today's decision by Joe Biden to not seek reelection shows the difference between a selfless president and in Donald Trump a selfish person and I've got a lot of gratitude uh wolf uh toward uh the president uh for uh his entire career he stepped up and oftentimes it was reluctantly uh when he could have devoted his priorities in other directions you know his career has been you know essentially bookended by tragedy elected to the Senate and then he lost his wife and his daughter and he found a way to heal his family and help his constituents and then as he leaves the vice presidency and and wants to Coast into uh essentially retirement you know he loses his son bo uh and the country is subjected to Donald Trump and he stepped up once again and so my children you know they uh and many others will feed their families from the jobs he created they'll drive on the roads he built they'll power their computers and their phones by the chips that he manufactured and they'll live in a land uh that are more airable and breathable because of the greenhouse emissions uh that he cut so I'm I'm eternally grateful to Joe Biden
