Hart County KY black racer - 7 July 2024

okay yeah I guess uh after finding an Eastern garter snake and I guess four ring neck snakes found this Southern black racer and another garter snake but this is a a really nice looking one looks to be fresh shed uh man it's typical with Racers very docel very Placid um easily handle this snake without striking uh a lot of times they have a reputation for that but it's like I found that to be over over uh overrated yeah you can kind of see pretty little snake here yeah this is uh I guess like a young adult but yeah you can look at that it's very beautiful got a very satiny luster to its escalation right now very common snake a habitat journalist and also a dietary jist so essentially these snakes live in lots of different habitats and they will also consume just about anything they can overpower whether it be rodents and phibians reptiles even insects so yeah this is just now starting to stir a little bit so uh we'll go ahead and release it and have a look at the next snake we have there all right good deal all right so on buddy
