical of James Williams in the past so I think these are really positives to look at uh he has now entrenched the number two wide receiver here with Josh Reynolds gone to Denver we're talking about a super explosive wide receiver and I think we could see a lot more manufactured Touches for James Williams this year to get the ball on his hands utilize some of his strength so I think jamus Williams becomes a little bit more of a Nuance route Runner not that's just a deep thre and they're going to need him because they have really nobody behind Jameson Williams to even threaten him so I still think he's probably number he's probably still probably the third and Targets this year I still think Sam Lort and obviously alos Brown is gonna be ahead of him this is still one of the best offenses the league is the top five scoring offense from last season that were ninth to pass plays per game they were 18th to pace so there is some room here for for them to expand on that so I really like Jameson Williams could be a little more Boomer bust on a week to week but if they do really uh work to get him some more manufacturer touches get him the ball in his hands I think think that's going to raise his floor so James Williams somebody that I really like wide receiver 48 115th overall Brian Thomas Jr let's keep moving here talk about probably one my favorite wide receivers to draft in this range and that is Brian Thomas Jr rookie wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars being drafted at wide receiver 50 123rd overall this a 6'3 209 pound wide receiver he blew the doors off the combine with now this is a player that lot like a very similar profile to a lot of his other wide receivers he did not produce until his final year uh at LSU last year where he had 68 catches of 12200 receiving yards 17 touchdowns and a wonderful 17.3 yards per catch uh he was also 32 yards per route run last year uh he was also second in deep yards and deep uh he's had a great Camp a great preseason I think he's really flashed why the Jaguars took him in the first round and honestly I'm kind of surprised that he hasn't been pushed out more than he has really hasn't happened for a first round wide receiver and what should be a really bounceback offense with Jacksonville Jaguars like I really do like this Jaguars offense I think Trevor Lawrence I think Christian Kirk is obviously still going to be involved but I just think Christian Kirk's always been kind of a wde wide receiver two like he's not really a wide receiver one and so there is a clear path here in my opinion for Brian Thomas you know maybe starts out a little slow but as the season goes by I think he's going to really entrench himself as the number one wide receiver within this offense so I love Brian Thomas at this at this cost right now let's keep it moving talk Khalil Shakir about a player that I've been on all off season and that is khalo Shakir wide receiver 51 133rd overall I've talked about him uh multiple times but I there's no way I could leave him out of this video obviously we already know Stefon Diggs Gabe Davis are gone 240 total targets 41% of the team's total targets from last season are gone now they did draft Keon Coleman in the second round and they also signed ctis Samuel uh last season K Shakir had 39 catches 61 receiving yards and two touchdowns now he was 33rd in yards per route run 14th in yards per reception 19th in Target separation and second in fantasy points per Target he was also really good with the ball on his hands last year he was fourth in yards after the catch per reception as well uh and some good news I mean at least for for Cle Shakur is Curtis Samuel is dealing with a turf toe injury now cter Samuel is listed as week to ready to go for week one but all I know is tfto injury really ends up killing wide receivers I think KH Shakir has a real shot being this team's leading Target earner in this offense now I would still probably lean more towards dton concade but I definitely think he has the chance to be the number one target among the wide receivers this year I know there's people that are down on the bills offense but I still K could end up being a clearcut winner here at wide receiv receiv 51 133rd overall doesn't cost a lot to find out so he is somebody I'm definitely on keep it moving let's talk Rashid Shaheed about rased Shahed wide receiver 55 143rd overall another player that I've talked a lot about but there's no way again I could I could walk away without talking about him last season he had a 14% Target share 49 46 catches 719 receiving yards and five touchdowns and he averaged double- digit fantasy points per game last year he he actually was uh pretty productive with five games of top top 24 production he was 17 in yards per Target we know Michael Thomas is now gone from this offense freeze up 64 targets first 10 games of the season last year but probably the most positive is they they brought in a new office coordinator Pete Carmichael is gone that dude was cheeks I just a terrible terrible office coordinator cocon I don't know what this dude was still doing there finally bring in some new blood they bring in Clint kubak coming from that Kyle Shanahan tree so I I do think he is going to be able to scheme him touches scheme him into space really get the ball at his hands one thing that worries the most about the Saints offense this year is their offensive line that offensive line could be the worst in the League this year it really could be truly Dreadful this season so I I think you're going to see a lot of Derek Carr really getting the ball out of his hands quickly and if they decide to use rased Shah a much more smarter way instead of just having him being a deep threat I think that is where Shahed could really take off this year another Darnell Mooney player here is Darnell Mooney another player I'm really surprised has it really G got gain more traction wide receiver 70 204th overall this is going to be a team now with a new offensive identity with Shane Robinson coming in as the new offensive coordinator and you know coming in with some of that McVey stuff I think you're going to see darn money play a lot from the slot here within this offense think of like the Cooper cup type role I think that's where Darnell Mooney could play he's gonna play some on the outside they'll obviously put Drake London on the inside as well but this is a wide receiver that has a thousand yard season under his belt and obviously he has been you know held back on by the the four quarterback play uh what what he was with in Chicago and now he gets the best quarterback he's ever played with in Kurt Cousins we know Kurt Cousins can support multiple pass catchers obviously Kyle pittz and Drake London are still probably going to be the two leading Target earners here but I don't think it's crazy to think that Darnell money could end up earning himself 8090 targets within this offense this year and somebody with his skill set somebody that that that could be a deep threat down down the field I think Darnell Mooney is definitely going to be something that we're gonna be talking about in a couple of weeks once the season gets rolling and he starts to put up some uh some decent numbers here that people are going to be flocking to add so I want to draft darn Mooney whether it's with last spot in your bench something like that but I definitely think that there's a lot upside here that could finish as like a top 40 45 wide receiver this year so darell Mooney I definitely think is criminally undervalued uh lastly is Jaylen pbert Jalen Tolbert wide receiver 81 last season didn't really do a whole lot was kind of splitting time with Michael Gallup but Gallup saw a 40 14.5% Target share and ran 64% of the routes this is probably going to be the role that Jaylen tolber plays and so I mean if you can already penil L for maybe a 15 16% Target share this year and honestly Brandon Cooks back from what he looked like last year I don't think it's crazy to think that tolber could end up pushing by The Season's end as being the number two wide receiver here and it's really just cidi lamb and Jake Ferguson here within this offense and this is an offense last year with the Cowboys who were seventh and pass plays per game last year so maybe more of a deep sleeper somebody that maybe you necessarily maybe not draft because he how late he's going but certainly somebody that you should be keeping on your radar if you have big enough benches where you have 78 bench spots or you're in a deeper format like 14 16 teams Jaylen tolber is definitely going to be somebody that I'm going to want a Target here I definitely think there there's a possibility here that he could be a consistent fantasy producer maybe more like a flex option or something like that on a week toe basis so let me know in the comments section below who I miss or maybe somebody else that you're maybe a little bit higher on than me if you have any questions get to them we'll see you on the next one bye [Music]
